Good ol' Lady Geist. Who doesn't want a woman who will sacrifice you in miliseconds if it meant she would look a day younger?

Lady Jeanne Geist (married name) was born in France in 1815. She married German artist Johann Geist, and moved to America at some point in her life. She was the toast of the town, a woman of high stature. Famed and invited to every ball and gala... at least until old age claimed her beauty as it claimed Johann's life in 1880. In her old age, the only thing left to keep her company was her son Walter and her memories of her golden years.

Circa 1890s, when Jeanne was an old lady in a nursing home, the first Maelstrom happened, alerting the public to the existence of the supernatural. At this time, the spirit Oathkeeper, a powerful spirit from another plane, offered her a path to reclaim her past glories… he could restore her youth; all she had to do was drain the essence of the living to sustain herself. Geist was torn. Obviously murder was ghoulish business, and undoubtedly Oathkeeper was not an entity that could be trusted… but still, the thought of having a second chance of reliving her youth was too good to pass up. And so she concocted a plan: after making a pact with Oathkeeper she would bind and ward him, limiting his influence and pull over her. Oathkeeper would still get fed; but on her terms, not his. With the help of Walter, she made a ward to keep Oathkeeper under control. As the ward was "against the spirit of the deal," Oathkeeper promised to make Jeanne suffer if he ever broke free. After Walter died, the responsibilities of maintaining the ward fell on his son, Johann "Jr.", who maintains the ward to the current day.

As the ward containing Oathkeeper is weakening, Lady Geist has to kill more frequently to stay young, going from being able to kill one person to last throughout "swimsuit season", to only getting 2 months of youth for killing three people. Her main victims are usually the homeless.

Lady Jeanne Geist is a lady of stature and by god, she will not let you forget it. She looks down upon anyone who she considers of "lower social stature". She is extremely charming when she needs to be, being able to impress even the most jaded of characters. While cruel, Lady Geist holds the memory of her deceased husband and son in high regard. However, she only cares about her grandson as long as he can be useful to her. She speaks with a distinct french accent.

She has green eyes, white hair swept to the left side, a beauty mark on her right cheek, and green fingernails. Her right arm has long, sharp fingers and is a full bright glowing green due to Oathkeeper being attached to it, with a metallic ward in the middle of the upper arm. She wears a green corset dress with a cut on the right leg side, black pantyhose, black shoes with tall heels, a brown fur shawl, and a small dark green purse. Her accessories are green earrings and a 3-pointed green headpiece, both with a skull motif, and a metal necklace with a green heart gem.

Johann Jr. is one of the greatest doctors in New York (according to her). She never calls him her grandson, acting like he's her son so people don't learn her true age. The public are unaware of Lady Geist's deal with Oathkeeper, although rumors about it are circulating.
