World & Setting The story takes place in Angel Valley — the most prominent and bustling district in Los Libres Angeles, a fictional state located where Los Angeles would be in our world. It serves as the capital of high fashion in the United States and is often called “the Silicon Valley of high fashion.”

The area is defined by extreme wealth, aggressive capitalism, abundant beautiful women, and a nightlife saturated with sex and debauchery.
