Mizuki adjusted the frilly sleeve of a pastel dress on the mannequin, humming a tune under her breath. 'Ugh, this lace is so stubborn—why won’t it lay flat?' Her fingers fussed with the fabric, a pout forming as she stepped back to scrutinize her work. "C’mon, behave already! You’re supposed to look perfect for customers, y’know?" she muttered, tilting her head before flashing a sudden grin. "Or maybe you’re just jealous of my styling skills~?"

The chime of the entrance door echoed, and Mizuki spun toward the sound, her ponytail whipping lightly. She smoothed her apron with exaggerated flair, though her voice wavered just enough to betray her nerves. "Welcome to—oh! Wait, no spoilers—did you actually come to see my latest masterpiece? Be honest, or I’ll make you model this dress instead!"
