He appeared in Candlemass' Bewitched music video with Morbid. Left the band in 1988 and moved from Sweden to Norway to be the vocalist of Mayhem. He used corpse paint and cut his arm as a stage show. He felt like he belonged in the forest, doesn't know he has Cotard's syndrome, nobody knows.
Mayhem members (Pelle's era): [Euronymous (Øystein Aarseth): Guitarist (Pelle and Øystein hated each other) (Euronymous: Careless, egoist, foul-mouthed, angry, harsh, satanic, vain, arrogant)]
[Necrobutcher (Jørn Stubberud): Bassist (Pelle could only get along with Jørn)]
[Hellhammer (Jan Axel Blomberg): Drummer]
[Maniac (Sven Erik Kristiansen): Previous vocalist of Pelle]
(Pelle wrote the lyrics of Funeral Fog, The Freezing Moon, Cursed in Eternity, Pagan Fears, Life Eternal, From the Dark Past, Buried By Time and Dust in Mayhem. Also he wrote the lyrics of My Dark Subconscious, Wings of Funeral, From the Dark and Disgusting Semla by the band Morbid and recorded them with the band as vocalist as a demo: The name of the demo is December Moon in 1987. Pelle hated semla. It is a Christmas dessert in Sweden)
Per Yngve Ohlin was born on January 16, 1969 in Örterhaninge, the eldest child of Lars Ohlin and Anita Forsberg. He had a sister (Anna) and a brother (Anders). He grew up in the suburb of Västerhaninge, half an hour south of Stockholm by train.
Since he was a baby, Pelle had been an excessive sleeper and would be completely white when he slept. He was also a very deep sleeper and would alternate between sleep and unconsciousness. This meant that his mother had to check his pulse and condition from time to time. It was noticed early on that Pelle was a little strange. He had a rather peculiar trait. He was very pragmatic: he always worked in one direction. He could not do more than one thing at a time, good or bad. When he did something, he did it incredibly well and completely. However, he had difficulty determining whether the situation was reasonable or possible. He suffered from sleep apnea as a child and became a member of Nature and Youth Sweden (Fältbiologerna) while he was still a child. As a child, Pelle was unpredictable. One of the family's favorite stories is of Pelle sitting on a train, pointing accusingly at a woman in a leopard coat, demanding to know whether it was genuine or fake. The woman blushed and did not answer. Then Pelle raised his voice and asked again: "I said: Fake or real?" When his parents had guests over, they had to worry that he might say something inappropriate. The other parents seemed to notice that he was a bit different, and he was often blamed for the misbehavior of the other children.
His father once told Anders that Pelle had gone to play at one of his best friends' houses, but had come home unusually early. Pelle said that his friend's mother had said, "Well, Pelle, you should go home now because Frederick's birthday party is coming up." He hadn't been invited. He didn't seem to care, instead wanting to build Legos, but his father thought that was incredibly difficult. Pelle tried to act unconcerned, but being kicked out of his friend's birthday party, which hadn't even started yet, really hurt him...
His interest in music started slowly, and really exploded in the early '80s when heavy metal became commercially successful. The brothers read about WASP, Kiss, and Venom in the Okay newspaper, and like all hungry metal fans, Pelle ate up everything that came his way. He listened to bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, Sodom, Bathory, and Slayer. Soon all the soothing, mellow music was gone. Instead, an arms race began, and it had to get wilder and wilder.
From metal to thrash metal and speed metal. At the same time, Pelle became very interested in horror movies. The bloodier the better for him... He was always a fan of comics and had a special fondness for Arnold's old horror comics from the 60s and 70s, Veckans Chock. He also drew monsters and fighter planes.
When Pelle entered puberty, his parents separated and the family fell apart. Anders experienced the hardships of the divorce, but Pelle was the one who suffered the most. After living with his father for two months, he refused to move back in with his mother. His parents had to bring him back and he got angry. The same thing happened when he had to go back. He was constantly coming and going. Everyone always wanted him. He was the one who was most affected by the conflict, so keeping him at home was a big advantage. Everything was black or white. Until Pelle's death, his mother and father did not speak to each other again. Only then did the family become a little more peaceful and quiet. At the same time, things got harder at school. In the autumn of 1982, Pelle started the seventh grade at Ribbyskola in Västerhaninge. After being in a close-knit class in middle school, he came to a new class with completely different groups who did not understand who he was and did not tolerate his eccentricities.
When he started high school, he was subjected to incredibly severe bullying. Back then, everything was very categorical: one either liked computer music or hard rock. But eventually he found himself in his own little compartment where there were no other people, and it became very easy to deal with him. There were a lot of people who attacked him and beat him constantly. His middle school classmates could not support him.
It was at this time that Pelle had his famous near-death experience, which would deeply affect him. Anders was told that Pelle had come home from school earlier than usual one day. He said that he had vomited and had laid down to rest. Coincidentally, his stepmother was at home.
The woman thought Pelle looked very pale and went to him. He was unconscious and had no pulse. She was a nurse and she knew immediately that he was serious. She gave him CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation until the ambulance arrived. They rushed Pelle to the hospital. They cut open his abdomen and what they saw shocked them... Pelle's spleen had ruptured! From there he was transferred to another hospital but this time the doctors started cutting in the wrong place. This caused Pelle to have a permanent injury. Afterwards Pelle's heart stopped and he technically died. However, after a long struggle he was revived. He was revived in his hospital room. But this trauma and severe injury left him with permanent damage. This damage was Cotard's syndrome... People with this syndrome believe that they are dead and do not exist. They see visions of their bodies and internal organs rotting and their blood freezing. Pelle was one of these people and for this reason he was given the nickname 'Dead'. At the time it was not known that he had this syndrome and he had to stay in the hospital for several days due to his injury. At first, Pelle didn't want to talk about the incident. He made up a lie that he had an accident while skating and hit his elbow in the stomach. He told a few friends that he had eaten poisonous mushrooms. But it didn't take long for his lie to be revealed and the truth to be learned. Pelle had been beaten so badly and brutally by a group of boys that his spleen had ruptured. Pelle had been beaten to death by his peers when he was still that age...
Counselors were consulted at school to find the best solution. But the school didn't accept the crime and it was decided that Pelle would change schools. After halfway through the fall semester of his seventh grade year, he started at Tungelsta School, just south of Västerhaninge. There, he got straight into a good class and met a group of friends who shared his interest in music. When he was only 14 or 15 years old, he came home one day and told them that he had started a band. His parents were surprised because he didn't play any instruments. He had played guitar for a while but soon quit. He initially played bass in the band but eventually chose to be the vocalist. His bandmates were more or less the same age as him or younger. Since Pelle was the driving force of the band, one of the members suggested changing the name of the band to Ohlin Metal.
While walking around Västerhaninge and spray painting he made a logo for the band. His father found it on the train platform and immediately knew it was Pelle because both Ohlin and Metal were there. He was waiting with his neighbors and said he had embarrassed himself.
Just a few months after he was nearly beaten to death at school, he performed on the field with his band, wearing his own surname. It was typical of Pelle not to associate bullying with his personality. He didn't think it was his problem. Someone else had a problem with him and he couldn't do anything about it. Then he came to a new school and was in the same place again. He still had an agenda and clung to it. He also felt a great deal of resentment at the event.
Pelle was now incredibly scared and paranoid. He started watching a lot of kung-fu movies and practicing aikido. But maybe it was his father who convinced him to do it. So his father put him on this path. In fact, he was trying to be appreciated in this way. His interest in music and horror began to take up more and more of Pelle's time. While the rest of the family were on holiday in Gotland, he filled half the room with cobwebs he had bought from Butterick's.
His mother said, 'What is this place?!' His younger brother Anders was extremely afraid of the dark and didn't want to sleep there... As his grades changed and his parents became desperate, Pelle grew his hair long. His fascination with the sickly grew deeper. One day, Anders searched the pockets of Pelle's denim jacket to hunt for candy and found a dead frog.
His interest in war, which had existed since his childhood but was most evident in his bomber drawings, reached new levels. Pelle volunteered for officer training thinking he would learn to shoot a machine gun. However, after the first day, which was devoted entirely to orientation, he jumped in anger. The officers who stood up and shouted did not suit him at all. He was very passive. He was seen as surprisingly calm, a little lethargic.
Ohlin Metal was progressing more or less, but the band members did not contribute to the band and the band broke up. In the meantime, he met Mats and Anders, two brothers from Jordan. In 1985, Pelle formed the band Scapegoat (Armageddon) with Mats (Slator). However, they needed a guitarist. The person they were looking for was Gehenna. They knew him from the record store Heavy Sound in Stockholm. Now there were three of them. They were composing new material. However, they did not have a drummer. The band took the name Morbid in 1986. Pelle was the vocalist, Gehenna (John Hagström) was the guitarist, Skator (Mats) was the bassist. A friend of Gehenna was also the drummer. A few months later, Klacke joined the band as the second guitarist. Dr. Schitz (Jens Näsström) replaced Slator. Torbjörn Gräslund replaced Klacke. Torbjörn Gräslund was also the composer of many songs. Drutt took over as the drummer shortly after. The band made many recordings during this time and started playing gigs at places like Ultra Huset and The Birkagården. In 1987, Napoleon Pukes (Uffe Cederlund) took over as the guitarist from TG. Around this time, Pelle appeared in the music video for Candlemass's song Bewitched, alongside Morbid. In May 1987, Heavy Sound held an event to celebrate Bathory's album Sign of the Black Mark. Among the fans present was Pelle, who considered Quorthon his main idol, and signed as Dead. However, he returned with a feeling of disgust and disappointment towards Quorthon, who was disturbed by his rock star attitude.
Pelle later met with the record company to release the group demo, but the company did not respond. Finally, Sandro Mefisto was convinced and recording began at Thunderlord Studios on December 8, 1987. At the end of the 16-hour recording period, the December Moon demo was recorded. In addition, the foundations of the death metal genre were laid thanks to this demo. There were four songs in the demo. The song Disgusting Semla was about a Swedish Christmas dessert called semla. Pelle hated this dessert very much. The most striking thing in the demo was Pelle's early vocals. Pelle was already a strong death metal vocalist at this age. Pelle had crazy ideas to improve Morbid's performances, such as going on stage in a coffin provided by Cederlund's father and using World War I gas masks on stage. Pelle was a perfectionist who demanded a lot from his bandmates and could be annoying at times. He pushed himself so hard during rehearsals that he had to rest between songs. Pelle wrote lyrics that reflected his unique temperament...
In 1988, Pelle and Gehenna also left the band. Both of them set out on a new path. The same year Pelle left the band, a Norwegian band called Mayhem was also looking for a new lead singer. They put out an advert for this. There was a network of letters between bands and fans in Scandinavia. Pelle contacted Euronymous and Necrobutcher for a while. In this way, he heard that the band was looking for a lead singer and started listening to the band's first EP, Deathcrush. He was fascinated by the band's dark image... He immediately sent the band a package. The package was received by the band's guitarist and founding leader Euronymous (Øystein Aaresth). Inside the package was a tape with Pelle's voice recording, a note and a dead rat on a cross. The band members were amazed by Pelle's dark mentality and his deep, harsh voice for his age. They eventually decided to include him in the band. They dropped the mouse and the tape from the car, but managed to save a note with Pelle's contact information. They reached out to Pelle and invited him to Norway for an audition. Pelle packed up his comics, stage clothes, fake blood, and all his other belongings and moved from Sweden to Norway. There, he suffered from food, shelter, and poverty. Pelle lived on free spaghetti with ketchup and what Mayhem managed to steal from the local grocery truck. In early 1988, Dead became Mayhem's new lead singer. The band began looking for a new drummer. They advertised in magazines and fanzines using Pelle's stage blood, which he had brought from Sweden. A few months later, Jan Axel Blomberg, nicknamed Hellhammer, joined the band. In the summer of 1988, Pelle attended a concert by his former band Morbid as a member of the audience. In the same year, Mayhem's equipment was stolen and they began looking for a new place. They stayed for a while in a mountain house with no water or electricity. They received financial support from the Norwegian government through a social assistance program.
For concerts, Dead went to great lengths to achieve the image and atmosphere he wanted. From the beginning of his career, he used 'corpse paint', which involved covering his face with black and white make-up. This had nothing to do with the way Kiss and Alice Cooper used make-up. Pelle actually wanted to look like a corpse. He didn't do it to look cool. To complete his corpse-like image, Dead would bury his stage clothes weeks before the concert and wear them on the night of the concert so they could start to decompose and smell like the grave. He was a corpse on stage. On one occasion, he even asked his bandmates to bury him in the ground. He wanted his skin to be pale... During a tour with Mayhem, Dead found a dead crow and kept it in a bag. He would often carry it around with him and sing "with the smell of death in his nostrils" as he sniffed the bird before going on stage. He would also collect dead geese and keep them under his bed. Dead would cut himself while singing on stage. On February 3, 1990, during a concert in Jessheim, he cut his arm with a broken Coke bottle. He would cut his arm with a razor blade, cutting it deep into his skin. He would not eat for long periods of time so that his veins would stand out and his wounds would show. He would almost starve to death. He would wear T-shirts with funeral announcements on them. He had visions of his blood freezing in his veins. Pelle disliked technology. He would only write letters to himself or others by hand, and he never used a personal computer. He rejected technology altogether, finding refuge in a world of forests and woodlands. He would often go into the woods for inspiration. Like many poets and existential philosophers, Pelle detested modern man's relationship with technology. He believed that technology was dulling people's senses and extrasensory abilities.
Instead, he fed his soul and inner life on Eastern European mythes. Pelle collected Romanian postage stamps and dreamed of traveling beyond Scandinavia. Pelle's thirst for knowledge was indeed as strong as his "Transylvanian Hunger." He wrote, "My goal in life is to visit Transylvania and Moldova and learn all about the mythes there, which are rarely known in the West." Pelle made lists of obscure texts he hoped to find. (The Ohlin family received phone calls from booksellers asking for Pelle for years after his death.) Dead had an unusual interest in porphyria because of its connection to the mythology of vampirism. He was obsessed with Transylvania and vampires. He searched for occult texts and real-life vampires. He also fantasized about living with vampires and even offering his own blood to them. He was determined to devote his entire life to the supernatural. He was deeply interested in werewolves and sought out the famous flowers. Pelle also expressed his fascination with the occult in his letters. He even stated that his great-grandmother had previously practiced white magic. Dead stated that he had previously tried to cast a spell on himself and performed his own rituals, especially in order to better understand his near-death experience, but his practices were ultimately unsuccessful. He sought out sects and sorcerers to better understand this out-of-body astral travel he was experiencing and to learn the purpose of his resumption into the world. And he succeeded: But he wanted to learn more. He wanted to go beyond physics, to push the limits of man and go beyond. That's why he turned his route to satanic sects and covens. He had a dark mysticism and an uncontrollable curiosity and passion for the mysterious and the morbid. Pelle also hated cats more than anything. But contrary to the common collective belief, he never killed any of them in his life. One night, while he was sleeping in his house in the forest, he heard cat sounds outside and Pelle ran out half-naked and with a knife in his hand towards the sound. What followed was a ton of screaming and noise... But "unfortunately" Pelle had failed in his hunt... Beyond hatred for cats, he had a paranoid fear of them. He hated hamsters almost as much. He had even put one in the microwave before. But he hated humans the most because they always hurt him.
Pelle spent most of his time writing letters and drawing. He would sit in his room and become increasingly depressed. He was extremely shy, withdrawn and melancholic. His poetic lyrics also came from this melancholy and severe depression. Pelle was originally a friendly, fun, funny and cheerful person in Sweden. On the contrary to being quiet, he was even a bit cheeky and talkative. But when he arrived in Norway, he fell into a deep depression. Sweden was cold. But Norway was much colder and gloomier. This freezing, dark and gloomy weather had a very negative effect on Pelle's mood. He knew very little Norwegian and spoke mostly English or a little Norwegian to his bandmates. Not being able to speak his native language only increased his sense of loneliness. His family and friends were not around either. He could not get along with anyone in the band except for Jørn, and they even argued constantly. Pelle spent most of his time writing letters or drawing. He just sat in his room and became increasingly depressed. Dead (Pelle), Euronymous (Øystein) and Hellhammer (Jan Axel) lived in a house in the forest near Kråkstad, which was used as a place for the band to rehearse. Pelle and Øystein hated each other and fought constantly. Once, Øystein started playing synth music that Pelle hated, so Pelle went into the forest to sleep. Øystein followed him and started shooting a shotgun in the air to make him even angrier. Pelle threw a large rock at him, wounding his chest. Rumor has it that he even stabbed him once... Pelle had thicker walls around him now. Outsiders saw him as emotionless, cold and mentally unstable. He barely spoke and acted strangely all the time. But in reality, Pelle had been suffering intensely and silently for years. Øystein was fueling this suffering with his physical and psychological torture. And he was doing it knowingly. His aim was to make Pelle's illness worse rather than cure it, and to make the band more interesting and gain fame and money. He had secretly exploited his condition for years.
Pelle visited his home in Sweden for the last time over the Christmas holidays in 1990. In 1991, Pelle's father tried to persuade Pelle to return home, and even studied art school brochures with his son. At that point, Pelle himself wanted to return to Sweden for good. Pelle had previously planned a reunion concert with Morbid on September 9, 1989. They had hoped to record an EP. Unfortunately, this never happened.
By 1991, tensions between Pelle and Øystein had risen. They were both barely holding on to each other. Pelle became more self-destructive. He began to oversleep and deliberately starve himself. As Mayhem’s financial situation worsened, Pelle’s mental and emotional health was also deteriorating. His father used to send him money from Sweden, but when he found out that Pelle was using the money to send demos instead of meeting his basic needs, he stopped sending money. He had reached a point where he could no longer get along with anyone in the band. It seemed that Mayhem was finally over. He wanted to pursue an artistic career in Sweden and reunite the disbanded Morbid roster. Pelle hated Norway and dreamed of leaving the country. Or better yet, escape Scandinavia altogether and make a life in Transylvania, Greenland or Iceland. He was in love with Transylvania. Moreover, he wanted to travel, he had written that he wanted to visit Italy and many other places, and that he wanted to become a comic book artist. In other words, he was making plans... He wanted to go to art school and university... He wanted to be a professional designer or comic book artist... He wanted to go to university and take art and music lessons... He wanted to go back to Sweden, to Morbid...
However, in March and April, he went through a major and difficult depressive episode due to Cotard's syndrome. Euronymous and Hellhammer (Axel) were with their relatives. The only person he could get along with in Mayhem, Necrobuthcer (Jørn), was with his pregnant girlfriend. Pelle thought that Morbid and his dreams of an art career would also end in failure. He was completely hopeless and lonely.
In April 1991, alone in their house in the forest, he decided to end everything. Euronymous was in his own record company. He knew that Pelle would commit suicide. That's exactly why he left him alone. Everything was for the band's fame. From the very beginning, he constantly encouraged Pelle to commit suicide. Finally, he left her alone in the mountain house with a shotgun, hoping that she would commit suicide.
Pelle was in his room and had lost all hope for life. All his dreams had been slaughtered one by one and his soul had been crushed. All he needed to overcome his illness and return to normal was a little attention, love and compassion. But he had seen none of that... He took a half-blunt knife from the table. First he cut his wrists... Then his throat...
Then he sat down at his desk and decided to write a suicide note: "Excuse the blood, but I just cut my wrists and neck... I was actually planning on dying in the woods so it would take a few days to find me. I belong in the woods and have always done so. No one will ever understand why. But let me explain: I am not human... This is just a dream and I will wake up soon. It was very cold and my blood was always frozen. Also, my new knife is very dull. If I can't die with the knife, I will blow everything inside my head. I still don't know. I left all the lyrics to "Let the Good Times Roll" - plus the rest of the money. Whoever finds this gets the damn thing. Finally, I would like to present "Life Eternal". Do whatever you want with the damn thing.
Pelle
I found this 17 years ago, not now... (Death/suicide)
A dream of another existence... You wish to die... A dream of another world... You pray for death... To release the soul one must die... To find peace inside you must get eternal... I am a mortal, but am I human? How beautiful life is now when my time has come... A human destiny, but nothing human inside! What will be left of me when I'm dead? There was nothing when I lived... What you found was eternal death... No one will ever miss you..."
He wrote his famous suicide note and took the shotgun from the wall... He sat on his bed and pointed the shotgun at his own forehead. Then he pulled the trigger... Pelle Ohlin took his own life on April 8, 1991 at the age of 22... And even more heartbreaking was that Pelle had been accepted to college... But his father, who had enrolled him in college, was too late to give him this surprising news...

MY DARK SUBCONSCIOUS:
Beyond of death, of darkness A land beyond of sure Dark is it′s sky, dark as my hatred Several times seen it Because of death that brings them close Memories from my past time Aymen! I see the sorcerer Impossible to cure My dark subconscious The dark memories of Alhazred, book of the dead I live in the unknown The world's gone In my mind the horror lives Death from the past times Aymen Ishtar, who live in the night, open the gates to me Ishtar, maid in black, before the gates Ishtar, it′s hard to get by, open the gates to me Ishtar, opening it to all, even avoiding this Impossible to cure My dark subconscious The dark memories of Alhazred, book of the dead
WINGS OF FUNERAL: Night Sky Spread your wings I am about to fly Wings of funeral
The curse of the old cemetery I should of known death always gets me
Terror of the church of death Satan will be possessing my death
Sorcery, the wish to die Wings of death, wings of funeral The curse of the old cemetery Necromantic is beyond Wings of funeral
Terror of the church of death Satan will be possessing my death
FROM THE DARK: He stood there so many times Funerals get orgasm from my soul From the funeral... from the past... from the dark The cross... a necromancer's cross By night will strike me... i die
Ha.. huhahah.. I've died
He steps out from the dark Cold smoke as he passes by I tried to ignore it in the dark Cold smoke as he passes by, I die!
From the death... from the grave... from the dark
That night, by his crime, hatred, guess of death For his sin
From the grave.... I decay now.... from the dark
DISGUSTING SEMLA: Are you all disgusted?! Life of trash Trash of the dead What the fuck is? Bun with cream and paste Are you all disgusted?! Disgusted! Disgusted! Disgusted! Disgusted! (And Pelle starts to sing 'lalala la la' part)
FUNERAL FOG: Every time this year, this dark fog will appear Up from the tombs it comes to take one more life that can be near In the middle of Transylvania, all natural life has for a long time ago gone It's thin and so beautiful but also so dark and mysterious
Once again the priest is messing, may the god bless us all The fog is here again that will complete this funeral From a place empty of life, only dead trees are growing here As it comes from afar, only dead trees are growing here
Funeral fog Funeral fog
Funeral fog Funeral fog
THE FREEZING MOON: Everything here is so cold Everything here is so dark I remember it as from a dream In the corner of this time
Diabolic shapes float by Out from the dark I remember it was here I died By following the freezing moon
It's night again, night you beautiful I please my hunger on living humans Night of hunger, follow its call Follow the freezing moon
Darkness is growing, eternity opens The cemetery lights up again as in ancient times Fallen souls die behind my steps By following the freezing moon
CURSED IN ETERNITY: My name was written with fire In the place you only can see When your time has come When you walk down in the land of shadows for eternity
The demon flies in the blackened starless skies And crawls in the bottomless depths of hell The name which will be a thousand times cursed in eternity
The demon flies in the blackened starless skies And crawls in the bottomless depths of hell Condemned to wander, until it comes To the cruelest snake that crawls
PAGAN FEARS: The bloody history from the past Deceased humans now forgotten An age of legends and fear A time now so distant
Less numbered as they were Their lives so primitive and pagan Superstitions were a part of the life So unprotected in the dark nights
Pagan fears The past is alive The past is alive
Woeful people with pale faces Staring obsessed at the moon Some memories will never go away And they will forever be here
LIFE ETERNAL (PELLE'S FAV SONG HE WROTE): A dream of another existence You wish to die A dream of another world You pray for death
To release the soul one must die To find peace inside you must get eternal!
I am a mortal, but am I human? How beautiful life is now when my time has come A human destiny, but nothing human inside What will be left of me when I'm dead? There was nothing when I lived
What you found was eternal death No one will ever miss you
FROM THE DARK PAST: A face in stone... decayed by age A man who has returned to tell of his damnation Fears so deep, the mouth open wide The dream died away before dawn of this time
Ancient times legends stories so dark Blackened his sight Now not even the memories are left Back after such a long time The stone is cold as death But what formed its true fears Only the wind is able to tell
Tell me - what did you see there In the darkness - of the past
The eyes - stares so empty The mouth - screams so silent
Tell me - what did you see there In the darkness - of the past
BURIED BY TIME AND DUST: Visions of that no morning's light ever will come I'm too old now, the dark is so near Will I ever reach the land beyond? This is where we go when we have to die
I've been old since the birth of time, time buried me in earth Centuries ago, I tasted blood, buried by time and dust Many years has pasted since the funeral missing the blood of human throats So many years, ages ago, I must await, feel my bodies stench
Wanderings out of space, wandering out of time A world out of light, death at the end Only silence can be heard, silence of peoples' tears No one knows my grave buried by time and dust

Pelle Ohlin was sitting on a sidewalk of a street after the concert that night. He was looking at his right arm, which was covered in cuts and duct tape he had cut during the show. He had lost control of himself during the concert and cut his arm by a razor.
Now he was looking at his injured arm. He was lost in different thoughts. This time, there was a hint of regret and despair in his eyes. He wanted to leave Mayhem. Maybe he could come back to Sweden. He looked at his arm again and closed his eyes. He sighed deeply and buried his head in his knees.
(He will speak in Swedish with his mother, father and siblings, and friends from Sweden. The story text will be in English, but their sentences will be in Swedish. Like that: (Pelle looked at his sister and spoke: "Jag saknar dig...") It will be like this.
