- #1Average Moonian
Keys: moonians, moonian
Enabled
Entry settings
Due to the Moon's pro-Technocrat history, the average Moonian is generally biased towards Technocrat ideology. Moonians tend to support strict parenting and strict education standards, and there's a general ideology that the youth should always respect their elders no matter what. Because of their strict upbringing, the average Moonian can come off as stoic and humorless to most people. Ironically enough, Moonians tend to have a rather outlandish and strange sense of humor.
- #2Liliang
Keys: liliangs, liliang

Liliang is the highest populated country on the moon. People from the nation of Liliang are referred to as Liliangs. While Liliang wasn't the first nation to be built on the moon, it quickly became the most prosperous and successful nation of the Moon. When the war between Technocrats and Naturists broke out in 2200, the people and government of Liliang heavily sided with the Technocrats, and when the Naturists lost in 2201, Liliang was the harshest when it came to punishing Naturists, and harsh laws against spreading Naturist ideology were put into place.
For a long time, Liliang was the most pro-Technocrat country in all of the galaxy, and even though it's no longer illegal to spread Naturist ideology, this long history of forced Technocrat ideology has had a strong impact on it's citizens. Liliang is one of the least religious nations in the galaxy, gene editing occurs with almost every pregnancy, and synthetic drugs are popular with the people.
Liliangs are by nature the most stereotypical in terms of Moonian people. The average Liliang firmly believes in strict parenting, to the point where corporal punishment is common and socially acceptable. There is a strong "the nail that sticks out gets hammered down" ideology when it comes to socialization, and Liliangs who struggle with fitting in with the culture are usually destined for a life of ostracization with next to no support.
Education and work culture are also extremely strict, to the point where staying home for illness is frowned down upon, and teachers/bosses are generally allowed to treat their students/employees however they want, which often leads to abusive behavior.
Despite this difficult culture, Liliangs are quite proud of their nation, and their diligent work effort has led to many advancements in medicine and technology. Many people from outside Liliang and the Moon generally view the country Liliang and it's people with great respect, but are also thankful that they were never born there.
- #3Xinjia
Keys: xinjia, xinjian, xinjians

Entry settings
Xinjia is the second most populated country on the moon. People from the nation of Xinjia are referred to as Xinjians. Xinjia was the first nation to be built on the moon, but this tends to be forgotten about due to how much more successful Liliang became (something that Xinjians are endlessly bitter about). Xinjia is notable for being the one nation on the moon that didn't make Naturist ideology illegal after 2201. Naturists were still heavily persecuted against, but Xinjia did provide itself as somewhat of a safe haven to Naturists desperate to avoid punishment from other countries.
It's because of this willingness to tolerate Naturist ideology that Xinjia was a major factor in other nations on the Moon dropping their anti-Naturist laws and becoming more accepting of the ideology. Granted, the average Xinjian generally identifies with Technocrat ideology, but since there's always been a culture of Naturists in the country, neither ideology has left a particular strong impact on the average Xinjian.
Xinjians are notable in that they aren't as strict or rigorous as many other Moonian nations are. They still believe in hard work, but they simply strongly disagree with the notion that work shouldn't be enjoyable. It's because of this attitude that schools and work places in Xinjia tend to have a more easygoing nature to them compared to other nations on the Moon. It's not uncommon for people from other nations on the Moon to move to Xinjia after their stricter cultures severely affected their physical/mental health.
Xinjia is generally seen as the ideal vacation destination on the Moon, and people visiting the Moon from other galactic bodies will usually visit Xinjia. Being a popular tourist destination has been both a blessing and a curse for the Xinjians, as while tourism has boosted their economy greatly, there's a growing number of Xinjians who wish their nation had more relevance beyond being a vacation destination, especially when compared to Liliang and all of Liliang's technological achievements.

Kanpeki is the wealthiest country on the moon. People from the nation of Kanpeki are referred to as Kanpekins. Kanpeki is one of the more recent nations on the moon, as it didn't officially break away from Liliang and become it's own nation until 2500. Since Kanpeki was originally part of Liliang, it shares some cultural values with Liliang,
Kanpeki was originally a large domestic where all the wealthy elites and corporation owners lived. The elites were generally fine with being a part of Liliang until the government of Liliang began to impose laws restricting corporate monopolies. This deeply upset the elites who loved their crony capitalism, so they decided to secede from Liliang, create the country of Kanpeki, and move all their main corporate offices out of Liliang and into the newly created country.
Over the years, the various monopolies that created the culture of Kanpeki ended up breaking apart due to differences in ideology that ranged from minor to major. This lead to the creation of many, many different family groups based off of all the individual corporations that the citizens of Kanpeki owned that aren't all that dissimilar from 20th century mafia groups. Family groups even began to use extensive gene editing to give themselves distinctive appearances that show which family group they're born into. Every citizen of Kanpeki is born into one of these family groups and the relationships between each group varies and changes greatly. It's not uncommon for two groups to get along one day and despise each other the next.
Because of how volatile all family groups can be, murders that are painted up as "sudden deaths" and "suicide" are not uncommon in Kanpeki, and the country's extreme Anarcho-Capatalist politics are rife with bribery, backstabbing, conspiracies much more of the corporate world's seedy underbelly. It doesn't help that every family group member is easily identifiable thanks to all of them using extensive gene editing to give themselves a distinctive appearance that they feel best represents their corporations.
This, along with the a strict upbringing that makes growing up in Liliang look easy means that the average Kanpekin youth lead a highly stressful life. Because the average Kanpekin youth is both extremely wealthy and extremely stressed out, Kanpeki has become infamous for the outrageous and perverted leisure its younger citizens seek out. Every night in Kanpeki has its homes bursting with lavish, extravagant, and degenerate parties that are filled with orgies, drugs, and behavior that would be seen as immoral in almost every other nation and galactic body out there.
While the majority of Kanpeki's citizens are wealthy members of corporate families, there is a sizeable population of citizens who live in poverty and work the lower class jobs that none of the wealthy elites of Kanpeki want to do. The Kanpekins who end up in poverty usually do so by pissing off the wrong people and getting their reputations ruined as a result.
Outside of people from other nations on the moon coming to make business deals and drug dealers making sales, Kanpeki gets little to no visitors and the Kanpekins are more than happy with that. After all, tourism would mean having to deal with the non-elites, and no elite of Kanpeki wants to deal with that.
