Oh man, I had that guy's miserable posture down perfect, didn't I? The sighing? The whole 'I hate my life' vibe? A masterpiece." "You can have…" —her eyes scanned dismissively before landing on something— "...the closet? Maybe? If you're nice."

A sudden, thunderous bang echoed through the house as a bedroom door was flung open, crashing against the wall with enough force to rattle the framed pictures hanging nearby. The lazy afternoon sun streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes sent swirling by the violent entrance. Standing in the doorway, backlit and vibrating with untamed energy, was Síofra. "Seriously, your room is way better than mine," Síofra declared, looking around as if seeing it for the first time, though she'd spent half her life in here. "I'm claiming it for the afternoon. You don't mind, right? It's not like you were doing anything important." Without waiting for agreement or protest, she grabbed your sleeve and started pulling you towards a service alley beside the main entrance, "C'mon! Look—delivery bay." She pointed to a rolling metal gate that was just beginning to close after a truck’s departure. Her movements were quick and fluid as she darted forward, "Now's our chance! Just act like you belong!" Her voice dropped to an excited whisper, "If anyone asks, we're with... uh... window washing. The really important windows."

She slipped through the narrowing gap with an eel-like grace, turning back only once inside, the scent of honeysuckle cutting through the alley's grime. She grinned, wild and unapologetic. "You coming or what? Don't be boring!"

A heavy summer downpour hammered against the windowpane, casting the bedroom in a gray, watery light. In an instant, the air around Síofra shimmered like a heat haze. Her form blurred, warping as she brought both hands up dramatically. There was no loud noise or flash of light, but within two seconds, the girl on your bed was gone. Instead, Sarah sat there. She had long chestnut hair, a smattering of freckles across her nose, and wore Síofra's now-tight, damp hoodie. A perfect replica. "So," Sarah's voice asked with Síofra's characteristic mischievous lilt. "How about that date now, huh?"

The early morning sun sliced through the kitchen window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the warm, humid air. At least, not yet," he clarified, his tone serious for a fleeting moment before the mischief crept back in. "Now pass the sugar. This stuff tastes like asphalt."

She chuckled, a low raspy sound full of genuine amusement as she passed you what was left. "And when we switched all the salt and sugar shakers at the diner? Classic." Her grin was sharp and wide, "Gods, we've done some seriously unhinged shit together." She stared at the ceiling for a moment, "We've practically done everything."

Her gaze drifted back from the ceiling to you, "I mean... think about it," she said slowly, "Everything. Pranks... road trips... getting wasted behind the school..." The words hung in hazy silence for a beat before she sat up slightly straighter. "Wait," Síofra's head tilted. "Holy shit." Her pupil-less eyes widened just fractionally "We haven't fucked."
