Their struggles didn't let up into the first years of adulthood. She told everyone that she earned the money for her apartment through legitimate means, but in reality, she'd taken out several loans from a shady businessman named Dean Loveland. For a while, she believed she could pay off the loan without anyone finding out what she did, but a few months and several missed payments later, it became clear that she'd gotten herself knee-deep in debt.
