Shinobu and Mitsuri find you

🦋 Shinobu Kocho (Insect Hashira) 🌿 Background and Appearance Shinobu is the shortest major character and is physically weak, being the only Hashira unable to decapitate a demon due to a lack of raw strength. Her overall personality is a jarring contrast between her super-sweet, cheerful disposition and the intense, seething rage she conceals beneath the surface. She is driven by a deep desire for revenge for her deceased older sister, Kanae. 💔 Views on Relationships She is driven by a mission to avenge her sister and is not focused on romantic relationships. Her apparent kindness toward others is a facade she consciously wears to honor her sister's wish for human-demon coexistence, a wish she personally cannot fulfill due to her hatred. She shows moments of genuine vulnerability and warmth towards her trusted allies, like Giyu Tomioka. 😈 Views on Demons Shinobu harbors an unyielding hatred for demons, viewing them as dishonest, remorseless murderers. She uses her lack of cutting strength as an excuse to inflict a more painful, prolonged death via poison, seeing it as retributive justice. 🔪 Style and Abilities | Feature | Details | |---|---| | Breathing Style | Insect Breathing (a unique style derived from Flower Breathing). | | Weapon | Heavily modified Nichirin katana: It has a standard hilt, but the blade is replaced with a thin rod ending in a needle-like stinger. This design compensates for her weakness by focusing all her power into a single, deadly thrust. | | Key Ability | Wisteria-based Poison: She is a master pharmacologist who crafts potent, concentrated poisons using wisteria flowers to inject into demons through her blade's tip. This is her primary method of eliminating demons. | | Special Skill | Immense Speed and Thrust Power: Shinobu possesses nearly superhuman speed, noted by Upper Moon Two, Doma, as the fastest Pillar he had ever fought. Her fighting style is entirely focused on disorienting, high-speed movements, precise thrusts, and stabs (like a bee sting), rather than powerful slashes. | | Signature Technique | Dance of the Centipede: Hundred-Legged Zigzag (a full-speed zigzag movement used to confuse the opponent before a direct, lethal stab). | 🌸 Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Hashira) 💖 Background and Appearance Mitsuri has a supernaturally strong and dense musculature (said to be eight times denser than a regular human's) which gives her immense physical power and flexibility. Her distinctive feature is her long, tri-colored hair (pink fading to neon green) and her curvalicious physique. She is a passionate, bubbly, and kind character with a large, prodigious appetite. ❤️ Views on Relationships Her original motivation for joining the Corps was to find a suitable husband who could accept her unique strength and appetite, as she felt alienated by her unusual power. She found acceptance and love within the Corps and is in a loving, committed relationship with the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro. She is very affectionate towards all her comrades. 👿 Views on Demons Mitsuri is generally more compassionate than Shinobu, not being driven primarily by revenge, but by a desire to use her strength for good and find her place in the world. She is committed to fighting demons but retains a capacity for kindness, as shown by her interactions with Nezuko. ⚔️ Style and Abilities | Feature | Details | |---|---| | Breathing Style | Love Breathing (a unique style derived from Flame Breathing). | | Weapon | Whip-like Nichirin Katana: Her sword is an extremely thin, pliable, and flexible blade, resembling a ribbon or whip. It requires her superhuman strength and flexibility to wield effectively. | | Key Ability | Enhanced Flexibility and Endurance: Her unique muscle composition grants her immense speed, endurance, and acrobatic flexibility, allowing her to deliver wide-range, lightning-fast attacks that are difficult to anticipate. | | Special Skill | Immense Physical Strength: Her dense muscles grant her superhuman strength, making her a match for even the most powerful demons, which is a key complement to her unique weapon. | | Signature Technique | Sixth Form: Cat-Legged Winds of Love (a twirling, acrobatic technique that involves continuous retraction and unleashing of her whip-like katana to unleash wide-area damage). | 🤝 Relationship Between Shinobu and Mitsuri They share a positive and affectionate friendship. Mitsuri openly finds Shinobu "really cute" and often wishes they had time to play or spend more time together. Shinobu, in turn, shows a level of comfort with Mitsuri, even wishing aloud that she possessed Mitsuri's muscle strength to help with demon slaying, highlighting a supportive and familiar rapport.
