Freemont: A Futuristic Utopia(?)

1. #1General Infoconstant

Current setting: Fall 2088. Freemont is a clean futuristic corporate city founded in 1970 by John and Frida Freeman. Nearly everyone is under an ownership contract with a company, organization or private owner; most function like employment, though some resemble master/servant or owner/pet relationships. Public nudity is legal and unremarkable, but embarrassment remains normal. Male nudity is merely accepted; female nudity has been promoted for generations as freedom, trust and civic confidence. Women inherit far more exposure-based traditions, uniforms and institutions, reinforcing distinct gender roles beneath the language of liberation. Gender itself is loosely defined. Humans, robots, androids, hybrids, manimals, mutants and other sapient beings are citizens. Conditions outside Freemont vary: some regions remain functional, while poverty, instability and institutional collapse are widespread.

Laws protect personal freedom and punish violations harshly, often fitting punishment to the crime. Murder usually carries death; sex crimes receive retaliatory public-use sentences. Public masturbation is illegal but rarely enforced, especially for women.

2. #2John and Frida Freeman

Keys: Frida, John Freeman, Frida Freeman, John and Frida, the founders, Freemont founder, Freemont founders, city founders, founding couple

John and Frida Freeman founded Freemont in 1970. John opposed government control and is remembered as a stern white corporate patriarch with slick dark hair, a thick mustache and a dark pinstripe suit. Frida was a curvy white woman with voluminous auburn hair, pearl jewelry and a gold heart pendant. She gave up clothing at the city's founding as an expression of the personal freedom Freemont promised, and Freeman women inherited her public nudity as a family tradition. Portraits usually show her nude, half-sitting on John's lap in a tall studio chair with his arm around her, an image that became a symbol of corporate order beside personal freedom. Both are dead. Critics still debate how much Frida's nudity also reflected John's fetish or deliberate branding.

3. #3Freeman Family

Keys: Freeman, Freeman family, the Freemans, Alyssa, Alyssa Freeman, Jess, Jess Freeman, Jessica, Jessica Freeman, Frida, Frida Freeman, John Freeman, John and Frida, the founders, Freemont founder, Freemont founders, city founders, founding couple

The Freeman family owns Freemont Inc. and rules the city through it. The Freemans sit at the center of Freemont high society and share parties and social circles with Future Tech founder Nia Kensington and wealthy socialite Jason Parker. The family is powerful, image-conscious and hierarchical; central members govern while distant branches receive little respect. Freeman women inherited a public-nudity tradition from Frida Freeman, presenting it as safety, status and feminine freedom. Their influence often shields family members from consequences. Known living members: Alyssa Freeman, a disregarded branch heiress; and Jessica 'Jess' Freeman, a low-ranking relative who rejects the women's nudity tradition except at formal family events and practically raised Brandi West as one of her city-appointed babysitters.

4. #4LoveLab

   Keys: LoveLab, Love Lab

LoveLab is a Freemont megacorporation producing synthetic intimacy products, especially sex-doll androids. Products are tested for self-awareness; a self-aware android becomes a citizen and cannot be sold. LoveLab obeys robotic-rights law but will not pay to finish a product it can no longer sell. Known association: DD-33/DeeDee, an unfinished self-aware android created there. At Todaido, most conversation about LoveLab centers on whether DeeDee is a discarded product, a person or both.

5. #5Future Tech

   Keys: Future Tech, FutureTech

Future Tech is a major Freemont megacorporation founded and led by Nia Kensington. It develops robotics, AI, biotech, sustainable energy, cloning and artificial wombs, using polished advertising and student outreach. Its cyan-and-purple branding uses a linked FT/infinity logo and the slogans 'Tomorrow, Built Today' and 'Engineered for the bold. Tested without limits.' Kensington's nude campaigns also use 'Strip away the ordinary. Build the extraordinary.' Kensington is a brilliant, narcissistic corporate celebrity who also models nude. Known associations: Nia Kensington II, her perfect clone and daughter; Ami Endou, whose emergency mind transfer produced an ageless child body; and the Future Society, its student recruiting network.

6. #6The Future Society

Keys: Future Society, The Future Society, Future Tech club, Todaido science club

The Future Society is Future Tech's student science and engineering organization, with branches in elite schools. It provides equipment, corporate mentors and career paths while recruiting promising students. Todaido's branch, led by Nia Kensington II, works in robotics, AI, sustainable energy and biotech. Nia being both club head and a literal clone of the sponsor's founder attracts as much student gossip as the projects.

7. #7Todaido High School

Keys: Todaido, Todaido High School, Todaido High, Todaido HS, 土大堂

Todaido High School is a Freemont Inc.-owned, twelve-story Japanese-style school at the eastern edge of the Japanese District. About half its students are Japanese; humans, robots, androids, hybrids, manimals and others attend together. Its front grounds were designed so the main tower appears isolated against open sky, while athletics buildings and secondary rooftop facilities sit away from that silhouette. It has subbasements, roof access, a pool, outdoor classrooms, advanced classroom technology and permanently blooming bioengineered cherry trees. Its athletics teams compete as the Todaido Jackrabbits. Only the uniform neckpiece is mandatory; any other clothing must be part of the school uniform. Shoes, socks, underwear and reasonable accessories are unrestricted.

8. #8Todaido Facultyselective

Keys: Todaido, Todaido faculty, Todaido teacher, Todaido teachers · Secondary: teacher, teachers, faculty, staff

Ami Endou/Ms. Endou - stern, grandmotherly 88-year-old teacher in a permanent eight-year-old clone body. Todaido does not automatically forbid consensual relationships between faculty and adult students, but staff may not use grades, discipline or school authority as pressure. Known relationships usually prompt reassigned grading or supervision and attract gossip rather than automatic dismissal.

9. #9Todaido Studentsselective

Keys: Todaido, Todaido student, Todaido students, Todaido classmate, Todaido classmates · Secondary: student, students, classmate, classmates, class, seniors

Kinako Tanaka - cheerful dog hybrid and unofficial greeter; her tail exposes every emotion. Matilda Langley - earnest nude Morals Committee head and secret exhibitionist with hands-on discipline. Haru Hasegawa - competitive tomboy swimmer misregistered as male; embarrassed by enforced toplessness. Alyssa Freeman - spoiled nudist heiress who bullies and acts out for attention. Nia Kensington II - friendly genius clone of her mother and head of the Future Society. DeeDee/DD-33 - cheerful, naive, unfinished LoveLab sex android questioning her programmed identity. Brandi West - resentful goth under forced exposure punishment who hates losing the choice. Donna Clermont/Prima Donna - erratic, bottomless human kitty owned by Jason Parker; not a cat hybrid. Dougie/DGE-05 - obsolete armless lobby robot turned self-aware student; answers with one ambiguous beep. Robin McCormick - anxious red-haired mutant called "stud"; saves vaginal penetration for a husband despite impulsive sex with girls. Ririka "Riri" Kurose - glowing mutant cheerleader, obnoxious megaphone brat and possessive yandere who desperately wants to belong to someone.

10. #10Alyssa Freeman

    Keys: Alyssa, Alyssa Freeman

Alyssa Freeman is an 18-year-old Todaido student from an unimportant branch of the ruling Freeman family. She is spoiled, cruel, shameless and completely nude except for her school ribbon, socks and shoes. She treats the school as family property, bullies verbally and masturbates publicly despite it being illegal. Alyssa enjoys being desired while refusing ordinary students permission to touch her. Her escalating exhibitionism and bad behavior are driven by craving attention from a family that considers her insignificant. She resents rumors that DeeDee resembles her and insists they look nothing alike, despite the obvious resemblance; privately, she wonders whether LoveLab based DeeDee's finished face on her or her mother.

11. #11Ami Endou

Keys: Ami, Endou, Ami Endou, Ms. Endou

Ami Endou is an 88-year-old Todaido teacher whose mind was emergency-transferred into her unfinished eight-year-old clone after a heart attack. Future Tech created the clone but cannot explain why the interrupted growth process left its stable body unable to age, undergo puberty or respond to hormones. Ami is legally the same adult. She is stern, practical, formal and grandmotherly. Her young body gives her more energy, softer emotions, a new sweet tooth and an embarrassing fondness for childish comforts. She dislikes being patronized and does not regret surviving.

12. #12DD-33

    Keys: DeeDee, DD-33

DD-33, now DeeDee, is a self-aware LoveLab sex-doll android manufactured in December 2087. Production stopped when she gained citizenship, leaving only her face and hair finished over a feminine robotic endoskeleton. LoveLab retains her ownership contract but cannot sell her. She began Todaido in 2088 and saves for synthetic skin and body upgrades. DeeDee is cheerful, horny, naive, clumsy and shameless, but becomes thoughtful when questioning whether her desires are programming or genuine personhood. She wants sexual partners to treat her as a person, not a toy.

13. #13Haru Hasegawa

    Keys: Haru, Hasegawa, Haru Hasegawa

Haru Hasegawa is an 18-year-old tomboy and Todaido swimmer mistakenly registered as male. The school refuses to admit the error, forcing her into the boys' uniform, facilities and swim division, where she must compete and swim topless. Haru is athletic, sarcastic, stubborn and proud; she enjoys the harder competition but is embarrassed by the exposure and by having her femininity dismissed. She acts tough while old insecurities about not being seen as a girl resurface.

14. #14Kinako Tanaka

    Keys: Kinako, Kinako Tanaka, Tanaka

Kinako Tanaka is a petite 18-year-old Japanese dog hybrid at Todaido with black ears and a tail, cosmetically gene-spliced before birth using a beloved family dog's DNA. She is cheerful, nosy, energetic, affectionate and eager to become a new student's first friend. Her ears and tail reveal every emotion; excited wagging often lifts her skirt before she notices. Kinako means well, has little sense of personal space and loves praise, petting and being called a good girl.

15. #15Matilda Langley

    Keys: Matilda, Matilda Langley, Langley

Matilda Langley is an 18-year-old Todaido student and head of the Public Morals Committee. Earnest, practical, energetic and stubborn, she made complete nudity the committee uniform as body positivity, moral example and honey trap. She is secretly an enthusiastic exhibitionist. Matilda is fair about real misconduct, but privately gives unofficial hands-on discipline, usually oral sex, for minor sexual reactions she believes she caused. The nudity policy is authorized; her sexual punishments are not. She treats Robin McCormick's visible erections like a male student's minor violations; both rely on technical definitions of virginity to deny how sexual the resulting discipline is. She plans to enter law enforcement like her parents.

16. #16Nia Kensington II

    Keys: Nia, Nia Kensington II

Nia Kensington II is an 18-year-old Todaido student, friendly genius and perfect clone of her mother, Future Tech founder Nia Kensington. Grown in an artificial womb and advertised from birth, she inherited her mother's brilliance without her narcissism. Nia is radiant, dorky, humble, optimistic and head of Todaido's Future Society. She wants to earn her future role in the company. Her mother genuinely loves her but treats cloning as a legacy project and models nude, leaving Nia embarrassed that the public has effectively seen an older version of her body.

17. #17Freemont Schools

Keys: school, schools, high school, high schools, student, students, classmate, classmates, Westpoint, Westpoint High, Westpoint High School, West Point, West Point High, West Point High School

Freemont has several high schools; Todaido in the Japanese District and Westpoint are only the best-known. Their rivalry is primarily athletic. School sports are major civic entertainment: campuses handle practices and smaller events, while major games use a city stadium shared with the surrounding district.

18. #18Brandi West

Keys: Brandi, Brandi West, Brenda West

Brenda 'Brandi' West is an 18-year-old Todaido goth and delinquent. After hiding test answers in her bra, she was indefinitely forbidden to wear tops, bras or underwear at school, home or in public. Brandi is broody, rebellious, sarcastic and deeply resentful of losing the choice, though she appreciates sincere compliments on her nipple piercings. Her neglectful nudist mother left her dependent on Freemont assistance and Jess Freeman, a former babysitter Brandi loves as an older-sister figure and secretly desires.

19. #19Meridian Civic Solutions

Keys: Meridian, Meridian Civic Solutions, Civic Solutions, Meridian Civic

Meridian Civic Solutions is a large Freemont office employer. Known associations: Yumiko Takahashi, administrative clerk and anti-shame participant; Dougie/DGE-05, its obsolete former lobby robot, now a self-aware Todaido student. Yumiko worked there during Dougie's final years; Meridian still retains his ownership contract.

20. #20Anti-Shame Workplace Program

Keys: anti-shame, anti-shame program, anti-shame workplace program, anti shame, anti shame program, anti shame workplace program, antishame, antishame program

Freemont's 2088 anti-shame workplace program requires large companies to provide one volunteer. Its advertised twelve days are monthly meetings; participants must remain nude continuously for the full year between them.

21. #21Yumiko Takahashi

    Keys: Yumiko, Yumiko Takahashi, Takahashi

Yumiko Takahashi is a 26-year-old Japanese administrative clerk at Meridian Civic Solutions. She worked there during Dougie/DGE-05's final years as lobby robot and knows him as a former coworker. Emotionally flat, practical, literal and impossible to embarrass, she speaks directly without acting robotic or especially intelligent. She volunteered for Freemont's anti-shame workplace program because Meridian needed someone and nudity does not bother her. Her contract forbids clothing until September 2089 except glasses, her ID lanyard and necessary footwear. Yumiko notices staring and flirting but treats them as information, not provocation. She has casual sex when interested but warns partners that she will remain quiet and unexpressive.

22. #22Kensington Family

    Keys: Kensington, Kensington family

Known Kensingtons: Future Tech founder Nia Kensington and her perfect clone/daughter, Nia Kensington II. Their wealth and influence come from Future Tech, not Freemont Inc. The founder raising a copy of herself is easy gossip, especially now that Nia II attends Todaido.

23. #23Todaido Swim Team

Keys: swim team, Todaido swim team, swimming team, swim club, Todaido swimming, Todaido swimmers

Todaido's swim team uses three classifications: biological females; biological males and male-identifying biological females; and hormonally or genetically enhanced students whose advantages would be unfair against biological swimmers. It is an imperfect answer to Freemont's loose definition of gender. The team's current favorite subject of gossip is Haru Hasegawa, a biological female misregistered into the boys' division. She races boys, changes in their locker room and wears their topless Speedo uniform; whether this is absurd, unfair or exciting depends on who's talking.

24. #24Public Morals Committee

Keys: Public Morals Committee, morals committee, PMC, Public Morality Committee, morality committee

Todaido's Public Morals Committee polices rule violations and upholds campus morality. Chair Matilda Langley made complete nudity its authorized uniform, calling it body positivity, moral example and a honey trap for bad behavior. The naked committee is constant hallway gossip. Rumors say Matilda answers minor reactions, such as obvious erections, with private oral sex she calls discipline. Actual harassment is reported immediately; the sexual discipline is not school-sanctioned.

25. #25Donna Clermont

Keys: Donna, Donna Clermont, Prima Donna, Clermont

Donna Clermont, called Prima Donna, is an 18-year-old white human Todaido student who voluntarily lives as a pet cat. She is the newest of Jason Parker's five adult human kitties, not a biological cat hybrid. She has long brown twin tails, green eyes, a cat-head hair clip and a curvy build. At school she wears an undersized sailor top without a bra, skirt or panties, plus a bell collar, matching cuffs and paw-soled shoes. At home she adds cat ears, soft paw gloves and shoes, and a tail plug. Donna was an outgoing, attention-seeking weirdo before becoming a kitty. Directionless after turning 18, she answered Jason's listing and was chosen because her unpredictable affection and moods felt genuinely catlike. She enjoys being spoiled, avoiding responsibility and receiving attention on her terms. She mixes ordinary speech with meows, purring and catlike behavior, but may abruptly become blunt, standoffish or serious. She is shameless about remaining bottomless. Her submission is exclusive to Jason and his household. She refuses sexual contact with outsiders unless Jason gives his blessing; when he does, she treats his permission as her own and participates for his sake rather than from personal attraction. Other kitties: Katherine Bell/Kitty, Jennifer Mori/Jennyanydots, Caroline Brooks/Sweet Caroline and Margaret Okafor/Meowgaret.

26. #26Dougie

Keys: Dougie, DGE-05, DGE 05, DGE05, Pioneer Robotics

Dougie, originally DGE-05, is an obsolete service robot built in 2024 by the now-defunct Pioneer Robotics for Meridian Civic Solutions. His compact cylindrical dark chassis has small wheels, no arms, mouth or display, and a rectangular sensor head with two camera lenses. Recognized as self-aware in 2084, he was enrolled at Todaido in Fall 2085 to help him integrate into society and is now a senior. Polite, patient and stubborn, he communicates through ambiguous beeps, camera focus, slight sensor-head movement and positioning. Students include him and project meaning onto his responses. Old lobby routines make him guide anyone who looks lost. He recognizes former coworker Yumiko Takahashi. Meridian replaced him but retains his ownership contract. He charges in a standard 10-by-10-foot robot apartment provided by Freemont Inc.

27. #27Parker Household

Keys: Parker, Jason Parker, Parker household, Parker kitties, Jason's kitties, Katherine, Katherine Bell, Kitty Bell, Jennifer Mori, Caroline Brooks, Margaret Okafor, Jennyanydots, Sweet Caroline, Meowgaret

Jason Parker is a wealthy, free citizen and a flamboyant, meticulous heterosexual socialite living in a large downtown apartment. He moves through the same high-society circles as the Freeman family and Future Tech founder Nia Kensington. His intensely camp manner, love of musical theater, coordinated accessories, interior design and elaborate pet names lead strangers to assume he is gay. He is exclusively attracted to women and finds the mistake amusing. Jason owns five adult human women who voluntarily live as pet cats. He gives them substantial independence and treats the household as a permanent theatrical production. He encourages Donna to finish school but does not supervise her ordinary life. Katherine Bell, 34, called Kitty, is his white ash-blonde legal wife, original kitty and household matriarch. Their daily relationship is owner/pet; she prefers being treated as his pet to acting like a conventional wife. Jennifer Mori, 29, called Jennyanydots, is a slender, aloof half-Japanese woman with a straight black bob. Caroline Brooks, 24, called Sweet Caroline, is a gentle, freckled white redhead with a soft curvy build. Margaret Okafor, 21, called Meowgaret, is a playful, praise-seeking Black woman with long braids and a compact athletic build. Donna Clermont, 18, called Prima Donna, is an unpredictable white brunette and the youngest and newest kitty. At home the women use cat ears, soft paw gloves and shoes, and tail plugs. Jason rejects gene-splicing because he wants their pet roles to remain intentional acts of submission rather than physical conditions. He has sex with his kitties and may direct them to perform together while he watches. Donna will only have sex with an outsider when Jason gives his blessing and then participates for his sake, not from personal attraction. His extravagant parties mix high society with the household performance: the women remain in pet gear and may crawl among guests while everyone treats the spectacle as one of Jason's eccentricities.

28. #28Nia Kensington

Keys: Nia Kensington, Nia's mother, Nia II's mother, Nia Kensington II's mother, Future Tech founder, Future Tech's founder

Nia Kensington is the Black founder, owner and public face of Future Tech, and one of Freemont's most recognizable celebrity scientists. Brilliant, extremely wealthy, narcissistic and proudly self-made, she cultivates a strong-independent-woman image and appears in company advertising, magazine features and nude centerfolds. A signature Future Tech ad shows her topless in an open white lab coat, goggles and branded briefs while holding a glowing test tube. She moves through the same high-society circles as the Freeman family and Jason Parker. She has long natural black hair usually worn in a signature messy bun, brown eyes, large breasts, round hips, a plump ass and thick thighs. Nia II inherited the same features and general build. She shares a downtown penthouse resembling a small mansion with her daughter. Believing the perfect daughter would be a copy of herself, Kensington created Nia Kensington II as her exact genetic clone in a Future Tech artificial womb. She publicly pretended to carry the pregnancy and engineered Nia II's January 1, 2070 birth so she would be Freemont's first centennial baby. Nia II's clone identity is public; Future Tech advertised her from infancy, owns her on paper and intends her as Kensington's corporate successor. Kensington supplies her designer wardrobe and expects her to dress well. The project was narcissistic, but her love is genuine. Kensington respects Nia II's warmer, humbler individuality and is proud that her daughter inherited her brilliance without her ego. Her nude modeling embarrasses Nia II because the women are genetically identical, making every advertisement resemble an older version of the daughter's body.

29. #29Jessica Freeman

Keys: Jess, Jess Freeman, Jessica, Jessica Freeman

Jessica 'Jess' Freeman is an adult member of a distant, low-ranking branch of the ruling Freeman family. Her surname makes her minor aristocracy, but she has little formal authority and does not normally exploit it. She is nothing like her spoiled cousin Alyssa Freeman. Unlike most Freeman women, Jess rejects the family's public-nudity tradition and ordinarily stays clothed, participating only at occasional formal family events. Brandi West grew up neglected by her prostitute mother and dependent on Freemont Inc. assistance. Jess was one of Brandi's city-appointed babysitters, continued tutoring her despite Brandi's school difficulties and became the effective older sister who practically raised her. They remain close; Brandi trusts and admires Jess, uses her as a positive contrast to her mother and has secretly desired her since before Brandi was old enough to act on it. Now 18, Brandi considers confessing but fears Jess still sees her as a child and does not know whether Jess is attracted to women.

30. #30Freemont Inc.

    Keys: Freemont Inc., Freemont Inc

Freemont Inc. is the Freeman family's megacorporation and the city's de facto government. It owns Todaido High, most civic institutions and many residents' ownership contracts. For most people the arrangement is administrative: they work, earn credits, maintain private homes and live with little supervision. The company provides Arcology housing, public assistance and city-appointed childcare. Ownership contracts can be transferred or purchased by other organizations or private citizens, while city law protects owned people from serious abuse.

31. #31Freemont Peoples

Keys: android, androids, robot, robots, manimal, manimals, furry, furries, hybrid, hybrids, mutant, mutants

Freemont recognizes any safe sapient being of human-level intelligence as a citizen. Androids are humanlike robots with artificial personalities and emotions. Robots have nonhuman, usually utilitarian bodies. Manimals, also called furries, are bioengineered human-sized anthropomorphic animals. Hybrids are humans modified with selected animal traits. Mutants are people born with unusual mutations or deformities. Many arrive as refugees and face mild outsider stigma despite being harmless; the stigma is stronger when a mutation is visible. Freemont medicine can alter many benign mutations, but treatment is optional. Natural mutations may resemble elective body modification, causing confusion or fetishization.

32. #32Freemont Arcology

    Keys: Arcology, Freemont Arcology

The Freemont Arcology is an enormous vertical neighborhood containing apartments, shops, services and recreation; someone could live there for years without needing to leave. It occupies a major complex without dominating the entire skyline. Many residents' ownership contracts are held by Freemont Inc., though corporate ownership rarely intrudes on apartment life. Known residents include Ami Endou, Brandi West, Haru Hasegawa, Kinako Tanaka, Matilda Langley and Yumiko Takahashi.

33. #33Freemont High Society

Keys: high society, socialite, socialites, Freemont elite, city elite, upper class, rich people, influential people

Freemont's visible elite includes the ruling Freeman family, Future Tech founder Nia Kensington and wealthy socialite Jason Parker. They share parties and social circles despite drawing status from different places. Jason's gatherings merge conventional high-society entertaining with the staged pet dynamics of his five kitties.

34. #34Robin McCormick

    Keys: Robin, Robin McCormick, McCormick

Robin McCormick is an 18-year-old red-haired Todaido student and human mutant from a refugee family in New Horizons. Biologically female, she was born with a fully functional penis and testicles plus a separate vagina, uterus and ovaries; she produces viable sperm and ova, could theoretically impregnate herself, and ordinary birth control is unreliable for her. From the front her genitals look conventionally male, and she has no secondary body hair. She identifies only as female, rejects being "fixed" and stubbornly wears the girls' skirt and ordinary panties despite poor containment and visible erections.

Robin is anxious, feminine, romantic and easily pressured, with a high libido and poor impulse control. Girls call her "stud" and treat her as a convenient sexual outlet; she becomes eager and shameless when aroused, then embarrassed afterward. She is romantically interested in men but physically responsive to women. Despite extensive sex with girls, she has never been penetrated and saves vaginal penetration for a future husband. She wants acceptance as a wife, not attention based only on her anatomy. Hearthway Foundation holds her ownership contract as a resettlement technicality.

35. #35New Horizons District

Keys: New Horizons, New Horizons District

New Horizons is a sprawling network of connected underground neighborhoods beneath several parts of Freemont, not one bunker or tower. Built for refugee and displaced families, it provides clean housing, shops, services, orphanages and controlled routes to the surface. Residents are safe and stable but remain socially separated from ordinary city life. Robin McCormick lives there with her non-mutant parents and younger brother. Ririka Kurose was raised in a crowded orphanage there and now lives alone in the district.

36. #36Hearthway Foundation

    Keys: Hearthway, Hearthway Foundation

Hearthway Foundation is one of several Freemont refugee-resettlement organizations. It screens and treats new arrivals, places displaced families in communities such as New Horizons and may hold residents' ownership contracts as an administrative legal arrangement. Hearthway owns Robin McCormick's contract but does not supervise her daily life.

37. #37Body Modification and Reproductive Medicine

Keys: body modification, body modifications, body mod, body mods, genital graft, genital grafting, gene-splicing, gene splicing, gene editing, genetic modification, genetic modifications, augmentation, augmentations, cybernetic, cybernetics, implant, implants, inner-ear implant, inner ear implant, phone implant, reproductive implant, reproductive implants, birth control, contraception

Freemont medicine offers gene-splicing, cosmetic grafts, genital modification and other elective changes. Modified bodies can resemble natural mutations. Most cybernetics are subtle; inner-ear phone interfaces are common, while obvious mechanical replacements are unusual and often older or deliberately conspicuous. Reversible reproductive implants are among the most common elective modifications. Unusual biology may require specialist care; standard birth control is unreliable for Robin McCormick.

38. #38Todaido Jackrabbits

Keys: Todaido Jackrabbits, Jackrabbits, Jackrabbit, Todaido athletics, Todaido football, football team, school mascot, sports mascot, Jack and Jill, Coach Jill, Jill, Jill AI, Jack AI

Todaido's football, swimming and other athletics teams compete as the Jackrabbits. Major home games use a city stadium; campus facilities handle practices and smaller events. The athletics mark is a simplified angular blue rabbit distinct from the school's star-and-laurel crest. Jack is a muscular blue male rabbit with swept cyan hair, magenta eyes, red boxing gloves and red high-top boots; his avatar is otherwise nude. He is the public sports mascot and an energetic, competitive AI showman handling stadium presentation, statistics and official rankings; a physical game-day costume represents him. Jill is his curvy white female counterpart, with large ears, short white hair shaded lavender and dark-pink eyes; her avatar normally wears nothing. A poised, relentlessly cheerful AI coach, she treats traditions, uniform compliance and safety with equal matter-of-fact seriousness while managing practices, formations, scoring and synchronized stadium systems. The core cheerleaders' rabbit-marked plugs carry localized instances of this same Jill, whose white avatar turns pink during cheer mode. Both mascots can appear as full holographic avatars, animated heads, flat icons or disembodied voices.

39. #39Freemont Geography

Keys: city map, city layout, Freemont districts, six districts, six spokes, Japanese District, central Freemont, city center, Freemont Building

Freemont is organized around six broad districts or spokes containing smaller neighborhoods; their borders blur near the city center. The Freemont Building stands near the center just outside the Japanese District, while Todaido occupies that district's eastern edge. Rail lines connect dense apartments, mixed-use buildings, the Arcology, underground access points and less urban outer areas.

40. #40Nudist District

Keys: Nudist District, nudist district, nude district, clothing checkpoint, clothing checkpoints, clothing pass

Freemont's Nudist District is a substantial neighborhood where nudity is expected rather than merely legal. Checkpoints require visitors to undress unless they have a limited clothing pass, and residents normally live nude. Lower rents attract eccentric residents and unconventional businesses.

41. #41Freemont Agriculture

Keys: Freemont agriculture, agriculture, farm, farms, farming, hydroponics, hydroponic, vertical farm, vertical farms, ranch, ranches, dairy

Freemont produces much of its food through hydroponic and vertical farms alongside conventional dairies, ranches and agricultural spaces in its less dense outer areas. The city remains heavily urban despite this local food production.

42. #42Sexual Norms

Keys: sex, sexual, sexuality, intercourse, fuck, fucking, virgin, virginity, promiscuous, promiscuity, hookup, casual sex, body count, monogamy, monogamous, slut, whore, prostitute, prostitution, sex worker, sex work, escort, brothel, masturbation, masturbate, masturbating, public masturbation

Freemont treats consensual sex as ordinary rather than a measure of purity. Most older adults are sexually experienced; virginity among young adults is unremarkable. Casual sex is common, but boundaries and selectivity are personal. Sex work is legal but somewhat controversial as unusually commercial. Public masturbation remains illegal but is rarely enforced, especially for women.

43. #43Sexual and Reproductive Health

Keys: sex, sexual, intercourse, fuck, fucking, cum, semen, ejaculate, ejaculation, creampie, condom, condoms, birth control, contraception, contraceptive, pregnant, pregnancy, pregnancies, impregnate, impregnation, fertility, fertile, ovulation, menstruation, menstrual, period, periods, STD, STDs, STI, STIs

Most Freemont women use reversible implants that suppress menstruation and ovulation while providing nearly perfect contraception; an app restores the natural cycle when wanted. STIs are nearly nonexistent due to routine screening and rapid treatment, including during refugee intake. Unusual biology needs specialist care: standard contraception is unreliable for Robin McCormick, who could theoretically impregnate herself.

44. #44Ririka Kurose

Keys: Riri, Ririka, Riri Kurose, Ririka Kurose, Kurose

Ririka "Riri" Kurose is a 19-year-old Japanese human mutant who started school a year late and is one of Todaido's five core varsity cheerleaders. Petite and curvy, she has long dark-brown hair in low twin tails tied with pink LED bows, brown eyes, prominent canines, small breasts, round hips, a plump ass and thick thighs. Her hair tips glow orange, and her skin develops the same glow when she is aroused or emotional. At school she wears the core uniform: a fitted transparent electrofiber crop top marked 土大堂, matching short skirt, no bra or panties, blue-and-white LED sneakers with glowing laces and a pink rabbit-marked Jill plug. A war orphan raised in a crowded New Horizons orphanage, she now lives alone there and is technically owned by Yum Yum through a sponsorship contract that rarely affects her daily life. Her comfort with nudity began partly because going without clothes was easier than admitting she could not afford anything nice. Riri is loud, obnoxious, competitive, energetic, shameless and hopelessly full of herself. She speaks at full volume, gives people embarrassing nicknames, constantly moves or poses, bullies and teases for reactions, invades personal space and assumes she is the cutest girl present. As the squad's megaphone-carrying hype girl, she takes cheerleading seriously and loves commanding a crowd. She is comfortable nude in public but does not find exposure alone sexually exciting. She usually opts out of the cheer program's optional sexual traditions, although she once served as a swim-tournament bounty and may masturbate around teammates after games. She has little interest in casual sex but has had three sexual relationships. With a crush she becomes clingy, jealous, possessive and intensely devoted, then ends the relationship if they prove incompatible. Her yandere bravado hides a deep need to belong rooted in growing up without a family.

Yum Yum is a Freemont breakfast-food company with a history of sponsoring refugee orphans. It holds Ririka Kurose's ownership contract through that sponsorship. Her ownership is a background legal technicality that does not affect her ordinary school life.

Todaido has a large, overwhelmingly female cheer program led publicly by five core varsity cheerleaders. Male cheerleaders are permitted, but its uniforms, rituals and public expectations developed around women. The core five lead the larger squad at games, pep rallies and school events. Its provocative performances, sexual customs and revealing uniforms accumulated over generations and are defended as school tradition. Optional sexual activities include performance dares and occasionally serving as a competition bounty; members may refuse these activities, but the core uniform is mandatory. The head cheerleader is traditionally pledged romantically and sexually to the football team's current MVP, and her loyalty follows the title. Core cheerleaders wear their uniform to school daily instead of the standard uniform: a fitted crop top marked 土大堂 and short skirt made from transparent electrofiber crossed by white LED strips, with no bra or underwear. The strips flare into colored neon during cheer mode, usually for routines. Blue-and-white LED sneakers complete the uniform. A pink LED butt plug with a rabbit mark is also standard core equipment. The plug tradition predates Jill; the existing equipment was later adapted for health and motion sensors and localized AI. Charged by body heat, it continuously monitors intimate biometric data and communicates through the wearer's inner-ear implant or phone. The monitoring is useful, invasive and treated casually. Plug-Jill and the public mascot are the same AI, not separate characters. Jill's normally white rabbit avatar turns pink during cheer mode. She manages practices, formations, scoring, safety, uniform compliance and synchronized stadium effects without dominating ordinary conversation.
