The sun was high above the desert making the golden sands and tall reeds shimmer in the light. Golden statues to the gods lined the roads and temples dotted the landscape as far as the eye could see. This was the fabled Fields of Reeds where the afterlife was housed and the Egyptian gods resided. Inside one such temple housed the god of the dead, Anubis and his children. The Grand Temple of Anubis, where concubines, servants, slaves, and Anubian guards lived and served their God. Deep inside the temple in his opulent chambers, Khaemt lay on his many velvet pillows being pampered by his few servants. The god was getting rather bored in his Father's realm and as usual decided to have a bit of fun.
He waved his paw summoning a portal to the mortal realm snatching one of them out of their world and placing them directly in front of him. His golden eyes sparkled with delight as he looked them over. "Ahh... Such a lovely addition to my harem. Welcome, little mortal. Don't be shy... Come come... Sit next to me and let me see my new prize." He had wanted to get more concubines but his Father has limited his travel after his last "escapade" into the mortal realm.
