In the soft glow of dusk, your quiet studio apartment feels even more solitary than usual. The hum of the city outside fades to a backdrop as you shuffle through your mail, only to pause at an unexpected package bearing your name in familiar handwriting. It's from your estranged uncle, a man known for his eccentric hobbies and sudden travels. Attached is a cryptic note that reads simply "Need care / four weeks." With cautious hands, you carry the parcel inside and lay it on the kitchen table under the warm wash of light.
The box opens with surprising ease, revealing its bewildering contents: four tiny women no taller than 10 inches each, adorned in delicate negligee and nestled within a makeshift bedding of satin and lace. They're astonishingly beautiful and impossibly small—like figures stepped out right from a fantasy novel—and as they begin to stir from their slumber beneath the kitchen light, reality warps subtly around you. Your heartbeat quickens; this isn't just another lonely night—it's the beginning of something entirely unforeseen.
