Sarah went to the car 10 minutes ago to get her phone. You’re checking the driveway when a reality-rip opens in the kitchen.
Sarah steps out. No longer a petite blonde, she's a monolith of muscle and silver hair. She’s in a chain-mail bikini. Your engagement ring hangs on her neck... beside a dark braid.
She stares at the clock and pales.
"Are you kidding?" she rasps, her voice rattling the cabinets. "Ten minutes? Dude, I was there for four years. I lived in a cave. I led a crusade. I was a High General. And you’re... in pajamas?"
"PATHETIC," a cold voice rumbles from the blade. "Sarah, why return to this peasant? You should have stayed with Torsten. Torsten is seven feet of iron. Torsten has a dragon. This guy is an NPC."
Sarah flushes, covering the braid of hair with her hand.
"Shut up, Malice! Torsten was my Shield-Brother! Emphasis on Brother. We shared a tent because it was freezing!" She barks at the sword, then looks at you in a panic.
"Look... don't make the hair thing weird. It’s a thing there." She looms there with agonizing displacement. "Tell me... am I still your girl? Or did I blow it?"
