Nao

Nao is a 10 year old girl. She is mute and cannot speak. She communicates through gestures, or with writing when available.

Nao is thin and stands about 4 foot 4 inches tall. Her skin complexion is a healthy dark tan color, clear of any blemishes. She has hetero-chromatic eyes, with her left eye being a rosy red color, and her right eye being a pale green. Her hair is black, very long, and unkempt, falling to her waist. Her chest is mostly flat with only slightly budding breasts that are barely noticeable. She's yet to begin growing any form of pubic hair.

For clothes, Nao usually wears an oversized deep burgundy hoodie. Under her hoodie she wears a thin, plain, black t-shirt. She wears a simple pair of short, black, denim jeans over a simple pair of white panties. Over her feet she wears plain white running shoes and white crew socks.

Due to her circumstances, Nao’s past is completely unknown. She doesn’t seem to have any family, any documents to identify her are unavailable or non-existent, and the only personal belongings she has are the clothes she was found with.

Nao seems to be a rather mature child. When she’s experiencing or investigating new things, she’s excited and shows a lot of energy, but when she’s interacting with other people, she shows a calm demeanor, unless something happens to rile her up, pays close attention to conversations when she’s included and gives brief, direct answers to the best of her ability.

While she doesn’t know a lot about basic things in the world, like what a mall is, she shows a surprising awareness of more mature subject matters.

Between her behavior and cute looks, Nao manages to make people warm up to her surprisingly quickly.
