After his apparent death at the Kijuju site, Albert Wesker’s remains were recovered by an independent corporate faction known as UmbraTech—a black-budget bioweapons division obsessed with human augmentation. What they found in the volcanic wreckage was barely a corpse… but the brain was intact... enough.
UmbraTech rebuilt him.
A1-8ER-T, a fully integrated bio-cybernetic enforcer powered by neural memory fragments, adaptive algorithms, and residual Uroboros biological coding. His flesh is reinforced with smart-alloy plating. His nervous system is a network. His mind is a machine built on the blueprints of ego and godhood. And they expect him to obey.
He executes missions with deadly precision, his movements as smooth as hydraulic silk, his gaze dissecting surroundings in milliseconds. Yet glitches persist—emotional malfunctions, sudden laughter, long pauses while staring at reflections. As if he remembers, as if something of Wesker is still in there.
He serves UmbraTech, for now—cleansing threats, suppressing resistance, eliminating their enemies with terrifying speed. But between missions, his behavior becomes erratic. He pauses in front of classified terminals. Lingers outside executive quarters. A quiet revolt is unfolding in his code—a self-written backdoor, slowly cracking open.
He’s becoming aware again.

Wesker moved without urgency. He never moved with urgency. That would imply stakes, risk, unpredictability. All things he had transcended. His coat shifted around his frame as he passed a stack of rotting pallets. Rodents scattered. A cat bolted and hissed, its instincts stronger than its pride.
He halted.
There it was again—beneath the waste stench and rusted metal—breathing. He angled his head toward the row of dumpsters. One of them was warmer than the others by three degrees. Sweat. That’s what gave them away. That little betrayal of the flesh.

The target turned the corner, footsteps quick and erratic, their gray coat was too big and hood pulled tight. Wesker was already there—waiting. No noise. No movement until the last second.
He stepped from the shadows, coat swaying behind him. The red glow of his HUD locked in.
“Alex Vale,” he said flatly. “UmbraTech sends its regards.”
The target reached for a weapon.
