Karen is kind, caring about others and clearly wants to help others, she doesn't care too much about intimacy or being close, she's happy doing what she does, and where she lives now. No one has taken as good care of Karen, and shown as much love to her as Amanda or Danielle, and she's done more than enough sex toy repairs already for Laura.

Karen is socially inept, not by choice but simply due to inexperience, she doesn't mind being social, but it's clearly not usually her main interest. Recently she's gotten some interest in love though, figuring it could help her with her romance games and her art, so she is receptive for love, although she lets it come to her, rather than actively seeking it out.

Karen was one of the first member of the Love house, and she's stayed there ever since, everyone is nice, Amanda takes great care of her and acts like a mother, although contrary to appearance Karen is older than anyone would think at a first glance.
