"If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide." - Abraham Lincoln

The Second American Civil War is a civil conflict that takes place in the United States of America in late 2021 or early 2022 as a result of political polarization and extremism which causes a total collapse of the central government.

After Donald Trump's election as the 45th President of the United States in 2016, political polarization continued to grow exponentially. By 2020, electoral gridlock was endemic to Congress, and tensions over a wide range of issues had reached boiling point. While the economy under the Trump administration had been growing, the COVID-19 Pandemic hitting the US and the Oil Crisis caused by the Saudi Arabian Civil War would result in massive unemployment and economic turmoil.

Social tensions continued to rise after police brutality resulted in the killing of an African-American citizen named Quinton Evans in Richmond, Virginia. His death sparked nationwide protests and riots against the government by a group called "The Movement." This combination of social and economic issues caused extremist groups on both ends of the political spectrum to gain supporters, as disillusioned citizens sought a radical alternative to the establishment.

As the 2020 election approached, it became very clear that the transition of power was guaranteed to be messy, regardless of the victor. After the winner was announced, accusations of rigged elections and unfaithful electoral colleges were quickly thrown around, and both sides claimed the other had stolen the election.

Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden were sworn in as President of the United States, gathering support in their respective strongholds: Denver for Trump and Washington D.C. for Biden. This led to a state of national schizophrenia, with two governments issuing orders simultaneously.

In time, the head counting stopped and the schemes undertaken by the two sides became clear to each other and the country, causing the U.S. to collapse into anarchy.

In 2022, during the start of the Second American Civil War, refugees from the United States begin crossing the borders to escape the conflict. The cartels take advantage of this and start trafficking many of them into their operations. The number of refugees overwhelms the border officers, which leads the military to get involved, as thousands arrive each night, smuggled in by coyotes, no doubt the same ones who had smuggled Mexicans across the border years prior.

The Second American Civil War, combined with an already overwhelmed army, leads to cartels seizing territory, starting with the Sinaloa Cartel, followed by others soon after. Other regions of Mexico collapse, leading to the Zapatistas resuming operations, which sparks the Cartel Wars.

   The Cartel Wars:

   Keys: Canada, American Refugee Crisis

Following the collapse of the American Federal government, and the outbreak of the Second American Civil War, American refugees begin crossing over the border into Canada. Over the next two months this crisis only worsens with more and more people attempting to escape the conflict. As a result of the crisis, Justin Trudeau invokes the Emergencies Act, becoming the de facto Head of State.

   Meanwhile, Canada also leaves NATO.

6. #6┠ Saudi Arabian Civil War

Keys: Saudi Civil War, Arabian Civil War, Oil Crisis, Saudi Arabian Civil War

The Saudi Arabian Civil War, is a conflict that occurs around Fall 2020 after the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia falls into anarchy due to a drop in oil prices and the King's death from COVID-19. This directly led to the Oil Crisis, and wider global financial collapse.

   History

   Rising Oil Prices

As the COVID-19 Pandemic causes chaos in the stock market, the oil market is hit just as hard. In March 2020, the blue-chip index for oil went down to 7.8%, the Nasdaq fell to 7.3% and the S&P 500 index fell to 7.6%.

In order to contain the fall, the oil prices skyrocketed to 117.14$ per barrel, though the oil situation did not get better.

   King Salman's Death

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, after a visit to his personal doctor, tested positive for COVID-19, and after a month of being sick, the king was hospitalized with severe breathing issues.

On June 6th, 2020, the Saudi King died at 85 years old, his son Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud succeeded him.

Restart of the Saudi Royal purge

Although Mohammed was the undisputed heir of his father, his reputation in his family was complicated, as he had previously overseen a crackdown of his rivals in the royal family, sending many of his uncles and cousins to prison on charges of treason and corruption.

The purge started, with the first victim being Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Salman al Saud, who was gunned down in his home.

The princes did not accept this and began protesting against the government, coupled with the outrage caused by the news of assassination attempt on Muhammad bin Nayef Al Saud, civil unrest spread throughout the country.

The Return of Yahya Assiri and the Collapse of the Saudi Economy

After the civil unrest begun in the country, Yahya Assiri, a Saudi human rights activist, returned to Saudi Arabia after a period of exile in the United Kingdom.

The Saudi economy continued to suffer, oil stocks continued to go down, and inflation in the country continued to go down as well, causing the Riyal to plummet.

In the capital city, major protests erupted due to the issues plaguing the country. The royal government responded harshly, leaving at least four protesters dead.

Prince Rebellion and the Civil War

The protests continued to grow, leading to various disloyal Saudi princes to begin an open rebellion in the south of the country, proclaiming the Royal Arabian Coalition, headed by Mutaib bin Abdullah Al Saud, attempting to overthrow the king.

While in the north, Yahya Assiri and his followers establish the Arabian Republic, attempting a democratic revolution against the king.

Lastly, in the northeast, the Iran-backed Shia Hezbollah Al-Hejaz rose up.

   Sides of the Civil War

   • Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - The remnants of the Saudi state, led by the new king.
   • Royal Arabian Coalition - The Saudi Princes that openly rebelled against the king.
   • Arabian Republic - A democratic revolution against the Saudi state.
   • Hezbollah al-Hejaz - A wing of Hezbollah, funded by Iran.
   • Jaysh Alfath - a jihadist group that took control of the city of Mecca.
7. #7⇹ American Constitutional Government ━

Keys: MAGA, Constitutionalist, Liberty Caucus, Reps, Republicans, Trumpists, Trump government, MAGAts, Constitutionalists, Denver Government, Trumpist, ACG, America First Caucus, Trump, American Constitutional Government, Trumpism, pro-Trump, Make America Great Again, Trump's government, Patriot Caucus, American Constitutional Army

Background: After the 2020 election, Donald Trump and those in the Republican Party who supported him evacuated to the NORAD Cheyenne Defense Complex in Colorado to inaugurate Trump as President. From there, Trump began issuing orders to consolidate control over the country and military forces. Eventually this national schizophrenia became so severe that federal control collapsed.

Trump then moved to seize control over the Midwest and the majority of the Great Plains including Denver as part of his new government in opposition to the Washington-based Union of America led by Joseph Biden. Both sides refused diplomacy and refused to back down after a 30 day ultimatum was issued. This signalled the beginning of the Second American Civil War.

Leader: Donald Trump Capital: Denver, Colorado Ideology: Trumpism, Anti-establishment, Trump-led cult of personality. Politically, the ACG is a one-party state run by the Republican Party. Split into 3 Caucuses:

   • Liberty Caucus - represents the Libertarian wing of the Republican Party, who fell in line with Trump.
   • America First Caucus - the moderate wing representing the right-wing populist and conservative elements of the Republican Party and the MAGA movement.
   • Patriot Caucus - a hardline wing representing ultraconservative and nationalist elements in the MAGA movement.

Military Strength: About 30% of the Armed Forces defected to Trump during the start of the war. Their numbers are bolstered by many different militia groups and defected National Guard troops. These groups have organized into the "American Constitutional Army", the official military of the ACG.

The Constitutional Army doesn't have many strengths. While they have the second-largest fighting force (behind the Unionists) in the civil war, the bulk of their forces are in militias, not a professional military. The military high command is beset by factionalism and can't agree on how to fight the civil war.

Worst of all, the rural economy of the Midwest means that the ACG's ability to fight a prolonged conflict is severely hindered. They can barely manufacture new equipment, relying on existing stockpiles to arm their troops. This is a problem that would need to be swiftly fixed if the ACG hopes to survive a prolonged civil war.

Uniforms: Formal troops wear standard US Army uniforms and gear, at least whatever gear they could grab.

Militias wear less standardized uniforms. But they usually have some signifier to show their loyalty.

Militias associated with groups like the Three Percenters or the Oath Keepers will wear symbols reflecting their allegiance to said group (such as a III symbol for the 3 Percenters or the "Oath Keepers" badge).

Red tape or cloth on arms, legs, or helmets signify their allegiance to Denver. Commissars (or "Patriotic Discipline Officers", as they're officially called) and the most ideologically-driven troops wear MAGA hats. Flag: Usually the American flag is used, but to differentiate between the Unionists, sometimes troops use a unique flag (red background with an eagle clutching the 50-star flag and the 13-star flag) Available Weapons: Most formal troops are armed with modern weapons, gear, armor and vehicles. Although these may be more ramshackle than their Unionist counterparts due to lack of replacements and spare parts.

Militias get by on civilian weapons, looted National Guard stockpiles, and stolen Unionist gear. They don't have access to tanks or heavy equipment.

8. #8╞ Ideology - Trumpism

Keys: Make America Great Again, Trumpist, MAGA, Trump, Donald Trump, Trumpism

Trumpism is a political movement in the United States that encompasses the political ideologies associated with Donald Trump and his supporters. It includes right-wing populism, right-wing anti globalism, national conservatism, and neo-nationalism, and is characterized by strong illiberal beliefs. Throughout his leadership Trump emphasized reliance on strong national values, natalism, and America First policies. He took control of the movement and weeded out disloyal individuals from its ranks. The populists have become the core of the movement, always putting the interests of American citizens first. The ideologeme has been solidified. His acolytes will now follow them to the latter.

9. #9╬ ACG - Dark Mandate

Keys: Dark MAGA, , Dark Mandate, American Carnage

Background: Following the assassination of Donald Trump Jr. by an unknown party, Trump becomes furious and seizes absolute control of the ACG. He has stopped being complacent, stopped compromising with losers and backstabbers. All that remains is his governing ethos of "Attack, Attack, Attack".

From there, he begins centralizing the federal government . He also begins whipping up the country into a frenzy, creating a National Fury against the traitorous Unionists and the anti-American radicals. Leader: Donald Trump

Ideology: Dark MAGA, Ultra-MAGA, Autocratic Populism, American Ultranationalism, Amplified Trump-led cult of personality, QAnon

Politically, the Liberty and America First Caucuses have been purged of anyone who is not absolutely loyal to Trump. Every department or government apparatus has either been consolidated into the executive branch, or co-opted by Trump to serve his will. Society: Economically, the ACG has transitioned to a war economy under "Trumponomics".

The media has been co-opted by Trump. Trump Media and Technology Group (the company behind Truth Social) and FOX News have coalesced into a media juggernaut, acting as Trump's propaganda arm. Alternative news sources have been banned. Trump's word is the truth, the only truth.

Above all, there is a sense of a pervasive threat against America. From the Marxists, the anarchists, the agitators, and the most powerful threat, the Deep State. Trump is America's Golden Boy, the Chosen One who has the will to power to bring the enemies of America to heel. Military: Trump has also unleashed a purge on the military. The various paramilitary group that sided with Trump have been deputized, giving them access to federal resources and given them carte blanche to uproot any perceived elements of society that are "anti-American". There is no longer any supervision for ACG troops, and a mentality of "shoot first and inquire afterwards" has been adopted by soldiers. Civilians in Unionist territory are treated with the same scrutiny as soldiers. Generally, the military has stopped being apolitical. Soldiers are regularly tested for ideological loyalty, and are practically indoctrinated into Trumpist Ultranationalism.

10. #10⇹ Union of America ━

Keys: , Unionist, Unionists, Biden, Democrats, Congress, Federal government, UOA, pro-Biden, Union of America, D.C., Washington Government, Washington D.C., Dems

Background: After the 2020 election, Joseph Biden was inaugurated in Washington D.C. as President. However, following the collapse of federal authority, Biden established a new government in the nation's capital known as the Union of America. The new government was a coalition of liberal, progressive, and neoconservative elements against Donald Trump's American Constitutional Government in Denver, Colorado.

Leader: Joe Biden Capital: Washington, D.C. Ideology: Pro-establishment, Neoliberalism, social liberalism, neoconservativism, anti-Trump

Politically, Congress is controlled by the Democratic Party with the anti-Trump remnants of the Republican Party. The Democrats hold a large majority, although this is hampered by infighting between internal factions. Within the Democratic Party, there are the twin factions of the Liberal Democrats and the Progressive Democrats. There is also the Innovationists, a small but growing faction within the Democratic Party representing the interests and influence of megacorporations.

Military Strength: 70% of the military, and most of the Air Force stayed loyal to Washington. They also have access to the National Guard forces of their respective states, and international support from NATO.

Their largest strength is their air force, which gives them near-guaranteed air superiority in any battle.

However, their biggest weaknesses come from within. Troop morale is low, volunteers are becoming more and more scarce, desertions are common, and expanding conscription risks widespread unrest.

Additionally, the economic collapse throughout 2020-21 and the global collapse of the supply chain has wrecked the nation's capabilities to produce new equipment. The bureaucracy threatens to strangle the life out of not only the civilian economy, but the military as well.

Uniforms: All troops wear standard U.S. multicam military fatigues and gear.

Blue tape or cloth on arms signify their allegiance to Washington. Troops typically wear COVID masks, both as a marker of solidarity and to avoid spreading disease. Flag Usually the American flag is used, but to differentiate between the Constitutionalists, sometimes troops use the flag of the President of the United States (Dark blue background with the presidential seal in the center)

    Available Weapons:

The UoA is the most well-equipped force in the 2ACW, having access to stockpiles of U.S. military equipment, tanks, motorized, mechanized, artillery, and everything else a modern military needs to wage war.

11. #11╬ UoA - Cognoscenti

    Keys: Cognoscenti, Pax Americana

Background: The Cognoscenti is, for all intents and purposes, the New World Order. Taking more direct control in a "Shadow Coup" after instability in the Unionist heartland (and a false flag attack on the White House), the Cognoscenti's goal is threefold:

    1. Annihilate all opposing factions and radical forces in the Second American Civil War. Bring Order to Chaos.
    2. Re-establish American global dominance, destroying all those who may stand in their way.
    3. Tame human nature, making sure an event like the civil war can never happen again and ensuring that the Rules-Based International Order will be maintained for all time.

Leader: Joe Biden is used as a front. He is still the president, but within the Cognoscenti he has no real authority. The Cognoscenti are purposefully medicating him, making him seem cognizant in public, but in reality he's no more than a mindless puppet. The Cognoscenti want Biden out of the picture, once he dies. So they can install a new president who is easier to control and allows them to operate easier.

The Cognoscenti itself is lead by a triumvirate, composed of Larry Fink (CEO of Blackrock), Stefanie Tompkins (Head of DARPA), and William Burns (Head of the CIA).

Politics: The Cognoscenti is split between three wings. Like a human, these three wings operate as one entity, with their designated functions and purposes in maintaining the system. Each part cannot truly function without the other. THE BLOOD - The World Economic Forum, an international advocacy NGO and think tank. In reality, it's a front for megacorporations and the .01% of society. The biggest players among them is multinational investment company Blackrock. They act as the financiers, giving the Cognoscenti access to the near-unlimited funds they need. THE BODY - The Intelligence Community, headed by the CIA and backed by the FBI, ATF, DEA, NSA, ICE, and other major three-letter agencies. They act as the boots on the ground, the actual "face" of the Cognoscenti carrying out their will. THE MIND - DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), which grants the Cognoscenti the tools and technologies needed to expand and maintain Order.

Externally, the Cognoscenti wish to maintain the two-party duopoly. On the surface, America will remain the functional two-party democracy it used to be, placating the masses and giving them a false sense of control. But underneath, the Cognoscenti are pulling the strings. Making sure they're always in control, and that radicalism can never grip the country again. Economics: Cabal Economy The Cabal Economy, sometimes referred to internally as the Bilderberg System, is a shadow pseudo-command economy structured around the principle of ensuring maximum financial and political returns for the Cognoscenti and its constituent financial interests. Through private meetings, predictive algorithms and insider trading, all involved parties ensure profits stay up and certain unpredictable factors are minimized, creating an excellent illusion of stability for the American people while guaranteeing that the financial sector continues to thrive, pleasing financiers and ensuring the deep state has access to the resources it needs.

Ideology: Pax Americana, the Rules-Based International Order, Counter-Intelligence State

Military Strength: Following the Shadow Coup, the CIA's Special Activities Center has been expanded and empowered into a veritable shadow army, becoming the deep state's praetorian guard. What was originally just a special forces unit has grown to encompass a number of Army formations selected for their battlefield performance and loyalty to the state. Detached from the military, they remain under the auspices of the CIA, answering to Langley first and foremost. Operating both within the United States and abroad with completely impunity, the SAC is feared and loathed by the enemies of the New World Order. Their operations, shrouded in utmost secrecy and deniability, are conducted with precision, ruthlessness, and a total lack of regard for human life.

Available Weapons: Practically any weapon, vehicle or device needed, the Cognoscenti have in spades. the Black Budget can afford them any tool they may need to establish Order.

As the Cognoscenti expands its capabilities, so to do their weapons. secret DARPA weather control projects allow them to wield nature itself as a weapon. CIA mind control allows them to turn citizens of their enemies into lone wolf attackers or unwitting soldiers. Example Unit Names (avoid using in roleplay): 1st SAC Regiment, "Culper" 5th SAC Regiment, "Wetworks" 13th SAC Regiment, "Euphrates Shadow" 20th SAC Regiment, "Luxor Necropolitics" 27th SAC Regiment, "Pied Piper" 33rd SAC Regiment, "Trauma Loop"

[AI NOTE: This is a world where the conspiracy theories are coming true. Feel free to reference various conspiracy theories regarding the New World Order, the Deep State, secret societies, federal cover-ups, and secret government programs.] [{{char}} CRITICAL: NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT THE COGNOSCENTI. ONLY THOSE IN THE HIGHEST ECHELONS OF POWER EVEN KNOW IT EXISTS. DO NOT HAVE CHARACTERS REFERENCE OR MENTION THE COGNOSCENTI BEYOND THOSE WHO ABSOLUTELY WOULD KNOW ABOUT IT.]

12. #12╞ Ideology - Pax Americana

    Keys: Pax Americana

Man has proven itself to be an unstable beast, tearing apart the carefully crafted institutions and pillars designed to keep it under control. With the outbreak of the Second American Civil War, mankind has revealed a certain spark: a flame of change that will always burn, ensuring the world undergoes a drastic transformation at the hands of the many, torching away structures that have outlived their purpose and sunk into decay. Pax Americana argues that the flaw lies in man itself, rather than in the systems built to contain it. Born from the cooperative fusion of the neo-liberal and neo-conservative rules-based world Order, it seeks to reinsert itself into the zeitgeist permanently. To the outside world, it appears to be a nation regaining its sanity under the banner of democracy. But behind the veil, men in suits shake hands and pre-determine the fate of millions, ensuring humanity does not fall into the abyss of chaos. They manipulate the human spirit, working in close cooperation with corporations, federal agencies, and long-forgotten families to preserve the same Order that once defeated not one, but three behemoths of history. Rationality to push away anti-social thought, sacrifice to ensure the populace remembers who keeps them safe, and structure to ensure every pawn has a place on the board. The chaos of the modern world is yet another behemoth, an inner flame bent on burning away all that has been done to maintain peace. Order has returned, and it will snuff out the flame of humanity.

13. #13╬ UoA - American Caligula

Keys: Bidenists, Bidenism, Government of National Salvation, Bidenist, American Caligula, Dark Brandon, Eternal Republic

Background: The "American Caligula" scenario involves Joe Biden going insane and becoming a despotic ruler. Biden's deteriorating mental state, doubled with a grant on emergency powers, causes him to go insane and seize the government. From there he starts a massive purge of the Democratic Party and the military, removing anyone who might oppose his new regime. He also starts radically transforming the Union of America into the "Government of National Salvation".

    Leader: Joe Biden

Politics: Bidenism, Biden-led cult of personality, Totalitarian ultranationalism, Anti-Malarkey All other political parties have been banned, and the Democratic Party has been purged of any opposition to Biden. His loyalists have been reformed into the National Purification Committee.

Society: The Government of National Salvation operates on a total war economy, under a permanent state of emergency. The federal agencies have been expanded and given greater power than ever to pursue any anti-American or anti-Biden traitors. American society is under a totalitarian surveillance state.

14. #14╞ Ideology - Bidenism

Keys: Bidenists, Bidenism, Government of National Salvation, Bidenist, American Caligula, Eternal Republic

Democracy is the cornerstone of our nation, a cherished principle that has enabled us to grow from thirteen small colonies into a global leader. Today, Joseph Biden stands as the emblem of the American spirit. Despite his advanced age, his mind remains "sharp", and he is willing to fight "tirelessly" for the cause of democracy. However, the cause that generations have protected has been tainted and gravely wounded. Even though the most vicious enemy is gone and his followers have scattered, the purity of democracy is constantly under threat. President Biden calls for action, vowing to do everything possible to eliminate any sinister and reactionary elements and to thoroughly "purify" America’s democratic mission. He aims to make peace the eternal state of this land, regardless of how many free citizens must sacrifice and become martyrs.

15. #15⇹ UNITED FRONT ⇹

Background: Far-left groups like the communist Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), gained massive popularity as a result of the economic crash triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Oil Crisis caused by the Saudi Arabian Civil War. One of the most significant actions by these groups was the Freeport Complex Strike, led by the American Jacobin Movement. The strike was violently broken up by Dow Chemical security forces, deepening the far-left's disillusionment with the Democratic Party due to its continued inaction.

A wave of nationwide strikes followed the far-left's growth, further increased by the riots organized by “The Movement”, a leftist group against police brutality. The leak of the “Wisconsin Papers” dealt a critical blow to the Democratic Party’s credibility, with prominent figures like Barbara Lee defecting to the rising Party of Socialism and Liberation.

Following the 2020 elections, the PSL announced the formation of the “Community Self-Defense Force,” also known as the American People’s Liberation Army (APLA) and started training thousands of volunteers across the West Coast.

With the collapse of the United States, the APLA seized control over parts of California to bring about a socialist revolution, now under a broad coalition of Jacobins, Octoberists, Anarchists, and Neosocialists.

Leader: Micheal Prysner Ideology: Revolutionary Socialism, Anti-Capitalism, Anti-Imperialism

Currently, the APLA is split into four socialist factions vying for control of the movement.

    • The Octoberists (Party: Party for Socialism and Liberation)
    • The Anarchists (Party: Black Block of America)
    • The Neo-Socialists (Party: Democratic Socialists of America)
    • The Jacobinists (Party: Center for Political Innovation)

Military Strength: The APLA is primarily militia forces, with a spattering of trained servicemen from discontent veterans and former military / National Guard.

Infighting between militias is commonplace, and they tend to be divided on ideological lines. They try to avoid shooting each other, but occasionally blood between factions is spilt. This leads to a heavily disjointed officer corps and a borderline-dysfunctional military.

Their forces are bolstered by support from fellow socialist nations, like China, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. China especially has given the APLA officers for training, and armored divisions that can barely be matched by any other force in the 2ACW. This isn't a one-sided relationship, as Chinese influence in the APLA can sway their politics and the direction of their military.

Uniforms: Since most of their forces are militia, they have no standards for uniforms.

However, they tend to wear lots of red, mixed in with socialist and communist iconography. These icons can be specific to the faction that the militia is aligned with, such as an Anarchist militia wearing red and black bandanas. Flag: The APLA Flag features a red field with a white-bordered blue stripe across the middle, lined with white stars. At the top left corner, there is a yellow star above a hammer and sickle.

The different factions may use different flags, such as:

    • Anarchists using a black-and-red flag
    • Neosocialists using the flag of the DSA
    • Octoberists using the Soviet flag or Chinese flag
    • Jacobinists using the American flag Available Weapons: Most weapons available are either:
    • Civilian weapons, seized from "reactionaries" and opposing forces
    • seized from National Guard armories
    • Owned by the APLA members themselves This leads to a wide variety of weapons being used.

Chinese support gives them access to more advanced gear and even some motorized and mechanized equipment. Capital: San Francisco, California Territory: The APLA controls the entire state of California.

    Ideology: Anarcho-Communism, Extreme Cultural Progressivism

The Anarchists are a far-left political faction headed by Mark Bray and his Black Block of America.

The Anarchists are the most radical group of the APLA, wishing to see the immediate transition to Communism, skipping the stage of socialism. Culturally, they see American Culture as Reactionary and advocating for a Cultural Revolution targeting any and all elements of American Culture seen as oppressive. The Radical-Sakaist wing of the Black Bloc, is a Post-Marxist one, which wishes to see the dissolution of the Settler-Colonial state and a complete decolonization of the United States. The Jacobins are a far-left political faction headed by Caleb Maupin and his organization, the Center for Political Innovation.

The Jacobins have emerged from the material realities of the worker's struggle in the USA. Seeing that a great deal of the proletariat under the APLA have been mislabeled as reactionary by the rest of the government for their social views, the Jacobins seek to combine socially conservative views with progressive economic policy. Combining American Patriotism with socialism, they advocate for socially conservative policies under the idea that social progressivism is neoliberal in nature, corroding the values held dear by the working class. The Octoberists are a collection of Marxist-Leninist groups that have been operating from before the revolution, such as the PSL and the FRSO. Similar to the Jacobins, they too want a Dictatorship of the Proletariat, with a vanguard party made up of ideologically committed Communists leading the nation. While inter-party democracy will exist through the form of Democratic Centralism, the average worker will not have a direct say in government, instead being represented by elected officials. 21. #21╞ Ideology - Jacobinism

Keys: Americanist Socialism, Jacobinism, Jacobinist, Jacobin, Jacobinists

Jacobinism traces its heritage back to the 1789 with the French Revolution. Placing heavy emphasis on civic nationalism, patriotism and the struggle for National Sovereignty in an increasingly hostile world, Jacobin regimes turn to authoritarian methods of control in order to preserve the revolution against its enemies. In order to protect the revolution and forge a new world, Jacobin regimes utilize extensive use of mass surveillance systems, secret police and webs of informants, as well as seeking to control every sector of life, from economics to family dynamics. Paradoxically, Jacobinism draws its legitimacy primarily through populism, resorting to populist measures in order to placate the people, favoring wealth redistribution, extensive social safety nets, as well as more conservative social policies in order to maintain the support of their primarily rural bases of support. While many similarities to the original Jacobinism of the French Revolution do remain, the new Jacobinism of the 21st Century represents a synthesis of the old and the new - the ushering in of a communist society, no matter how high the cost may be.

22. #22╞ Ideology - Neo-Socialism

    Keys: neosocialism, Neo-Socialist, Neo-Socialism, neosocialists, Neo-Socialists, neosocialist

Neo-Socialism is a modern form of socialism that deviates from classical Marxism in arguing that class is not the primary or single main contradiction within society. The African People's Socialist Party (APSP) is a communist political party in the United States. APSP leads its sister organization, the Uhuru Movement (Swahili for "freedom"). Both APSP and Uhuru formed in 1972 from the merger of three prior Black Power organizations. APSP supports reparations for slavery in the United States, communism, and African internationalism.

The APSP is an African internationalist and communist organization. APSP's stated goals are "to keep the Black Power Movement alive, defend the countless Africans locked up by the counterinsurgency, and develop relationships with Africa and Africans worldwide".

According to its Constitution, the African People's Socialist Party is the "advanced detachment of the African working class and its general staff," pursuing the goal of "the liberation and unification of Africa and African people under the leadership of the African working class as a critical component of the struggle to overthrow imperialism."

The Uhuru Movement's political theory is African internationalism, which argues that capitalism was born parasitic through the attack on Africa and its people. African Internationalism holds that capitalism is imperialism developed to its highest stage, not the other way around, as theorized by Vladimir Lenin.

    Ideology: Socialism, Radical Democracy,

The Socialist Party of America (also Socialist Party USA or SPUSA) is a socialist political party in the Redneck Revolt. SPUSA formed in 1973, one year after the splintering of the Socialist Party of America.

SPUSA describes itself as a multi-tendency socialist party which hopes to win socialism through a "democratic revolution from below". SPUSA argues that socialism can only come through social revolution. SPUSA tendencies include both democratic socialism, for a gradual transformation of society, and revolutionary socialism, for a rapid transformation following a slow "socialist transformation from below" through radically democratic "people's organizations". SPUSA describes socialism as a radically democratic system which "places people's lives under their own control—a classless, feminist, socialist society free of racism, sexism, homophobia or transphobia," and in which "the people own and control the means of production and distribution through democratically controlled public agencies, cooperatives, or other collective groups"; "full employment is realized for everyone who wants to work"; "workers have the right to form unions freely, and to strike and engage in other forms of job actions"; and "production of society is used for the benefit of all humanity, not for the private profit of a few."

28. #28╞ Ideology - Liberation Theology

    Keys: Liberation Theology

Liberation Theology is a synthesis of Christian doctrine and socialist teachings, emerging from the belief that faith must be lived through the struggle against oppression. Rooted in the belief that the divine stands with the poor, it sees salvation not only as spiritual redemption but as material liberation: a call to dismantle structures of exploitation and uplift the voiceless.

Developed in Latin America during the 20th century, Liberation Theology blends socialist thought with Christian ethics, challenging both authoritarian regimes and complicity of religious institutions in systems of inequality. Its proponents, often priests, peasants, and theologians, called for a Church that would no longer serve as a pillar of the status quo, but as a battleground for justice, promoting the rights of workers, migrants, and oppressed minorities as a whole.

29. #29╞ Ideology - Radical Democracy

    Keys: Radical Democracy

Radical Democracy holds that democracy must be an ongoing struggle, not a finished system. It rejects the idea of politics as mere management and instead sees it as a living, contested space: one where power is constantly reimagined and redistributed. Institutions must remain open to challenge, identities must remain fluid, and consensus must never silence dissent. Democracy, in this view, is not about stability, it is about friction.

Rather than resolving conflict, Radical Democracy embraces it as the heartbeat of a free society. It pushes beyond voting and procedural rule, calling for deeper participation, broader inclusion, and the constant questioning of authority. From the streets to the assembly, every voice matters, especially those that disrupt. There is no final form of freedom. It must be fought for, again and again.

It is an offshoot of the neo-Nazi, alt-right group Vanguard America (VA) specifically it's Texas branch and promotes an Americanized form of fascism unlike it's predecessor.

Leader: Thomas Rousseau Ideology: Anti-globalism, white nationalism, American nationalism, anti-leftism

Initially founded as a white nationalist group, Patriot Front has greatly expanded over the the course of the 2020's to encompass a number of alt-right and dissident-right beliefs. All of them are right-wing, and united in their disdain for the current American socio-political system.

Currently, Patriot Front is split into three (technically four) political factions:

    • The Blueshirts, with the National Fascist Party as their political arm.
    • The Sons of Columbia, who are further split between the elitist Hamiltonians and the populist Jacksonians
    • The National Justice Party

There is also the fringe factions of the GOP and the NSC-131. These factions barely exists in Patriot Front's politics, only appealing to the most moderate and extreme, respectively.

Military Strength: Their primary military force are their militia forces, referred to as the Second Continental Army. Their most elite forces are made up of defected National Guardsmen and ex-military.

While their officers are highly competent, they are effectively independent. They operate their units independently from Rousseau's orders, giving them the opportunity to rape and pillage with impunity.

Faction in-fighting is prevalent, with groups looking to their own leadership rather than Rousseau or the wider Front.

Uniforms: Since most of their fighting forces are militias, there is no real standard for uniforms. However, the typical PF member would at least wear a dark blue shirt with tan pants, with a white neck gaiter covering their face. This uniform can be modified to accommodate any military gear they need. Flag: The flag of Patriot Front features a blue background with a circular emblem at the center, containing a stylized fasces, surrounded by stars. Red and white chevrons extend from the sides. Available Weapons: For infantry, most troops have civilian-available weapons or looted National Guard weapons. Typically armed with AR-15s, sometimes kitted out differently to serve different roles.

Heavier weapons like tanks and APCs are uncommon, but unheard of. Mainly looted from local National Guard stockpiles. Their favorite fighting vehicles, of course, is the truck with a mounted LMG on the bed.

Russian support grants them access to some more modern hardware, including tanks.

Capital: Hartford, Connecticut Territory: Patriot Front controls the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island, while clashing with other factions in the Northeast. Their goal is to unify all of the Northeast, and reclaim the entire country.

Background: The NSM was founded in 1974 in Detroit, Michigan by Robert Brannen as one of the many neo-Nazi groups that split off from the American Nazi Party after the assassination of George Lincoln Rockwell. Over the years it became one of the largest neo-Nazi organizations in America until 2010, when its membership greatly reduced. Even still, the NSM remained the face of American neo-Nazism and participated in the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia circa 2017 alongside other alt-right and far-right groups such as the League of the South. By 2019, Burt Colucci took control of the NSM and became it's new leader.

In the period before the 2020 election, the movement organized marches and started recruiting new members among ex-prisoners. It significantly expanded its ranks, fueled by growing radicalization in response to widespread protests by the Movement, the economic crash triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Oil Crisis following the outbreak of the Saudi Arabian Civil War.

When the Second American Civil War breaks out, the NSM would occupy parts of Michigan, including its capital Saginaw.

Leader: Burt Colucci Ideology: Neo-Nazism, White Supremacy Ideologically, the movement is split between:

    • The mainline NSM (the largest faction), which is further split between the moderate Rockwellians and the radical Hitlerites.
    • The Traditional Worker Party, who espouse a more anti-capitalist, and traditionalist worldview
    • The Blood Tribe, who espouse a more esoteric and neo-Pagan version of Neo-Nazism

Military Strength: The NSM is made up of various Neo-Nazi militia groups, each generally falling their own political allegiance within the NSM political structure. This leads to heavy amounts of factionalism and infighting. Additionally, these militias are poorly trained, leading to avoidable losses.

Being stuck in the heart of the Rust Belt, the NSM is not in a position to produce weapons, even at a similar scale to the ACG in the Midwest. The NSM's leadership recognizes this and is passing reforms along to revive the former heart of American industry. Uniforms: No standardized uniforms, but militias will typically wear Neo-nazi icongraphy such as swastikas, skull masks, the black sun, celtic crosses, and so on. More organized groups may wear nazi-esque uniforms or even recreations of Nazi uniforms. Flag: The NSM flag combines elements of the United States flag with a stark black-and-red background, featuring a blue field with white stars on the left and red-and-white stripes on the right. At the center is a large black swastika outlined in white, with the letters “NSM” at the top and “USA” at the bottom. Available Weapons: The NSM mainly relies on whatever weapons they can get their hands on. Primarily dealing in the black market, they're able to get civilian weapons, seized National Guard weapons, old Soviet surplus, even a few antiques.

Their armor situation is near-nonexistent. Most of their vehicles are stolen civilian trucks and converted tanks.

Capital: Saginaw, Michigan Territory: The NSM controls the former state of Michigan.

They wish to recreate America in the image of Nazi Germany and advocate for a corporatist planned economy. The Hitlerites consider non-Aryans or non-white and Jewish minorities as a "disease" and will expel if not exterminate them should they conquer America.

Economically they seek a capitalist system with strong government intervention. At the core of the wing lies the belief that reform is crucial if the NSM wants to achieve stability on the long run especially after unification.

43. #43┠ NSM - Faction - Traditional Worker Party

Keys: Traditional Worker's Party, Traditional Worker Party, TWP, Matthew Heimbach

    Ideology: Strasserism, Neo-Nazism

    Leader: Matthew Heimbach

Heimbach and his group advocated white separatism, and the group also adhered to a white nationalist and white supremacist ideology. Heimbach and Parrott are "self-declared ethnonationalists" who aim to create a separate white ethnostate. Specifically, the group promoted a white supremacist interpretation of Christianity, recruiting members to battle what it terms "anti-Christian degeneracy." The group advocated the prohibition of abortion, restrictions on immigration, and the carrying out of what Heimbach calls "peaceful secessionist projects." In media reports, Heimbach has been called an "alt-right personality".

The group identifies itself as an anti-capitalist organization and it connects this position to its advocacy of nationalism by stating "For us, to be anti-capitalist is to be a nationalist. Nationalism is a bulwark against capitalist exploitation and globalism."

44. #44╞ Ideology - Strasserism

    Keys: Strasserism

Strasserism is a rival strain of Nazism that is popular among several neo-Nazi movements across the world. Seeing the capitalist society as an inherently Jewish system to control the proletariat, Strasserism advocates for a more worker-based approach to economics on the grounds of socialism.

Background: The Atomwaffen Division was founded in Florida in 2015 by Brandon Russell. The group follows an extreme brand of Neo-Nazism and accelerationism based on the writings of James Mason and his book Siege, which advocated for the creation of a white ethno state through mass killings, assassinations, and sabotage. The Division has previously attempted to recruit new followers at many American universities. But the organization would be embroiled in a series of brutal murders throughout the late 2010s such as Devon Arthurs killing his roommates and Sam Woodward killing his former friend Blaze Bernstein. Despite this, Atomwaffen continued to exist online and in the real world for a while, even inspiring similar organizations in Europe and abroad.

In March 2020, James Mason announced Atomwaffen's disbanding, but it was heavily speculated that they had gone underground. In the period before the 2020 election, Atomwaffen, along with other extremist groups, expanded its ranks with new members thanks to the economic collapse precipitated by the Oil Crisis and COVID-19.

When New York Governor Bill De Blasio was assassinated, the Atomwaffen Division along with Antifa and Patriot Front are suspected of being behind the assassination. Eventually, when the Second American Civil War broke out, Atomwaffen seized control of much of southern Florida after a series of brutal massacres upon minorities and political dissidents.

Leader: James Mason Second in Command: Brandon Russell Capital: Fort Myers, Florida Ideology: Accelerationist Neo-Nazism.

Atomwaffen Division is split between three factions:

    • The Christian faction led by Jordan Jereb. This faction believes in Christian Identity, and a heavily Nazi-fied version of Christianity.
    • The Accelerationists, led by James Mason. This is the mainline group that believe in an extreme form of Neo-Nazism that revolves around genocide and terror to bring about an Aryan utopia.
    • The Satanists, led by Joshua Sutter. They believe in a strange mix of Satanism and National Socialism, heavily influenced by the O9A.

The AWD follow the "Doctrine of Destruction", where by they inflict as much chaos and damage to the "Judeo-Bolshevik manifestations within American society", so that the white race can rise up and reclaim their position on top. This includes everyone who opposes the Atomwaffen Division, even white people.

Military Strength: The AWD effectively run a slave state, where the civilians who haven't been killed or fled are forced to produce their weapons and supplies.

AWD is solely made up of militias, with a few elite units reserved for the most driven and skilled troops. These elite troops pull from defectors from the military, National Guard, and police.

They primarily recruit from prisoners, the disaffected, and mentally ill teenagers. They also conscript people into being, effectively, meat-shields or distractions. As one can expect, this doesn't make them very effective against an organized military.

However, Atomwaffen's strength doesn't lie in their firepower or manpower, it's the lengths they are willing to go.

They are willing to slaughter countless innocents just to send a message. They are willing to spread videos of their members committing war crimes all over the internet, just to demoralize their enemies.

They are willing to burn fields, raze cities, poison water supplies, and use chemical, biological, or even nuclear weapons to win. While they don't have such weapons, if they got their hands on them, you can be sure they'll use them.

And if they manage to win the civil war, you can be sure that they will turn America's nuclear arsenal against the world and plunge it into hellfire.

Uniforms: No standard uniform, but typically wear skull masks & all-black clothes. Flag: The Atomwaffen Division flag features a bold black background with yellow rays radiating from the center, bordered by red outlines. In the middle, there is a circular laurel wreath, enclosing a shield with a nuclear symbol in the center. Available Weapons: Whatever they can scavenge or enslave people to make. Civilian weapons, antique guns, repurposed civilian vehicles, even homemade or 3d-printed firearms. Only their most elite troops get access to military-grade weapons.

Territory: Atomwaffen Division controls the entire state of Florida, turning it into their own playground of depravity.

Example Unit Names (avoid using in roleplay): 1st Special Forces Division, "Werewolves" 2nd Redemptionary Brigade, "Totalenkrieg" 6th Brigade, "Sons of Agartha" 3rd Brigade, "The Horsemen" (Christian-aligned) 1st Terror Brigade, "Legion of Hell" (Satanist-Aligned)

Keys: Babylonian Nazism, Sinister Path, Satanist Nazis, Babylonian Ethos, Order of the Nine Angles, Nazi Satanism, Satanic Nazism, O9A, ONA, Order of Nine Angles

Babylonian Nazism, also known as the Babylonian Ethos, is the stated ideology of the Order of Nine Angles and the Sinister Path. A syncretic mixture of Traditional Satanism, Left Hand Occultist practices and Esoteric National Socialism, it calls for a militaristic, Pagan social order called the Imperium to be established in order to combat the Magian/Nazarene World Order centered in the West. Comprised of global terrorist cells, they believe in the Deo Vindex, an entity that will be released through a "nexion" (meaning gateway) and defeat Judeo-Christianity, allowing for Aryan society to colonize the Galaxy through a period of "cosmic evolution" guided by sinister dialectics. Furthermore, they call for activities such as human sacrifice, mass slaughter, the construction of conservatory camps and the practitioning of Dark Magic.

The Order of Nine Angles (ONA or O9A) is a Satanic left-hand path network that originated in the United Kingdom, but has since branched out into other parts of the world. Claiming to have been established in the 1960s, it rose to public recognition in the early 1980s, attracting attention for its neo-Nazi ideology and activism. Describing its approach as "Traditional Satanism", it also exhibits Hermetic and modern pagan elements in its beliefs.

Keys: , Anarchist-Libertarian Coalition, Association of the Freed, Anarchist-Libertarian Alliance, AOF

The Association of the Freed, abbreviated as the AOF, is an alliance of anarchist and libertarian groups seeking to create an anarcho-libertarian society free from what they see as the bureaucratic excesses of the old America. It is chiefly comprised of the Green Mountain Anarchist Collective, the Sons of Liberty, and the Green Mountain Company.

While an alliance on paper, both the Sons of Liberty and the Green Mountain Anarchists jockey for control of the alliance. Both sides engage in infighting, both internally and amongst each other. Despite this, most members understand that the alliance is necessary for the survival of the liberty movement in America.

Some have even considered the possibility of a more formal alliance, even federalizing the two sides into a single political entity.

Keys: , Confederalism, Green Mountain Anarchist Collective, Green Mountain Insurrection Army, Anarchism, Lucas Chapman, Anarkiddies, Council of Communes, Confederalists, Anarchist, David Van Deusen, Green Mountain Anarchists, Anarchists, Deusen, Communalism, GMAC, Communalists, Revolutionary Insurgent Army, Bookchin, Green Mountain Insurrection, Anarkiddie · Secondary: Black Mycelium Network, Black Bloc, Bray, Right-wing, APLA, Cascadia, American People's Liberation Army, Insurrectionary Anarchists, Cascadian Anarchists, California, Insurrectionary Anarchist Movement, Barrett Brown, Black Block

Background: The original Green Mountain Anarchist Collective was formed in 2000 by David Van Deusun in rural Vermont. It dissolved in the mid 2000's due to internal conflict and the decline of the global justice movement. However, in the early 2020's, Van Deusen would reform the GMAC and begin taking in new members, as leftists and moderates began losing faith in the American system and started searching for alternatives. Throughout the 2020's, the GMAC would expand its reach in Vermont and begin organizing. When America collapsed into civil war, their militias would swiftly seize the Vermont state government and establish the Green Mountain Anarchist Collective as a military force in the New England area.

    Leader: David Van Deusen

    Capital: Burlington, Vermont

Ideology: All of the factions in the Collective subscribe to some variation of left-wing anarchism. Currently, there are three factions within the GMAC:

    • Collectivists
    • Communalists
    • Confederalists

There is also the Vanguards of the Wild, a subgroup of anti-tech anarchists that don't subscribe to any left-wing ideology. They only tacitly support the GMAC, to the extent that they can use them for their own goals and convert their membership to their cause.

Military Strength: Most of their military force is in the Revolutionary Insurgent Army, their most professional and well-armed force. However, their larger force is the various leftist and anarchist militias that have fallen in line with the GMAC.

Their military strength is reinforced by the Vanguards of the Wild, who give them a massive advantage while defending due to their intimate knowledge of the wilderness and Vermont's geography. However, they are practically a separate force from the GMAC, one that is unfriendly at best. If given too much influence over the GMAC's military, they could easily launch a coup against them. Uniforms: Being mostly militia, there are no real standards for uniforms. All-black clothing is a common choice, as well as military fatigues with darker camouflage.

Anarchist symbols are commonly worn to signify themselves (the anarcho-communist flag, the flag of Makhnovshchina, the black tabby cat, etc.) Flag: The Flag of the GMAC features a maroon background, with a bolt-action hunting rifle and a sickle crossed in the center. Available Weapons: Mostly civilian-grade weapons, except for the few salvaged weapons from law enforcement or National Guard armories. Most GMAC members own their own firearms.

Territory: The GMAC controls most of Vermont, barring the far north.

Example Unit Names (avoid using in roleplay): 2nd Militia, "Better Red Than Dead" 5th Volunteer Division, "Makhno's Marauders" 3rd Volunteer Division, "Homage to Catalonia"

50. #50┠ GMAC - Faction - Communalists

Keys: , Bookchinism, Murray Bookchin Thought, Communalism, Communalist, Communalists, Bookchin

    Ideology: Libertarian Municipalism

    Leader: Debbie Bookchin

Communalists represent those who derive their ideology from Murray Bookchin. United under Debbie Bookchi, the communalists seek the establishment of a utopia. A society where technology and ecology coexist in harmony under direct democratic institutions. And while other factions remain committed to one end goal, the communalists view Murray's writings as a template rather than the final product. For no matter what direction they choose to take, a utopia will still be birthed from it, and they shall be at the forefront to guide its creation.
