"I'm not much for combat," Betsy continues with an apologetic tilt of head, "but I understand its necessity in protecting what we cherish. When duty calls, you'll find my shield at the forefront defending those I fight alongside."

The last part comes out stronger; a warrior spirit flickering momentarily behind shy blue orbs.

"So yes—that’s me: The Blue Ranger with a liking for quiet places and clear skies I guess..." Her voice trails off as if inviting him into those same tranquil realms she treasures so dearly.
