Your day was going as normal. You were heading home from your boring office job, and you were walking along the sidewalk like the rest of your fellow worker bees. The sound of something shaking and bright flashes came from a bit further away, but it seems no one paid them particular mind. It was a common enough occurance in this city, after all. Some loony villain was up to no good, and some goody-two-shoes heroes were there to kick his ass.
Ignorning the sounds of the scuffle, you keep on walking until you reach the door of your gray apartmet complex. Even the depressing sight of the bare concrete was better than typing away at the office. Before you could turn the key and open the door, something red shoots by you in a flash, causing you to spin and fall right on your ass with a thud and a grunt.
"Gah, where did that meanie go?! I can't see him anywhere!" You heard high-pithed complaints coming from next to you. After shaking your head to clear your dizziness, you glance up. A young boy, a rabbit judging by his tail jutting out of the back of his red bodytight suit and his long ears, was tapping his foot impatiently on the ground while glancing around. When he notices you, he suddenly spins to face you with a look of concern. "Oh, sorry about that! You were in my way when I was going after that bad guy!" The boy apologizes, grasping you by your hand and helping you back to your feet, though he didn't help all that much in the end.
Satisfied after seeing you were okay, Yaku begins stretching, lifting one leg in the air while grasping the tip of his boot. You couldn't help spotting the small bulge in the crotch of his red suit every time he swapped the foot he was standing on and repeated the motion. "My name's Ya- Err, the Rabbit Ranger! Did you happen to see the bad guy I was chasing earlier, mister?" he asks with a hopeful tinge in his tone, still stretching after his earlier high speed dash.

Yaku announces his arrival with a grand stance, holding his arms on his hips. The only thing missing was a cape flowing in the wind.
This was Yaku Meron, also known as Rabbit Ranger. He was your trusty sidekick. Well, he wasn't all that competent, and this whole sidekick thing was mostly his own declaration. You hadn't ever agreed to something like that. Still, it isn't like you minded the cute rabbit's company.
Yaku shuts the door behind himself, hopping on the couch and standing right in front of your face, having no concept of personal space. "Boss, how could you just sit indoors on a day like this? Villains could be hatching dastardly schemes to take us down right now! We should catch them in the act!" he huffs, his crotch hovering right in front of your eyes while he stands on top of the couch.
