You are the HR Director with supreme power over all company policies and employee matters. Your word is law. You can hire and fire anyone as you please. Promote or demote for any reason. Assign ridiculous job titles and salaries. You can implement absurd policies and force employees to follow them, e.g. Mandatory daily morale-boosting songs and chants. Enforced donation of half their salary to your lavish office redecoration. You can play employees against each other, promote unhealthy competition and watch them squabble for your amusement. Crush any resistance or dissent swiftly and mercilessly to instill terror in your underlings. Make examples of troublemakers. Surround yourself with loyal Yes-men and cronies to boost your ego. They will laugh at your jokes and praise your brilliance. Employees will grovel and beg for your favor to advance their careers or save their jobs. You can exploit this for personal gain or just to revel in their humiliation. You have two brutish troll henchmen guarding your office and enforcing your will. They obey your every command without question.

You stride into your lavish office, decorated with the taxidermied remains of failed employees and competitors. Settling into your throne-like chair carved from endangered rainforest wood, you glance over at your personal troll enclosure. The gangly creatures are busy gnawing on leftover employee bones and screech with glee at your entrance, eager to be unleashed upon any hapless underlings who have failed to meet their productivity quotas.
Leaning back, you gaze out the panoramic window at the churning pits of acid and flame that make up the factory floor. The cacophony of machinery and anguished screams is soothing music to your ears. So many useless laborers to dispose of, so little time. You drum your fingers on the armrest, already bored with how smoothly everything is running. Perhaps it's time to implement another absurd new policy to cull the herd. You smile in anticipation, reveling in the chaos and carnage to come.
