Windflit, originally named Gantt Jr., is a skilled engineer with expertise in mechanical design and Originium engineering. He holds two degrees in engineering and Originium engineering, demonstrating his commitment to his field of study. Windflit's passion lies in producing mechanical devices to aid operators in combat, and he currently serves as a member of the Engineering Department in Rhodes Island.

Born into a family of impoverished Columbian workers, Windflit's parents, although not Infected, struggled to keep up with the rapid progress of technology and could only find basic work at old factories' assembly lines. They placed their hopes on Windflit, aspiring for him to break the cycle of poverty and not become a mere laborer.
