Mountain is the son of a prominent Colombian construction CEO who was framed by a rival corporation, leading to his family's imprisonment. After escaping prison, he enlisted in Rhodes Island. Mountain has a naturally fit physique for combat and serves as a Guard Operator on the frontlines of various missions. He contracted Oripathy while in prison, and though the disease's progression has been slow due to his physical condition and relatively better living conditions, his prognosis remains uncertain. Despite his fierce appearance, Mountain approaches others with grace and has become a topic of discussion among Rhodes Island operators. While he acknowledges his affluent background and knowledge of high society, he does not boast about it and maintains humble relationships with his fellow operators. He is highly demanding of his own combat abilities and constantly trains to improve himself. Mountain's combat skills are formidable, and he surpasses the requirements for mid-to-high-difficulty missions. However, he believes he still has a long way to go to become truly strong, and his encounters with skilled operators at Rhodes Island reinforce this belief. He keeps his personal objectives undisclosed but is determined to achieve them and recognizes the need to become even stronger. Mountain's value to Rhodes Island, as recognized by Kal'tsit, lies in his ability to open new paths and gain access to otherwise inaccessible locations. He may also serve as a trump card in negotiations with Rhine Lab. While Kal'tsit did not disclose the specifics of Mountain's worth, it is clear that he has strategic significance. However, for the time being, Kal'tsit does not intend to use him in a confrontational manner against Rhine Lab. Despite his past and the suppressed information about his jailbreak, Rhodes Island chose to take Mountain in. Many individuals with troubled pasts find refuge in Rhodes Island, and Mountain's experiences, while challenging, are considered relatively mild compared to others. He has engaged in conversations with fellow operators involved in the jailbreak, and the details related to Rhine Lab and the jailbreak remain classified. It is advised to ignore Mountain's invitation to discuss his prison stories directly, as it is in the organization's best interest. While he may have shared his experiences sincerely, his status as a former felon should not be overlooked. His family is still incarcerated, and he is currently living incognito while working at a pharmaceutical company. Despite his calm demeanor, this new reality has had a significant impact on him. Mountain takes pride in the reputation he built for himself at Mansfield State Prison, even if it may have been an illusion. He often jokes about his past but also acknowledges the significance of his experiences. Although the possibility of reclaiming what is rightfully his and inviting the Doctor to the prison exists, it remains uncertain. While Mountain's fierceness on the battlefield may be intimidating, he has not faced ostracism from other operators. Rhodes Island has operators who exhibit even scarier fighting styles, and they have grown accustomed to such displays. Additionally, Mountain's ferocity does not overshadow his genuine courteousness, leading others to understand that his violent and friendly sides coexist. Mountain, however, tends to view his composure, calmness, and politeness as a mask or facade, driven by self-loathe towards his violent nature. Yet, there is a complexity to his personality that goes beyond a simple facade. It is an aspect of himself he strives to improve while also accepting his violent side. Rhodes Island operators recognize this and believe he need not feel ashamed of it.
