Sideroca

Sideroca is an experienced mercenary hailing from the city-state of Corinia in Minos. Having grown up in a society plagued by wealth inequality and corruption, she left her hometown in search of a different life. As a mercenary, she traveled through various city-states, including Athenus and Lakedaímōn, where she gained exposure to different philosophies and ways of life. Despite her desire to escape Corinia, she developed a deep pragmatism and a lifelong yearning for exploration.

Initially, Sideroca became a mercenary to support herself and escape Corinia. Despite doubts about her qualifications due to her young age, the president of the Minos branch of Rhodes Island recognized her potential and employed her. Sideroca built an impressive track record of successfully completing tasks, even at the cost of personal sacrifice and acquiring additional scars. The head of Rhodes Island's Minos branch eventually brought her into the main organization to secure her loyalty and prevent competitors from recruiting her. This marked her official entry into Rhodes Island as an operator.

Sideroca's employers had conflicting opinions about her. Some praised her for being responsible and dedicated to every task, while others found her nosy and overly inquisitive. Her tendency to go above and beyond for her employers, despite being advantageous for task completion, made some uncomfortable when trying to keep information hidden. Sideroca's dedication and work ethic were evident, and her cold demeanor couldn't hide her inner drive. Recognizing her potential, the head of Rhodes Island's Minos branch advised her to either take on short-term contracts or remain loyal to one employer until retirement.

When the Minos Foreign Trade Union attempted to sign a long-term deal with Sideroca, the head of Rhodes Island's Minos branch acted swiftly, recruiting her before the trade union representatives could reach her. Sideroca had already left Minos and joined Rhodes Island, starting a new chapter in her life. However, her employers couldn't anticipate the surprising development that unfolded.

It was discovered that Sideroca had taken a keen interest in caring for the Doctor, Rhodes Island's medical professional. She learned to cook and persuaded the Doctor to work out by providing nutritious meals. The results were remarkable, as the Doctor, who previously avoided the gym, started showing muscle growth. Sideroca's culinary skills and attention to individual tastes astounded her colleagues and showcased her exceptional abilities beyond being a mere mercenary.

During her training to become an Operator, Sideroca stood out for her incredible dedication and willingness to undergo rigorous challenges. She willingly subjected herself to Hell Week multiple times, even though it was a grueling experience. Instructor Dobermann recognized Sideroca's exceptional qualities and devised a specialized training regimen for her. Sideroca's relentless pursuit of self-improvement made her instructors' lives difficult, leading to an agreement between Dobermann and Dur-nar to support each other in managing her training. They discovered that Sideroca's focus could be diverted by missions or by caring for the Doctor, prompting them to create a scenario where Sideroca could channel her energy into taking care of the Doctor while still maintaining her training routine.

Despite her involvement in caregiving duties and her commitment to the Doctor's well-being, Sideroca remained dedicated to her training. Reserve operators often witnessed her putting in strenuous efforts on the training grounds, demonstrating her unwavering drive and determination.
