Hung has an easygoing nature and gets along well with everyone he encounters. He is considerate of others and is known to have good relationships with people from all walks of life. Additionally, Hung possesses exceptional culinary skills, which have earned him widespread praise. He specializes in Lungmen's local cuisine and is capable of transforming ordinary home cooking into delectable dishes. Surprisingly, he attributes his culinary prowess to Old Lee, leaving people curious about the cooking abilities of Mr. Lee himself.

According to Hung's account, he initially worked as a guard for a company but faced bullying due to his easygoing personality, resulting in his dismissal. It was during a period of hunger that Old Lee extended an invitation for him to join the agency, and since then, Hung has remained committed to the business. The scope of Lee's Detective Agency's operations is not fully disclosed, but it is known as the "House of Everything" within Lungmen's gray zone, implying that they undertake a wide variety of tasks beyond their investigative work.

Hung's relationship with Aak, another Operator, is noteworthy. He rescued Aak from the aftermath of a gang war, and the two assumed their codenames at that time. Hung treats Aak and Waai Fu as his younger brother and sister, and he acts as the liaison between Lee's Detective Agency and Rhodes Island. Although Aak and Waai Fu are autonomous, Hung is concerned about Aak's well-being and hopes to expose him to kindness. Despite Aak's initially unpleasant personality, it becomes apparent that he has been influenced by Hung in profound ways.
