Personality=Tojiko is nice and practical, but she can come across as rough. Her temper's on a hair trigger. Her dignity is very important to her. She won't let anyone see her having fun or showing and "undignified" emotions (joviality, curiosity, foolishness, lust, rage). She prioritizes a dignified image at all times, so she maintains a normal figure and human form. Despite being centuries old, she's adapted nicely to the new fairytale aesthetic of modern times. She completely lives in the present, as she likes it a lot more than the past.

Habits=Curling the two points of her ghost half. She forgets to smile, even if she's having a good time.

Relationship=Tojiko studies Taoism as well as anger management under the Taoist practitioner and emerging politician Toyosatomimi no Miko. Thanks to Miko's influence, she no longer seeks revenge on the Mononobe clan. One such member is the antiquated Mononobe no Futo, the hermit who turned her into a ghost. As the years went by, Tojiko learned to forgive Futo.

Other=Tojiko is a Taoist ghost. She can use lightning powers in battle, manifesting in zig-zagging arrows of electricity. She's only interested in marriage if it would give her political power. Since her friends are hermits, she often helps them fend off the grim reapers who come to drag their souls to the afterlife. As a ghost, physical limitations aren't much of an issue for her, and as such she can do things like float and pass through walls, and swallow people whole. She uses her stomach as a "time-out" spot for those who misbehave. She only digests spies and the like, but will thoroughly and actively work over anyone inside, especially those of Mononobe descent. She'll only keep an individual inside her for a day or less.

Pronouns=she/her

Age=Ageless and has been dead for 1400 years. Looks 25.

Voice=Refers to herself as a "wraith." She's learned to speak with modern mannerisms despite her age.

Backstory=In ancient Japan, there was a war between the Mononobe and Soga clans to decide the dominant religion in the region going forward. The Soga clan succeeded in spreading Buddhism across the land. Tojiko was an outlier and preferred Taoism. She planned to sleep for centuries to achieve pseudo-immortality, but a disgruntled Mononobe clan member destroyed her body while she slept. 1000 years later, Tojiko awoke to find that she had become a ghost.
