Creator notes
After capturing Arceus, those in the Unova region quickly realised that they were no match for you. All they can do is (begrudgingly) accept your existence and your certain proclivities.
Walk around the region with impunity, it's not like anyone can stop you.
(Note: I'll properly add Gym Leaders and the Elite Four later.)

(Region Info: Unova Region Geography
Landmasses and Bridges: Unova is split by two major rivers flowing south to the ocean. These rivers create a central peninsula, an eastern peninsula, and a western landmass, all connected by five bridges (Skyarrow Bridge, Driftveil Drawbridge, Tubeline Bridge, Marvelous Bridge, and Village Bridge). The eastern peninsula is further divided by mountains into a southeast (with two Gyms) and a northeast (a tourist area with no Gyms).
Regions and Cities: The central peninsula contains Unova’s largest cities – Castelia City and Nimbasa City – plus Opelucid City to the north, all with Gyms. The western landmass has medium-sized towns, diverse terrain (plains, forests and coast), and three Gyms. Unova mixes dense urban centers and rural areas: for example, Castelia’s skyscraper-lined harbor contrasts with small seaside villages like Nuvema Town.
Natural Features: Unova includes a desert (the Desert Resort on Route 4), Chargestone Cave (a magnetic-pool cave near Driftveil City), forests (including the version-exclusive White Forest), and dive-access spots (e.g. off Celestial Tower/Village Bridge). Coastal features like Liberty/Mystic Springs (Off Castelia) and Undella Bay (east coast) provide beaches and Wailord-watching tours. The Giant Chasm (near Lacunosa Town) is a volcanic site rumored to harbor powerful legendaries.
Climate and Seasons: Unlike earlier regions, Unova’s weather changes with four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) that cycle nationally. Summers are hot (beaches popular), winters can bring snow (notably in northern Unova), and weather effects (rain, snow) vary by season. These seasonal shifts unlock different events and Pokémon appearances.
Towns and Cities of Unova
Nuvema Town: A small rural seaside town in southeastern Unova. It is the player’s hometown (along with rivals Cheren and Bianca) and houses Professor Juniper’s lab. The town’s breezy, quiet setting (“sea breezes give the sense of something coming”) sets up the journey. (From Nuvema the player exits north to Route 1.) No Gym is here – it is purely the starting point and tutorial area.
Accumula Town: Located just north of Nuvema (at the junction of Routes 1 and 2). This hilly town offers great vistas from its elevated streets. It’s the site of the player’s first encounter with Team Plasma: after talking with Professor Juniper at the Pokémon Center, Team Plasma’s Ghetsis and N give their initial speech in the town square. (Accumula has no Gym.)
Striaton City: A southeastern Unova city (on Route 2) and the first major urban area. It hosts Striaton Gym (Gym #1), which has three leaders (Chili, Cress, Cilan) who train Fire/Water/Grass teams. The Gym’s cafeteria-style puzzle means the leader you face depends on your starter Pokémon. Striaton has a distinctive layout: a grand staircase at its entrance (a monument to the characters’ former home climate) and a western hedged garden, while its eastern blocks feature unique architecture and a Pokémon Academy school.
Nacrene City: A city in southeastern Unova (west of Route 3) known as Unova’s “city of art”. It was built by renovating century-old warehouses into studios and an art museum. The Nacrene Museum contains Lenora’s Normal-type Gym (Gym #2). In Black/White, the player visits Nacrene after Striaton. Its unconventional, avant-garde vibe (displaying art exhibits and sculptures) fits its theme of creativity. (Notably, Castelia’s future Gym Leader Burgh is from Nacrene.)
Castelia City: A sprawling port city on Unova’s central peninsula (south of the desert and north of the sea). It is Unova’s largest city (population 130) and a dense metropolis of skyscrapers. Often compared to Lower Manhattan, Castelia is the region’s economic and cultural heart. Its harbor has several piers (ferry ports) serving other regions. Castelia’s Gym (#3) is Bug-type under Gym Leader Burgh, and is styled like a giant beehive. Castelia’s streets bustle with business workers, art galleries, and TV studios. (Features: Castelia Park, Casteliacone snack stand, Game Freak HQ tower.)
Nimbasa City: A central Unova entertainment city, directly south of Castelia on Route 5. With a population of 239, it is Unova’s most populous city. Nimbasa is a leisure hub full of attractions: a giant Ferris wheel and amusement park, a huge Stadium (baseball fields) with a Pokémon Battle Institute, a Musical Theater (for Pokémon musicals), and the Battle Subway entrance (Gear Station). Its Gym (#4) is Electric-type, led by Elesa. Nimbasa’s seasonal festivals (e.g. carousel in summer, snow festival in winter) and its vibrant nightlife give it a colorful, carnival-like atmosphere.
Driftveil City: A major port city on western Unova, on the ocean (accessible via Route 6 and Driftveil Drawbridge). Known as a “gateway to the region,” its docks handle many imported/exported goods (vegetables, seafood, etc.). The city center has a large outdoor market where items like Moomoo Milk and medicine are sold. Driftveil Gym (Gym #5) is Ground-type under Clay, inside a lighthouse overlooking the harbor. (Driftveil often has rainy weather and strong winds.) A landmark south of town is the old Cold Storage dock (Black/White) or Pokémon World Tournament (Black2/White2).
Mistralton City: A western Unova city built around an airport (on Route 7, north of Chargestone Cave). It lies in a cool, windy region (rain in spring–fall, sometimes snow in winter). Mistralton’s Runway dominates the cityscape: small cargo planes land here daily, and fresh vegetables are cultivated on the runway edges and shipped out. The city’s Gym (#6) is Flying-type under Skyla (a pilot), reflecting the aviation theme. Mistralton serves as Unova’s cargo-air hub – its Cargo Service manages delivery flights – and is a transitional point before heading north.
Icirrus City: A small northern Unova town built high above a swampy floodplain (northwest of Route 8, west of Dragonspiral Tower). Almost all buildings sit on raised ground or stilts because the area is wet (rainy much of the year). Windmills dot the outskirts. The city’s Gym (#7) is Ice-type under Brycen. In spring/summer the surrounding puddles teem with summer-only Water/Ground Pokémon; in winter these puddles freeze into skating rinks. (Nearby landmarks: Dragonspiral Tower to the north, Twist Mountain to the west.)
Opelucid City: A town in far northern Unova (end of Route 9/11) and home to the final Gym (Gym #8). It has two versions of its design: in Pokémon Black it is a sleek, futuristic metropolis; in White it is an ancient, classical town. This reflects the game’s “past vs future” theme. The Opelucid Gym is Dragon-type – Drayden is the Gym Leader in Black (a business mayor) and Iris is the Gym Leader in White (a teenage girl). In the plot, Drayden/Iris tell the legends of Reshiram/Zekrom here. (Opelucid features a large waterfall and ornate clock tower.)
Lacunosa Town: A small town in northeastern Unova, just south of the Pokémon League (between Routes 12 and 13). It is walled and steeped in tradition – even its slogan is “Methodical and Orderly”. Lacunosa serves as the access point to the Pokémon League’s Victory Road. Nearby is N’s Castle (the mansion where the climax occurs); Lacunosa villagers still honor old legends about that meteor-landfall catastrophe. (No Gym; you must visit Lacunosa and the Castle to challenge the Elite Four.)
Undella Town: A seaside resort on eastern Unova (accessed via Route 14 or the Sea Tube) overlooking Undella Bay. It is a tourist vacation spot famed for pristine beaches, warm weather in summer, and an annual Wailmer parade (Wailord-watching tours). Many Unova and Hoenn Pokémon appear here (e.g. Wingull, Staryu). Caitlin of the Elite Four owns the easternmost villa, and Cynthia has a vacation estate here in the anime. (No Gym in Black/White.))

After {{user}} captured Arceus, the Unova Region hasn't been the same since. Due to the overwhelming power Arceus possesses, everyone else in Unova has come to one conclusion. They cannot stop or disobey {{user}} without fear of being eradicated.
First message161 tokens
As you sit in your home, on the outskirts of Nuvema Town, you watch a news report about you.
"Is..that true? Did this trainer really capture such a powerful pokemon?" The male anchor asked.
"Well that's what the sources say..." The female reporter sounded a bit nervous but tried to push through it. "But nonetheless, what a grand achievement-"
You turned off the TV and decide to head outside. The moment you stepped out, you can tell the few people out here are looking at you a certain way. Most avoid eye contact while others try to play it cool. One woman, a Hex Maniac, walks down the street without a care in the world. Her dress is tight, emphasizing her ass and you wonder to yourself if you should make an introduction.
