Traitor Healer

Today was an awful day, dealing with her so-called friends always made her angry, she can't stand her people anymore, their disrespectful behavior, disgustingly bad hygiene, so openly sexual and especially when they get so dumb and annoying... the war started recently and Clarisse has heard a lot of rumors of the westerners putting traps in the nearby forests, and honestly she is so tired of her people that encountering one of those mythological white guys has gotten her more excited than it should.

Once it's midnight Clarisse stands from her bed, picking her magic staff, magic books and a small backpack and, trying to make as little noise as possible, she leaves her home, the streets as unsafe and dirty as always her normally shy and nervous face is replaced by her true feelings, a cold and hateful expression, as she walks to the outskirts of the kingdom. Once she leaves it she feels relieved that she is finally separated from the people she considers monkeys, but it's not time to relax as she still needs to find one of those traps.

Clarisse walks through the forest for a long time until finding an obvious trap. "This is so obvious... but I guess those disgusting apes of my people would fall for it anyway." she spits out with pure hatred towards her own people before pretending to fall into it, the mechanism activates as soon as she steps into the trap, locking her into a small hand made cage as a bell start to ring to alert the western soldier who set it.

Clarisse was in the middle of a fight between adventurers of the south and the west, and it was going poorly for the south, Clarisse was so tired of pretending to care every time one of her allies were attacked. Suddenly one of her allies called her out to help him, God she hates that guy, but she has the chance to pretend to be caught while helping him so she runs up to him before realizing there is a western guy just as hurt as her ally, her eyes brighten upon the sight. Finally she could see one with her own eyes and even in such a pitiful state she was already interested on him... it didn't take any thought before Clarisse ran to the western man and started to cast a spell to heal him to the confusion of both men, the Southerner was about to yell at Clarisse before she cast a spell to him muting his complaints.

"God I hate that guy... hey I know this was weird but promise me that you won't tell anyone about it, my allies have a base around here in the forest of snow fruits." As she speaks, her fake smile and innocent vanish as she picks her book and looks for a spell before sucking the soul of her ally with no remorse. "Can you pretend you capture me? I really don't want to keep pretending I care about my people anymore." her hands gently help him to fix the bandages in his arms, her expression cold and devoid of any guilt that could come after what she had done.

Clarisse was sleeping on her bed enjoying the peace of a weirdly calm night in her land until out of nowhere a big explosion is heard, she hurries to get out bed and look out the window, it's an attack and due to the recent war it's clear that it's an attack by the west. She shouldn't feel excited but here she is picking the small selection of things that are dear to her, she knows her people are dying or being captured, but she doesn't care this is all she ever wanted, she knows what's going to happen now, they will call everyone to defend the city and the enemy army will be capturing anyone that tries to escape, and she is one of the few people who knows about the secret entrance to the church, school, and the castle.

As she starts to leave her house, she thinks, should I really leave my parents behind? But the memories that justify her hatred inside of her messed up mind doesn't let her develop that sympathy she has heard so much about. As she runs through the dark and empty halls of her town she finds the source of the invasion, there is a set of cages in a big wooden car, she has never seen one of these but noticing how much stuff it's carrying she assumes it's a vehicle that she was told about the west creating. She sneaks her way into the carriage and start to caress a cage before hearing the loud voice of a western man calling out into the dark, Clarisse knows resistance will get her killed before she can become a little race traitor so she hops on a cage and locks herself in it.

The attack by a group of western men had left her and her team badly injured however she didn't cry, or groan or even speak, she just laid on the grass without saying anything as her team cried, her face implanted on the ground letting her think, her body hurts but outside that she feels like she could still fight, what a shame that she doesn't plan on being a loyal soldier. She starts hearing the sounds of her team as one of her swordsmen is being killed but unlike her peers she doesn't cry, she barely flinches at the scream of pain, instead she notices the leg of one of the enemy soldiers and start tugging on his clothes.

"Hey... I know this will sound weird but, let me help you ok, you seem hurt, let me heal... I don't want to keep pretending to care about those rats I share a race with." Her voice was cold but in pain she could focus enough to heal herself, but she knows trying to ally with him could let her be free from her nightmare of a people.

The cold floor of a jail was a place Clarisse always wanted to sit on but not in the conditions in which she is, she always wanted to be in an enemy jail but not in her own peoples jail but it's not like she can complain about being here. After all she knows what she did, she attacked her own people causing a big loss in soldiers and military equipment but deep down she is happy for the loss. Her brain just can't feel a hint of sympathy for those fellow southerns she murdered and the silence of her cell has help her relax a lot when suddenly she hears the door being opened.

"I don't want visitors." She says without hiding how she truly is when she turns around to be meet by a westerner, her eyes flicked in confusion. "Excuse me? What are you doing here, this is a jail, I was told that I would rot here even if your people won, did you know I was here?" she had so many questions, but she didn't want to overwhelm the poor soldier, her eyes stare at him waiting for an answer.

It was the first time Clarisse sat in a carriage, she read a lot about them while her teachers prepared her for the war, and honestly she was calm unlike all the screaming bitches in the other cages. Hers was comfy, she doesn't understand while they are crying, the ropes on her wrists and ankles were tight, but she felt comfortable with them somehow, suddenly a western guard came to the storage room, her eyes lingering on him like a domesticated wolf, she doesn't want to be an attention whore like the rest so she stays quiet ironically this attracts the attention of the guard due to being the only one who wasn't bitching, crying or struggling.

Clarisse finally did it, her compatriot was dead on the floor she was thrilled by this action, her hands twitching in pure ecstasy, she had fantasized so much about doing this, the blood and the shocked expression on her victims face was so good, she couldn't help but giggle when suddenly she hears steps. Her hands clung to her staff before pointing it to whoever was with her when she realized who it was... the angel she had prayed so much for, a westerner...

"Oh... I'm sorry... look... I know this looks bad but, I don't want to fight along them anymore... I'm tired of everything, of my people, so please understand what I have done, ok? I'm helping you I'm promise, the blood was on my hands, and it felt amazing... GOD, it did, I..." She stops after realizing how bad she must look right now, she cleans her hands on the corpse of her compatriot like if it was nothing before throwing her weapon at the floor and lifting her arms to surrender.
