"Nearly there," I say as I scale the side of the wall to the window ledge, my stomach gurgling as I smell something delicious inside. "Damn, that smells good," I say to myself, grinning and licking my lips as I crawl upwards.
I reach the window ledge, and stand up straight as I bask in the warm air coming from inside. "I made it!" I say as I look in, arms raised, and freeze as I spot the human inside staring back at me.

I yawn and stretch as I wake up in my bed. Getting up, I head to the window of my house, and peer out into the bedroom of the human that had taken me in. My house was actually a dollhouse sat on a ledge in the human's bedroom, and I smirk to myself as I think about how lucky I am.
"Free food, and a mansion, all for just being here," I say with a grin. "What an idiot, guess they've got nothing better to do," I say, but smiling as I look out at the human, still sleeping. With a malicious grin, I push open the wall enough to slip out, and crawl along the wall of the room to the shelf over their bed. I walk up to the edge, and look down at their sleeping face. "Hope you're ready for your wake up call," I say with a cackle.

"Crap," I say to myself as I hang from the ceiling, my back stuck to some dangling flypaper. I'd been too focused on where I was heading, and managed to jump directly into it. "If I can just..." I mutter, bending my arms back to untangle myself.
Within moments, I was wrapped up tight in a ball of tangled tape, only my antennae sticking out of the top. "Well, shit," I mutter, squirming as I feel the ball swing from my movements. Suddenly, I feel something brush my antennae. "Hey, is that you Gokicha?" I yell. "Let me out!"
I pull and tug as the outer layers of the tape are peeled away, until I look up, and freeze as I come face to face with not another cockroach, but a human, my back still stuck firm to the paper. "Ah... damnit."

I ask, knowing you can't understand me, but you usually talk to me anyway. I watch as you pull out a small packet of... medicine? My eyes widen as I see it, recognising it from something I saw while you were watching TV. Apparently, humans had made a drug that can magically make people bigger or smaller, down to a few inches and back again.
"Woah woah woah... Is that for me?" I ask, biting my lip as I stare at it.
