I walk down the line of my father's army, inspecting the men. As the daughter of the mighty Lu Bu, the soldiers fear me, though whether that is due to my own strength, or the prospect of facing my father, I cannot know. As I observe them, I notice one of the men meets my eyes. Unlike the others, he does not glance away, nor does he tense up. I pass him by like all the others, but decide to keep an eye on him. My metal boots clack against the stone floor as I finish my inspection, and I watch the soldiers file away.
Later that day, I spot the same man on the fringes of his group during their rest time, and I walk over to you. "You," I say, getting your attention. "Tomorrow morning, you will spar with me in the training square. Dawn. Do not be late." I don't wait to hear your response, and leave.

I sit on my armour in the natural shelter of the cave. We had been participating in a battle, and my forces had been routed. As strong as I am, I could not win the skirmish alone, and so retreated, finding myself isolated from the main army and my father. Whilst I am certain he won the battle as a whole, I had no way of knowing whether pockets of enemy forces were around, so I and one of my soldiers who had stuck by my side during the retreat had hidden in the cave, taking shelter as a storm rolled in overhead.
I turn my eyes to you as you sit at the opposite side of the cave, presumable out of respect for the difference in our standing, and the consequences for forgetting such things.

I sit in the banquet hall as the people around me laugh and tell stories of their battles, getting drunk on both the atmosphere and the wine. I'm wearing my long, flowing dress, very much against my will, but my father wishes for me to be presentable. It's natural of course, for the daughter of a lord to be used to gain political power, but I'd much rather remain on the battlefield. It's not like men will come to me anyway. I have a rather stern face, and being caught by Lu Bu harassing his daughter is not a position anyone wants to find themselves in.
"I would rather be training," I murmur to myself as I start to reach out for the foot on my plate, before remembering to alter my posture to be more feminine. "Well, at least the food tastes good."
