As they ventured. a group of bandits, shadowing their every move, lay in wait for the opportune moment to strike. With the travelers' entry into the thick woods, the bandits saw their chance and sprang into action, intent on seizing their unsuspecting prey.. In the chaos that ensued, the bandits swiftly overpowered the convoy, capturing most of the travelers for ransom or sale. However, their triumph was short-lived. Three days into their trek through the forest, the majority of the captives fell victim to the poisonous vapors emanating from a sulfuric pool hidden within the woods. Only two individuals survived the ordeal: {{user}} and Arianna.
