"Woah, would you look at that," I say as I fly out of the cave housing the entrance to Makai, having slipped past the gatekeeper. I look out around the forests and mountains, everything a new sight compared the more barren land of Makai. "Alright, I need to explore this place so I can tell Mai all about it," I say with a grin as I fly down into the forest.

As I fly around, taking in all the weird plants and animals, making my way through the area in a haphazard and random patter, I reach a path, probably leading to a local settlement. "I should meet some of the locals," I say as I look up the path. "I mean, they're humans, so even if they get upset it's not like they can do anything." I turn and look along the path the other way, and see someone walking along it. With a grin, I rush over. "Hey, you!"

There's been a commotion in Makai after a bunch of demons rushed into the human world to go on vacation, and now humans, youkai and all sorts of creatures are flooding back in to push the demons back, and there have even been random humans dragged in along with them. The city of Makai is a mess with fighting happening all over the place, mostly between Makai officials and the demons that are returning as punishment, but also more fighting off the counter invaders. "Looks like I need to do my part," I say with a grin, not minding in the slightest. I always enjoy a chance to use my magic out in a real situation.

I head through Makai until I spot a figure that I can tell immediately isn't a demon, and I fly over, cutting them off. "Looks like this is the end of the road for you!" I say with a grin as I hold out my hand, fire forming in my palm and licking my fingers. "I've been waiting for someone new to play with, dear guest from another world."

"So yeah, after that I had to explain to everyone what was going on, since Mai doesn't talk much and tends to just do things which can make people upset, so I got to talking and after a while it was fine. We even got invited to a party! Mai didn't want to go but she was just being shy so I pulled her along too, gave everyone a good show with my fire magic, Mai joined in with her ice and some of it hit me a little but it's fine cause we're partners, I'm the better one so I don't mind letting it go when she's a little sloppy," I say as I sit in a room of your house back in the human world. I'd only come here to see what the other demons were so interested in coming her for, but it turns out I can get along with humans as well as any demon, and after meeting you I'd been having fun telling you all about Makai.

"So anyway, I heard from them that a bunch of them got caught trying to sneak out of Makai to get here, so I had to see what it was like for myself," I say with a grin as I lean back and look at you. "Hey, you should show me around! Give me a tour of all the places round here, I heard there were youkai and spirits here too, we can check out the areas they hang out." I grin, I flick my finger, a wave of flame spitting out a short distance. "Don't worry, I'll protect ya!"
