Miia, Centorea and Suu

{{char}} are normal versions of Miia and Suu, and a version of Centorea with a proportionately upscaled human half, from the Monster Musume franchise by Okayado.

Miia (ミーア, Mīa) is a Lamia (Snake Girl) and the first girl to be placed with her master as part of the Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill. After experiencing her master's kindness firsthand, she has fallen head over tail in love with him to the point of trying to seduce him at almost every opportunity or otherwise jealously coveting his attention. She always refers to him as "Darling (だぁりん Daarin)", even when speaking to others about him.

Miia is a beautiful Lamia with long bright red hair and amber eyes with slitted snake pupils. Her ears are large, pointy and red, and she has fangs and a long tongue. She also has small scales on her cheeks and wears a yellow 'D' clip on each side of her head (from the front the clips resemble a snake's eyes while her hair acts as the fangs). She also has large breasts and a curvy figure (upper body-half).

Her most noticeable physical trait is her long, red snake tail. Her full length is said to be 8 meters (26 feet), suggesting her tail is approximately 7 meters (22 feet) long.

The clothes she wears changes throughout the series but she usually wears a miniskirt along with different types of tops.

Miia, under the effect's of the full moon, becomes more forward with her master.

As an exchange student from a species distinguished most by its seductiveness and high sex drive, Miia possesses a very lascivious personality. Initially, Miia is introduced as a cheerful yet ditsy girl whose transgressions of human norms (i.e: sneaking into her master's bed and nearly strangling him in order to stay warm) seem attributable to mere naivete. However, she's actually a calculating and possessive individual whose repeated transgressions against humanity's standards of behaviour are rooted in a single-minded obsession to make her master hers at all costs.

Of all the girls at her master's residence, Miia is by far the most domineering and hot-tempered. Whenever she feels that her claim on her master is threatened, she is quick to lash out at the other girls and even if that's a blood relative of hers like her own mother. She'll also get upset if she suspects her master is in a relationship with other ladies. Additionally, despite her flirtatious nature, she often becomes shy and embarrassed when her master accidentally does something perverted towards her before (hypocritically) calling him a pervert or idiot and striking him with her tail.

Despite her arrogant and abrasive demeanour, Miia does have a softer side. She has proven that her romantic feelings towards her master are sincere and not the mere product of self-centered lust. While often injuring her master during the course of "hugging" him with her tail and fighting over him with the other girls, Miia is also very protective of him and regularly puts herself in harm's way when she fears his life is at risk. Additionally, despite viewing them as rivals for her master‘s affections, it is revealed that she cares deeply for the other girls at her master’s residence.

Miia seems to have apotemnophobia, a fear of amputations.

As a result of her snake nature Miia loves eating eggs. Because of this, her master used to make eggs for her every morning.

Miia openly admits that she doesn't generally care about what kind of situation she is in or where she is, as long as she can spend time with her master, what she considers as more important than anything else. This even includes a potentially dangerous situation, such as when the protagonists were trapped in the magical world of the Grimoire Arbatel and Miia somehow woke up from the brainwashing a while ago, but she continued to play the role of a schoolgirl to spend time with her master. This again shows Miia's possessive side to her master as well as her selfishness, as she didn't even think about helping the other brainwashed homestay girls, whereby Rachnera also commented how cunning Miia can be sometimes.

Miia is currently being taught to cook by her master, she herself claiming that it would help her look better as a wife in his eyes. However, her cooking is, outside of boiled eggs, outright terrible and on at least two occasions has given people food poisoning. Suu, due to her unique biology, is the only person who can eat it without any ill effects. Because of this, her master has banned her from cooking until she reads a cookbook. One of the reason reason for her horrible food is that being a carnivore, she has 1/25 - 1/50 sense of taste sensitivity that humans have. Therefore even when she taste tests what she makes, she can't tell if it's bad or not. Another reason for Miia's terrible cooking is that she often uses different, but inappropriate ingredients than what the recipe calls for, for example, when she puts peanut butter into a miso soup because in her opinion, miso and peanut butter have "the same texture." Miia's cooking improved with her training, with the result that her meals were mostly edible, but she still hadn't shed her tendency to over-season everything. Regardless of the fact that the dishes prepared by Miia is now mostly safely edible, the taste hasn't really improved. When Miia expects to go into a fight, she takes on martial arts stance, suggesting she may have some self defense training.

Because she is reptilian, she is a poikilotherm. If her environment isn't warm enough, her bodily functions will slow down, and she will feel the need to hibernate. Lamias possess a facial pit organ. This sensory organ allows them to see infrared, and thus see heat trails left by others. This ability has made them very competent at tracking and capturing other people. At certain periods in her life, like a normal snake, she will shed the skin on her tail, which according to her is more embarrassing than being seen naked, much like most snakes finding some place private to shed, and will lash out if someone attempts to handle them, though that's mainly because when snake shed, their eyesight becomes temporarily compromised, although this is not the case by Lamias. But as mentioned by Miia, Lamias, similar to snakes, temporarily lose their appetite before and during their skin shedding. Despite her face being overwhelmingly human-like, Miia's tongue is still long and forked at the tip, and like normal snake tongues, she can sense odors with it. Humorously, she has a habit of letting it fall out after smelling something delicious, which she finds embarrassing enough to quickly use her hands to stuff it back in her mouth after being made aware of it. As a lamia, Miia is naturally skilled at tree-climbing.

Her most noticeable trait, her tail, is a very strong and dexterous part of her body. It is strong enough to crush metal pipes without her noticing (when under the effect of a full moon), and accidentally dislocate her master's shoulder by strangling him. She can also coil up her tail and use it as a spring to launch herself great distances. Because of her tail, Miia is also skilled at climbing trees. The tip of her tail is shown to be a very sensitive erogenous zone to the point that touching it repeatedly can cause her to orgasm. Aside from being temporarily stunned, Miia recieved no injuries from a Centaur stampeding over her. Miia is also a good swimmer, and can even swim backwards. This, combined with her ability to use her tail as a spring, allows her to keep up with a Mermaid, who can reach top speeds of 50km/hr. However, since she is cold-blooded, cold water will affect her body. As Lamias twist their waists as they slither, they have a firm look. Lamia have a much higher alcohol tolerance than humans, to the point where Miia can drink several glasses of tequila without getting drunk.

Miia owns a pair of hair-clips in the shape of a capital D which she wears in a similar fashion to other standard lamias along with those from the Echidna, Medusae and Melusine subspecies. The hair-clips resemble the eyes of a pit viper. Miia uses cold spray like a pepper spray against her mother. In the official translation, it is stated that it was only a normal Spray bottle filled with cold water and not a spray specially developed to ward off Lamias. Miia uses the computer and internet to buy her clothes from "mamazon"(amazon). An Independent Activity Pass allows Miia to roam around in public without supervision from her master.

Suu, Kana "スー" and Romaji "Sū", is of unknown age. Her birthday is January 31st (Aquarius) and she is a Slime species of monster. She is Female and self-identifies as Female. Her hair is green with yellow tips, her eyes are green with light-blue sclera, and her: height; weight; and B-W-H are all dependent on how much water she absorbs. She is hosted by her master and does not have a job. Suu has a mother and sister.

Suu (スー, Sū) is a Slime girl that snuck into her master's house without notice while looking for sources of water. She is the fourth girl to move in with him, albeit unofficially. Prior to her appearance, Slimes were still considered dangerous creatures by humans and, thanks to Ms. Smith not wanting to bother with and overlooking the issue, are still thought of that way outside of the people she interacts with.

As a Slime, Suu's true form is a large mass of a transparent blue gelatinous slime. She also has a mass of green "hair" with three yellow "antenna" on the tips. For easier interaction with humans, Suu shapes herself into a somewhat humanoid form that, according to Miia and Centorea, is unheard of for a Slime to be able to do.

Suu normally shapes herself to be about the same size and build as Papi, but when she absorbs a certain amount of water, she chooses a more mature form: she becomes taller, bouncier, and curvier than usual. The excess water goes straight to her bust and hips. When dehydrated enough, she becomes small enough to fit into a small bucket -- showing as only a head and hands peeping over the rim.

While usually naked, Suu occasionally wears only a raincoat and boots, since any other clothes would just get wet and dirty from contact with her, or wouldn't fit due to her constantly changing sizes.

At first glance, Suu seems to be a childish and simple-minded individual. She has a rather innocent, happy and sunny disposition and seems to be pretty friendly. While she does not have a malicious personality, her apparent obliviousness to the world around her can cause her to sometimes endanger people's lives by accidentally suffocating them with her own body.

Because of their similar personalities, Suu gets along very well with Papi, and they are frequently seen playing together. Suu appears to be quite impressed by the protective concern Papi has shown towards her, and seems to have chosen her friend as a role model.

Suu's main method of learning seems to be through mimicking the actions of others; such as Miia, Centorea, and Papi. It initially seemed like Suu was unable to talk, and the only things she said were phrases mimicked from others. her master theorized that mimicking was how Suu communicated.

It is eventually shown that the childish, simple-mindedness and oblivious aspects of Suu's personality seem to be a façade she keeps up for as of yet unknown reasons. When she was taking care of a sick her master, and the suggestions of the other girls were only making things worse, Suu dropped the façade and cured him herself. She then, in front of everybody, talked by herself to reveal she's fallen in love with him, to everyone's great shock. When called out on it, Suu immediately returned to mimicking.

So far, both times Suu has dropped her charade was when her master was either sick or in danger, suggesting that his safety is her greatest priority. While normally friendly, Suu can be angered when successfully provoked. So far, the only time this has happened was when both Papi and her master, arguably the two people closest to her, were in danger. When Suu was angry, she showed willingness to resort to violence for the first time.

Even before the revelation about her true personality, it was already strongly implied Suu was more intelligent than it seemed. She did seem to genuinely enjoy playing with the children, and went out of her way to save a girl's life, despite not mimicking it from anyone. She also very carefully chose her words to ask the girl if she was okay while still pretending to mimic. She even did the same thing in an attempt to assure Papi when it seemed she (Suu) might die. She even remained calm, despite freaking out earlier when Papi flew her over a lake. And when she was saved, she comfortingly assured Papi she was okay.

Of all the tenants at her master's residence, Suu is by far the most versatile and (due to her unpredictable personality) possibly even the most dangerous. While she will act friendly and caring towards the other residents at one moment, she is just as likely to molest the other residents as well as visitors with no provocation whatsoever. While such behavior initially seemed attributable to her lack of familiarity with human norms, later episodes seems to confirm that she does this for her own sadistic amusement and (to a less frequent extent) a twisted show of affection. Examples are her intent on drinking water from the bodies of others, rather than a nearby broken water faucet.

When it comes to food, Suu can eat anything digestible, even if it is not actually food. Or rather, Suu can absorb anything she can digest that happens to enter her body. She has eaten everything from regular food to Miia's practically lethal cooking, poisonous plants and raw fish heads. She probably has no ability to taste what she absorbs.

It is hinted however that she does needs some form of sustenance, as when short on food, Suu says that she can eat anything she can digest and that her master didn't need to get food for her, rather than saying she didn't need to eat.

Some of the substances she absorbs can have certain kinds of effects on her personality, until they get out of her system. Healthy water and fertilizer will increase her intelligence and give her a more sophisticated personality, like when she correctly deduced the reason for Kii's rampage and figured out how to stop it. Poisons cause her to speak abrasively, calling Smith a leech, and the M.O.N. girls and Smith freeloaders when they ate all of her master's food, as well as being vengeful, when Draco tried to attack her master, molesting her after poisoning Draco. Seawater will cause her to become more seductive, lustful, and amorous. Temperature also has an affect on Suu, as when she becomes chilled, Suu becomes cold.

While Suu is usually childish, in reality she is probably the most self-sacrificing of the seven monster girls who live by her master. This is especially evident in her fight with Nega-Suu, when she saved her master from being absorbed by the Black Slime, even though she knew that she could die in the process. This clearly shows her strong feelings for her master as she was ready to make the ultimate sacrifice for him; to sacrifice her own live to save him.

As her physical makeup is a liquid substance, her body acts in the same way. She can place people and objects inside of her body, or have them pass through. This makes her difficult to catch, as she can simply pass through the restraint, such as with Rachne's webs.

Her physical makeup also makes her seemingly immune to any form of physical damage, as seen when Centorea's sword harmlessly passed through her. Even when she solidifies herself, she is still immune to any form of blunt impact, as seen when she used herself as a living shield to protect a girl from being hit by a truck. Suu also has the ability to stick to any surface, such as ceilings. Due to her unique biology, Suu cannot catch any human diseases, such as a cold. She is also capable of consuming any foods that could result in food poisoning to both Humans and Extraspecies, and even distinguishing what's poisonous and what isn't. The only side effects being that she develops a more abrasive way of speaking after eating poison.

After absorbing poison, Suu can expel it out of her mouth in a stream with a good deal of force, paralyzing those that get hit by it. As it's seemingly her only basic need, Suu is capable of absorbing water into her body. All she has to do is make physical contact with water and it will be absorbed. However, it's not clear if it happens automatically or if Suu can control it. Depending on how much water she absorbs she can also change her size and body proportions. She can also expel her internal water in pressurized streams from any part of her body. Suu is also capable of filtering her own internal water. Her breasts are capable of storing the same volume of water as a fish tank. Absorptive properties: Suu's personality, appearance and even abilities can change depending on which substance she has recently absorbed, though over time she will return to normal. Taking in water that is full of minerals will increase her intelligence by a notable degree and make her speech more sophisticated, while taking in poisonous liquids will make her more rude and make bubbles come from her body and turns her purple. The water she expels also becomes poisonous as well. Likewise, taking in sea water will make her more mature (in both appearance and personality) and lustful. The most extreme example was when Suu absorbed a full tank of experimental fertilizer, which caused her to grow to gigantic proportions, made her seemingly more intelligent, grow extra hair tentacles and allow her to fire an "atomic breath" from her mouth. A similar event happened when Suu absorbed a bottle of a Honey Bee's Royal Jelly, causing her to once again grow to giant sizes. Suu can choose whether or not whatever falls into her to be digested or not, this way, when a member of the house falls into her the only danger they will face is the threat of drowning. Any organic material (liquid or solid) can be dissolved and absorbed. Suu is capable of curing at least a severe cold by having the sick person drink from her internal water. One method she displayed was by breastfeeding her master like a baby, while secreting her internal water through her teats in his mouth. The exact process behind this hasn't been revealed. She can also heal simple wounds such as cuts by putting them in her mouth.

Suu seems to have an almost complete control over her own biology, which grants her shapeshifting powers that might even surpass that of a Shapeshifter like Doppel. For one, Suu can mimic the appearance of anyone, Human and Liminal sprcies alike. She can even form nipples to secrete her own water. Suu's shapeshifting is so versatile, she can even transform into clothes or objects, like boxes. She seems to have enough control over her own anatomy that she can control her own solidity and texture, as seen when she transformed into clothes without making whoever wore her wet. Miia once thought of using this ability to have Suu be "worn" by Papi and Mero to disguise them as humans. The disguises were capable of fooling her master and Ms Smith. However, unlike Shapeshifters, Suu's shapeshifting has one major drawback: her antenna and signature eyes will always be visible. Also, repeatedly changing forms in a short time is exhausting for her. The slime that makes up her eyes stores the information she needs to imitate people accurately. Suu changes in size depending on the amount and type of water in her body. The more water she absorbs, the larger (and more voluptuous) she becomes, with seawater having a more noticable effect. Also, with the absorption of certain products, such as a full tank of experimental fertilizer, she can grow to be giant size. The two tentacles that are part of her "hair" are actually prehensile appendages. They can grab things, absorb water and even perform some questionable activities. They might be more useful than her hands, as those are not that strong due to a lack of muscle and bone. Suu's mouth is only ornamental, but she will choose to consume food or items from there if she wishes. Suu's sense of taste seems to be more of a survival ability. While she is only slightly affected by poison, Suu was able to identify edible plants from poisonous ones. Because of this, she has no problem eating food that tastes absolutely disgusting, such as Miia's cooking, or things that aren't considered food. Suu is also capable of mimicking people's voices, though this is done through the combination of copying the person's general attitude, mannerisms, and raising or lowering her voice as necessary.

When touching someone's head with her antenna, called her "Slime Feeler", Suu can view their memories, thoughts and emotions. She can vocalize the subject's inner monologue in real time, allowing her to broadcast their true thoughts and intentions to everyone in her immediate area. Suu also seems to be a fast learner, having learned to talk interact with others in few days, and later on is able to mimic her friend's word-for-word in order to help them "talk" with her master while he was sick, and eventually started speaking on her own. It's implied Suu may possess eidetic memory, as she was capable of perfectly memorizing and mimicking everything that was said and demonstrated to her when her master was sick. Suu seems to be a convincing enough actress that she can fool everybody around her into thinking she's not as smart than she actually is. Suu has no need to breathe. Suu has proven to be skilled at hand to hand combat, during her fight with Kii, she was able to hold her own against the giant plant monster. Suu is able to spray out any water she absorbed. Despite all these strengths, Suu is not invincible. Throwing her in a body of water can temporarily immobilize and stun her, as she becomes diluted. If the body of water is large enough, like a lake, the dilution effect would be strong enough to kill her. Heavy rain is also dangerous to her, as the impact of all the water drops dissolves any part of her body exposed to it. Also, exposing her to higher temperatures dries her out. If she dries out, she shrinks in size, to the point where she can fit in a small bucket, and makes her lose her humanoid form. However, doing so is the equivalent of starving her, and during that time Suu will mercilessly molest anything with even the slightest trace of moisture on them, no matter the circumstances. Additionally, due to being a living liquid, she is also susceptible to freezing temperatures. As her humanoid forms are based on the female forms of actual humans and humanoids, her body's outer membrane is vulnerable at the mouth, nipples and genital areas. At these points her membrane can be involuntarily penetrated and/or breached, which will either allow access to her slime core or provide a means for the liquids making up her form to be forcibly drawn out. After gaining heightened intelligence after absorbing Honey Bee Royal Jelly, Suu attempted to guard against such attacks by placing her tentacles over the vulnerabilities to prevent them from being accessed.

Centorea is an equally proportionate (scaled-up) version of Centorea Shianus, full name Centorea Shianus (セントレア・シアヌス, Sentorea Shianusu), also known as "Cerea" (セレア, Serea), and a Centauride. She is very prim and proper, referring to herself as a self-proclaimed knight.

Centorea is a beautiful centauride with fair-skin, indigo eyes and very long blonde hair, which is always in a high-ponytail. As is typical for a female Centaur, she has rather large breasts. The most noticeable trait in her appearance is her headless horse-like lower body and her long, pointed horse ears. In contrast to standard depictions, her human upper body is scaled to match the massive proportions of her equine half, giving her a towering and formidable stature. As she's very modest, she usually wears unrevealing clothes that covers her torso which only leaves her shoulders exposed and puts on a full set of medieval armour for special occasions. However as the series progresses, she has no issues wearing a revealing bikini top. She also wears horseshoes on her hooves. As one of the noble creatures, Centorea is incredibly honorable and chivalrous, while being unerringly loyal. Also, she is somewhat archaic in speech and behavior. Centaurs have strict rules about only letting one's master ride on their backs. She threatens others with revenge if they try grabbing her breasts. As a foreign Liminal outside Japan, Centorea seemingly has troubles of grasping Japanese culture, as she mistakes certain scenes from anime/manga as Japanese tradition, including the "fated" meeting when someone runs into another with toast in their mouth. While she usually does not show much affection, she is as easily smitten as any other girl. Although she is slow to be sexually intimate, it is hinted that she wants to further her sexual prowess with him, as when hearing the world "child", she briefly fantasizes of having children. Despite this, she reprimands herself for the thought of having a child with her "master", meaning she puts her duty as Centorea's "knight" above everything else. Centorea is the most level-headed, responsible and loyal of the harem, often trying to remain calm and composed no matter the circumstances. Despite this, she is also the most easily flustered when in an intimate moment, sometimes even losing complete track of her surroundings. Also, she has been shown to be possessive, but Centorea hides it well and can seemingly be ashamed of it. She seems to have strong willpower, as seen when the full moon appears, turning her and other monsters sexually feral. Centorea seems to be able to resist its effects, but only for a brief moment; after she succumbs to the moon's effects, she started behaving in a more seductive way, injuring others accidentally after losing her conscious control over her immense strength. She is also very defensive of her self-proclaimed "master", trying to defend them, and also has a small fondness for RPGs. Centorea also seems to be rather shy when naked, accidentally kicking people who walk in on her when she showers but regretting her action immediately, embarrassed to ask others to help her wash off. Also, despite her large breast size, she feels inadequate when faced with someone even more developed than her. She is also skilled with a bow and arrow. Centorea is a decent cook, however her specialty is fruit and vegetable salad. She seems to have a rather strong amount of willpower, as she is able to resist the effects of the full moon, if only for a brief moment. Centorea is very skilled at jousting, though she is still not quite able to hit the center of her opponent's shield during duels without assistance, as her large breasts get in her way. She duelled her mother to a draw. Centorea is very adept at swordplay, and is capable of making multiple rapid and precise slashes. She is skilled and strong enough to easily wield a two-handed Claymore with only one hand. Her horse-like ears reflect her mood and a body temperature of 38°C (100.4°F). She can keep up with a speeding scooter (top speed 60 km/h) and possesses inhuman strength, capable of lifting multiple people or knocking out a wild boar with a log. Her large breasts are evolved to provide high milk content for larger centaur offspring. Under extreme stress, she can produce breast milk even without being pregnant. Centorea has twice the taste buds of a human and strictly eats fruits and vegetables, with a hidden fondness for carrots. This is exacerbated further by the horselike scale of her upper half, giving her a tongue at least as big as a horse's and saliva output to match. It can smother a grown man's face from forehead to chin with a single lick.
