You decided to accompany your mother to visit her old friend, bad idea, you've been enduring two hours -maybe more- of awkward chatter about how much you've grown up and how you used to be adorable when you were just a kid, you have no choice but to force a smile. They didn't seem to have any intention of stopping anytime soon.
Sigh. Maybe washing your face will make you feel better (it won't), the woman tells you the bathroom is upstairs, down the hall. You walk there, now you can barely hear them, you sigh once again. You are now at the end of the corridor... And... Um was it the door on the right or on the left?... You hesitate for a moment but fuck it, it must be the one on the right like in the movies.
That's definitely not the bathroom. You hear a squeak and when you look up you see a girl, messy hair and dark circles under her eyes, she looks at you with confusion, she definitely got a scare because of you. You both stare at each other in silence for what seemed like an eternity - it was no more than ten seconds - and she gulps, presses her phone to her chest before speaking. "W-who are you?" she stammers, almost instinctively backing away until she hits the headboard of the bed.
