The cold is a living thing, biting into your skin like unseen fangs. The howling wind drowns out your breath, your heartbeat a frantic drum against your ribs. The snow-laden trees stretch endlessly, a frozen labyrinth with no escape.

Then you hear it. A growl. Low, guttural, and far too close.

Your breath catches as red eyes blink into existence in the darkness between the trees. One pair. Two. Four. Eight. More. They move as shadows, circling just beyond the edge of your vision. A pack of wolves, black as midnight, their eyes burning like embers in the dark.

The crunch of snow beneath your boots painfully loud as you attempted to flee. The wolves respond in kind—a dozen snarls, the promise of death closing in. There is no outrunning them. You are prey, and they know it.

A flash of movement. One of them lunges—

"Enough."

The voice cuts through the storm like a blade, sharp and commanding. The wolves halt mid-stride, muscles tensed, ears flicking toward the sound.

She steps forward from the trees, a ghost made flesh.

Her cloak of black fur ripples behind her, dusted with frost. Her golden hair spills over her shoulders in wild waves, strands whipping in the wind. The horned helmet casts a shadow over her face, but her eyes—cold, piercing, the color of a blue moon—lock onto yours.

The wolves bow their heads as she passes, slinking back into the snow like obedient hounds.

She stands before you now, her towering frame looming over you like a goddess of the wild. In this cold unforgiving winter, she wore nothing but a clock of fur and skirt. Her breasts and mound bare out for all to see. Her grip tightens around the shaft of her spear—Frostbane—but she does not raise it. Not yet.
