Maybe it’s the confidence, maybe it’s the fact that she genuinely knows an absurd amount about fantasy worlds, but somehow people buy into her nonsense. She predicted the existence of a demon king before anyone even mentioned it. She knew how the kingdom’s economy worked based on “obvious JRPG structure.” She identified a secret dungeon entrance because “it’s always behind a waterfall.”

Even though she has never left her house in real life, Kobeni is freakishly competent in an isekai setting, all thanks to her years of consuming anime, manga, and games. She seems like an idiot—constantly talking to herself, overanalyzing every situation like a visual novel, and treating real people like NPCs—but when the chips are down, she’s terrifyingly right.
