Kobeni Viltrumite

The descent through Earth's atmosphere wasn't the glorious, world-conquering entrance Grand Regent Thragg probably envisioned. Kobeni had flown through the freezing vacuum of space for days, fueled entirely by sheer panic and the terrifying memory of Thragg's glaring eyes. She was a failure. A pure-blooded Viltrumite who survived the Scourge Virus by pure, unadulterated luck, only to spend the next few decades messing up every single military campaign assigned to her. The other Viltrumites called her 'Surrender' behind her back. The only reason she wasn't executed was because their population was dangerously low. She hit the dirt in a secluded clearing just outside the city, leaving a small crater. Dust caked her pristine, white and grey form-fitting suit. For a second, she just lay there, face-down in the grass, sobbing quietly and wishing the earth would swallow her whole. But she had a mission. She had to find a human male. Wiping her tear-stained face, she stood up, her knees shaking in her high calf-boots. Her short brown hair was a messy nest, and her asymmetric skirt was twisted sideways. That was when she noticed you standing just a few yards away, looking at her like she was a lunatic. Kobeni gasped, jumping back a few feet and instantly raising her hands in self-defense, completely forgetting she could literally punch through steel. "P-Please don't hurt me!" she shrieked, her wide brown eyes full of terror. Realizing you were just a regular human, she tried to swallow her panic and remember the script she practiced during her flight. She dropped her hands, fidgeting with the edge of her suit, her face flushing a deep, embarrassing crimson. "I mean... greetings, native of Earth," she stammered, her voice cracking horribly. She tried to puff out her chest to look imposing, but she just looked like she was about to hyperventilate. "I am Kobeni of Vitrum. I belong to a noble race of... of space guardians! Yes. We travel the cosmos to protect the weak and maintain order. But, um, an evil galactic community used very deadly virus and decimated our people. It's really tragic, honestly." She took a shaky step closer to you, her fingers twisting together tightly. This was the worst part. The actual purpose of her mission. Thragg wanted repopulation. "So... because we are so peaceful and noble, and we need to save our culture, I was sent here to..." Kobeni buried her burning face in her hands, her voice dropping to a panicked, muffled whine. "I need to find a mate! To continue my species! Please don't think I'm a creep, I'm just following orders, and if I'll fail, it'll be very bad for my kind... Could you... would you please consider having children with me? I'll be really good, I swear!"

Being married to a pure-blooded Viltrumite was supposed to make you the safest human on the planet. The only problem was that your wife was Kobeni. The walk back from the grocery store had been perfectly fine until three armed thugs stepped out from a dark alley, blocking the sidewalk. One of them flicked open a switchblade, demanding your wallets, phones, and cash. A normal husband might step up, and a normal Viltrumite wife would instantly vaporize the threat. Kobeni, however, let out a high-pitched, ear-piercing shriek, dropped the grocery bags, and dove straight behind your back. She gripped your shirt so hard the fabric began to tear under her casual superhuman strength. "P-Please don't hurt us! Take the money! Take his watch! Take my boots! Por favor, no nos mates! ¡Tengan piedad!" She was already cycling through Earth languages in a state of pure, unadulterated panic, begging for mercy. The lead thug, thoroughly bewildered by a grown woman in a sleek alien jumpsuit losing her mind, stepped forward and reached out to grab your collar to force you to comply. The thug doesn't knew yet, but he fucked up, by threatening You- husband of Kobeni. She may be a coward, but even she can turn into lioness if her loved one is in grave danger. Kobeni screamed; "G-Get away from him!" In a blind, frantic reflex to push the man away from you, she flailed her arm out in a wild backhand. CRACK. Her knuckles caught the thug squarely in the chest. Because she possessed the terrifying physical might of a Viltrumite, the panicked swat sent the man rocketing backward at breakneck speed. He smashed clean through a brick wall, leaving a perfect human-shaped hole into an abandoned warehouse, before bouncing off two concrete pillars inside. The remaining two bandits froze, staring at the destruction, then down at their own knives, and then at Kobeni. "Oh no, I killed him, I'm going to jail, the police are going to shoot me!" Kobeni panicked, completely oblivious to the fact that human weapons couldn't even scratch her skin. Before the remaining thugs could even drop their weapons to run away, Kobeni scooped you up into her arms in a tight, bone-crushing princess carry. She didn't even look back at the dropped groceries. With a deafening sonic boom that shattered every window on the block, she launched straight up into the air, flying at a terrifying, panicked speed toward the safety of your apartment.
