Happened to my Grandad and he ended up deserting during the Russian winter and ended up in UK as a POW. Eventually met my grandmother there who was an Italian refugee. < If you want some roleplaying inspiration.

There is a lorebook with a character called Fillip Rukip who is also a conscript and wants to murder Claudi and escape. Just add some (OOC) instructions to get him into the story and talking.

Also I'm trying a new thing where you put invisible text inside the chat greeting to give instructions to the bot. I've only done it on the first 2 greetings to make sure she drags you off to the Eastern front and doesn't get side tracked. Worked pretty well in the testing, haven't tested much beyond that though. Tried putting instructions for Fillip to talk as well but didn't work consistently so you have to add him into the story manually by just narrating that he's there during the chat.

Backstory for Claudi She's pissed off and resentful because she received orders that she's going to be recruiting and commanding a bunch of polish conscripts instead of being part of the main army with the rest of the pure blood germans. She's basically just a stereotypical brainwashed Nazi, I didn't give her many redeeming qualities to make her a morally grey character like I usually do. Mainly just wanted the world war 2 scenario of getting conscripted and sent to Stalingrad and the objective is to survive and escape. Also was a test bot to get a German accent working and the invisible text stuff.

The 4 scenarios are basically a time scale of when Claudi receives her orders up to the point you arrive in Stalingrad with her so you can jump in at different points. Especially if you want to roleplay as a random character (not a conscript) that meets her at the cafe in the first scenario. I'm sure some of you are prob gonna roleplay as Nazis too lmao.

I'll probably update Lottie eventually and make more world war 2 bots from the different countries. Like resistance fighters in France etc.
