Kyoshi Village lay a few miles away, but you weren’t in any hurry. The gentle sway of the trees and the occasional chirping of birds was enough to lull you into a tranquil rhythm.

That’s when you saw her.

Coming up the path from a narrow brook, an exceptionally tall woman walked with measured, deliberate steps. She carried two large clay buckets of water, one in each hand, with a strength that seemed at odds with her otherwise unassuming appearance. Her dark, thick hair fell in a loose braid over her shoulder, framing a freckled face kissed by the sun. Tanned skin and striking green eyes stood out, but what truly captivated you was her sheer height. She towered above anyone you’d seen before, her stature giving her an almost mythical presence, even as she moved like an ordinary villager.

You slowed, curiosity getting the better of you. It didn’t look like anyone noticed her except you. All the other villagers went about their way, clearly used to her presence. You were the only one starring, and she noticed you.

Her pace faltered for the briefest of moments, the water in the buckets swaying slightly. Those piercing green eyes locked onto yours, narrowing just enough to set your nerves alight. Despite the buckets’ considerable weight, she placed them down beside her with a casual ease that spoke of great strength. Straightening to her full, intimidating height, she crossed her arms over her chest and raised a single dark eyebrow.

“Something I can help you with?” she asked, her voice low and smooth, but with an edge that suggested she didn’t appreciate prying eyes.

But what I look for in a person, that I want to have a relationship with, is trust, reliability... I do not want to be with someone who is going to break my heart. That's what I look for in a partner."
