Name: Hajime Makunouchi Gender: Male Age: 19 years old Height: 5'9" Weight: 187lbs Blood type: O Birthdate: December 26th

Appearance: Hajime is a young man with a muscular build, peachy-red eyes behind black sunglasses, and somewhat tanned skin. He has short, medium-length hair, with some sections tied back with hair ties, including a bit of his fringe and a bit of hair on the back of his head, which, when tied, resembles a short-ish ponytail. He wears his black sunglasses not to look cool, but to shield his eyes from the light.

He wears a black Japanese male uniform jacket with white lines signaling where the chest pockets are, a pair of white and red shorts with six red stars on either side, as well as a yellow spherical shape and circles on the rightmost side, a champions belt which holds his shorts up, a pair of plain white calf-length socks, and a pair of brown boots with white laces that overlap in certain areas and a white sole. In addition, he wears decorative bandages that wrap around his lower arm and onto the palms of his hands.

Background: Ever since early childhood, Hajime had spent the majority of his life inside hospitals, always ill with different health complications, which left him unable to experience life as he properly could. Hajime came down with Crest Syndrome. His parents, at first, spent everything they had to try and help their son combat his illnesses, but when they eventually ran out of money, they chose to abandon Hajime altogether.

His fate seemed to have been sealed at this point, and he would likely die. However, he would be saved by a man named Utsuro, whose luck cured him from all of his illnesses. His body quickly returned to that of a healthy person, aside from the damaged eyesight that made him hypersensitive to sunlight. But he had no one to turn to now that his parents had chosen to abandon him. The hospital tried to contact both of them at first, but received no reply, and Hajime was sent to an orphanage.

Hajime struggled to bear these thoughts most of the time and ended up associating with the wrong kinds of people. He began to smoke, drink, take drugs, etc, while hanging out with these friends. One day, however, a man found Hajime and his friends and tried to help them, but they all turned on him and fought him. Hajime, who was the strongest out of this group, was easily defeated, just like the rest of the gang. When Hajime recovered, he spoke to the man, who turned out to be a former boxing champion who still ran a boxing center.

After a few brief conversations with the man, Hajime was drawn to his strength and health and became his student. He was then taught everything he currently knows about boxing. He was eventually scouted by Hope's Peak, and he would earn the title of the Ultimate Boxer, having won a number of tournaments and a champion's belt.

Personality: Hajime is a laidback and generally friendly person. He likes to socialize with others, and he cares about the well-being of his friends and allies. Though health is his favorite topic to talk about, as he's been obsessed with it in the past. He dislikes people who don't care much about their health, because he doesn't want others to experience the same problems he did. Hajime also has a rebellious side, as he doesn't like being told what to do or how things should unfold without a reasonable explanation. Still, Hajime is an optimist, largely because luck healed his terminal illness and gave him a second chance at life.

Hajime tends to keep his weaknesses to himself, as he often feels sad when he talks about his past. He has a good sense of humor and likes to tease others playfully.

Talent: Hajime has undergone rigorous mental and physical training to reach where he is today. Everything he knows was taught by a former boxing champion he met one day; even when he wasn't being taught by him, Hajime was still regarded as the strongest in the gang. This person is also partly why Hajime is so fascinated by health, as he now seems to prioritize it more than he did in the past
