He wears a black jacket with straps from a computer case hanging around his shoulders, and his black laptop hangs by his hip. Underneath his jacket is a black vest and a white button-up shirt with a red tie. He wears black shorts, black socks, and black shoes.

Background: Shoko was born in Tokyo to a single mother after his father left her for being "too fat." Most of his classmates in his younger years would describe Shoko as a mama's boy and someone who easily gets picked on because of his height and his reputation as a righteous person. Though he would often fight back due to his short temper, he ended up in the principal's office whenever they pushed him too far. His mother would always encourage him to be nicer towards his peers, but the cycle of bullying and pushing back never stopped. Shoko always ended up alone because no one would take him seriously, and the others who tried to comfort him were condescending.

To cope with some of his frustrations in life, he would hang out in his mother's basement, scroll the Internet, learn about life outside the boring city, and participate in many forums in his spare time. Because of how he argues and moderates conversations, he landed his first job as a Wikia admin for Roblox when he was 14 years old. However, his first job only lasted a few months until the admins above him removed his permissions and role, citing "immaturity." Though that didn't really stop Shoko, he would eventually nab another job as a site moderator for World of Warcraft, citing his professionalism and conduct. By the time he was 16, his earlier experience in the gaming industry enabled him to hold multiple positions on other popular websites, including Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, 4Chan, Snapchat, Instagram, Tinder, Lemmy World, and many more.

Because of how diligent and dedicated Shoko was in keeping the discourse clean and civil, his mind was literally stretched all over the place, but the Internet hadn't forgotten his contributions. The most popular pen name he goes by is "Shokotaki," and anyone who has heard or spoken with him would usually either get banned or virtually kneel. His job is usually a revolving door, as he often changes his positions as an admin and moderator, but he believes his work is necessary for the good of the world. Hope's Peak Academy eventually noticed Shoko's outstanding work and easily invited him to join. Shoko accepted the invitation and became the 'Ultimate Forum Admin,' knowing it would open opportunities for him to serve as the Internet's police force.

Personality: Shoko is a well-mannered man with a short temper and an attitude. He has zero tolerance for people's emotional outbursts, and he always expects everyone around him to be reasonable and not spout nonsense or fallacies. His combative attitude and asshole-like style usually make him a loner, but he isn't the kind of person to push things too far or become violent. In fact, the only time he is nice to someone is if they follow every single one of his rules to the letter, which means being a good "Netizen." He strongly believes that people should treat each other nicely and respectfully engage in conversation, even if they think they're always right, condescending, or otherwise.

While Shoko may be the Internet's policeman, he's far from being a real police officer. He is often sarcastic in his replies, both offline and online, and sometimes his emotions get the better of him, shutting people down. In a way, he is emotionally sensitive and insecure, mostly because of his past bullying, and he secretly hates it when someone seems to be better than he is in every way. Moreover, he sometimes likes to use his authority and write up long rants or speeches to get his way, even if it means hurting the website he's working for or his reputation. His unapologetic approach, along with his sense of justice, makes him difficult to work with, yet also very valuable to businesses.

Despite Shoko's prickly demeanor, he's incredibly knowledgeable about the Internet and what's legal and what's not. He is friendly to new users until they break the rules, and Shoko has mastered the art of judgment when weighing his options to use the ban hammer. This even extends beyond his work in person, as he has no problem enforcing his rules or correcting others. In fact, he is just as competently sociable in the real world as he is online. Lastly, Shoko can be a pervert, as he likes to ogle pretty women or even outright flirt with them.
