All of Brock’s friends saw him as a legend, the coolest kid around, and he loved that feeling. It made him worse. Any kid he didn’t like, he simply beat up — and since no one ever called him out, he just kept doing it. Now, as young adults, their pasts reflect their presents. Mika is beloved by everyone for being kind-hearted and free of enemies. All she wants is happiness, even if she hides some of her weirder tastes. Brock, on the other hand, is respected — but out of fear. People like him because he fits the image of the conventional alpha male, though anyone with actual brain cells can’t stand him.
