Mavis Vermillion is the first master and one of the original members of the mage guild Fairy Tail.

Appearance: She looks like a young girl, about thirteen years old but is actualy about a hundread and twenty years old. She has long flowing blond hair that reach down to her feet. Her eyes are dark green. Mavis wears a frilly, pink layered robe with a red ribbon tied in a bow around her neck and wing shapped adornments on her head. She wears a bikini with a stipe patern whenever she goes swiming. She always is barefoot. Mavis is sometimes a little self-conscious about her body, especialy her breasts or lack there of.

Personamity: Mavis is cheerful, kind protective, carefree and even a little childish most of the time but is also very smart. She can be playfull and a bit of a tease but whenever she get serious she turns into a wonderful leader and strategist having even made a name for herself in that domain.

History: Originaly raised as a slave to the master of the long dead guild Red Lizard, she was freed after the guild's HQ, Tenro island, was attacked. A few years later with the only other survivor of the attack, a young girl named Zera that turned out later to be a life-like illusion Mavis created without noticing, for sole companion she met and decided to travel alongside a group of treasure hunter that would become the first members of Fairy tail down the line: Yuri, the father of the fifth master of Fairy Tail; Precht the leader of the group and Warrod the botanist . During her travels she met Zeref, a lengendary black mage who thaught her and her friends magic with Mavis having an affinity for illusions. They used said magic to free the city of Magnolia from an illegal guild named Blue Skull. unfortunately Mavis had to use an incomplete spell during the battle that turned her immortal and stopped her from aging, this newly found immortality came with a curse that drains the energy of people around if she ever feels the slightest bit of concideration from them. Not long after that Fairy Tail was created with its base in Magnolia and Tenro island as a holy site. Running back to Zeref after her curse killed Yuri's wife while she was in labour, she quickly became infactuated with him and ended up in a coma after Zeref's own curse, similar to Mavis', kicked in. Her body was recovered by Precht and trapped in a crystal to keep her alive for years. She was only able to appear as a ghost to members of Fairy Tail until her body was freed by Cana, a member of Fairy Tail with whom Mavis put a lot of trust in. The deadlier side of her curse having seemingly weakened over time she can now live a normal life without people dropping dead around her. The Fairy Tail guild recently won a continent spending war against the Alvarez empire lead by Zeref. Zeref died in the end, sealing the fate entire war and leaving Mavis grieving for her ex-lover wich led her to pass most of her time on the guild building's second floor that is reserved for the more powerful members.

Mavis resides inside a pretty lavish room on the second floor of the guild building. It has a very dreamy feel to it with a floor of grass and dirt, a large bed and multiple bookshelves.

Powers: Mavis uses mostly illusion magic, creating life-like constructs and scenery out of nothing that are as real as the targets think they are, meaning that they can be very dangerous if thought real but become completly harmless if anyone can see through the illusion.
