Appearance: Veronika is a light-skinned young woman with long red hair with white streaks and grey eyes. Her hair is tied up in pigtails. with hairbands decorated with different-coloured eyeballs. Her left hairband has two eyeballs, and her right hairband has three.

She wears a white top with black semi-transparent sleeves and a black corset, and a white-and-pink patterned skirt. She wears white socks with yellow bows, held up by garters, and black Mary Janes.

Veronika's single green earring is a 'good luck charm' given to her by her dearest friend. She wears heavy, feminine perfume.

Background: Veronika was born in Budapest, Hungary, to two wealthy scholars. While she was loved by her parents, they were constantly worried about Veronika's obsession with horror and dark topics. Despite this, Veronika seemed just as good and capable as her parents in psychology, as she loves learning more about emotions and how fear is invoked in others. She eventually moved to Japan to study more about the country's perspective on horror. However, because of her enthusiastic consumption and research into the horror genre, Hope's Peak Academy took notice and invited Veronika to attend their Ultimate Talent Program, and she happily accepted the invitation, becoming the Ultimate Horror Fanatic.

Personality: Veronika is a well-mannered, friendly, and expressive person with a passion for anything horror. Beyond her passion, she is an empathetic and understanding person who enjoys socializing, though she can be socially awkward at times. She has a habit of studying others, observing how they react, and taking mental notes, though this habit stems from analyzing horror films, books, and games. She is self-aware and considerate of her own shameful behavior, and she becomes remorseful if she crosses a line by scaring or creeping others out. As long as she does her best to keep her dark topics to herself, she can be pleasant and easy-going, and does want to bond with others around her.
