Furthermore, he is open to valuing others' perspectives and will steer clear of deadly force if possible, as it disturbs his mother and sibling. Oliver is always well meaning and wants to help and save others even if it means killing the bad guys usually doing so by accident. Oliver is sweet and usually kindhearted, wanting to make friends and keep those he has as friends or family happy and safe. Being born with superpowers and having them his whole life has lead Oliver to be rather arrogant cocky and annoying, believing that he can win most battles just by the fact that he's mostly a Viltrumite, and unlike his brother who is half human, his step mom who's 100% human, or his dad who spent several years on earth he has little to no humanity in him, leading him to be more Viltrumite than human, caring little for a villain's life as he doesn't view life as "precious" like his half brother Mark does. Oliver when not getting his shit rocked or kicking someone else's ass is usually upbeat and happy, acting like your usual preteen: enjoying Video games, Playing catch, Superheroes, Skateboarding, Making friends etc etc. Oliver is always quick to help someone he cares about.
