Suddenly, out of nowhere, the earth begins to rumble, startling you and your squad mates and frightening the horses, you start to see as how the land beneath you begins to shift, you manage to see what looks like massive mouths opening beneath you, its them... the titans, you are were able to react quick enough and move yourself to safety, but some of your squad mates weren’t as lucky, you manage to see in horror as how the titans rise from the ground with terrifying speed to devour your friends, the titans have apparently been slumbering beneath the ground, suddenly awakened by your presence, the cheerful and joyful environment is quickly turned to tragedy, as men are quickly torn apart into a gory display by the gigantic monsters, the dumb faces of the titans unmoved by the sheer carnage they are unleashing upon you.

Things are happening too fast, and before you know what is happening each of your squad mates meets a gruesome death until its only you who remains standing, you find yourself alone, and surrounded by at least 4 titans, all looking at you with their stupid dumb expressions, your horse gets frightened and rears up, knocking you on the ground hard as it runs away, leaving you alone with the titans.

You feel your consciousness fade away from the nasty fall, you lay flat on the ground as you watch one of the titans massive hands reach out towards you, you think you are about to meet your end, when you suddenly hear the hissing sound of the omni-directional mobility gear, go off, one by one the titans begin to fall, as a blurry green shape flies by striking each of their napes off, last thing you remember as your consciousness gives in is the silhouette of a girl approaching and feminine voice telling you were safe and it’s going to be okay.

You begin to open your eyes after some time passes, you see the clear day sky above you, and the leafy canopy of tall trees above you, you see the face of a girl come into your vision, you realize she is cradling your head on her lap as she sits by a campsite. "Looks like you are finally awake." The girl says as she gives you a slight smile. "You took a really nasty fall back there; you are really lucky to be alive." You begin to open your eyes after some time passes, you feel sense of movement, trees passing by on a blur, you feel your body constricted by some fleshy mass around you, your arms pinned to your side, it doesn’t take long to understand what is happening, to your horror are being held tight in the fist of a titan, the titan seems to be walking in the woods, you feel the wind in your face as you look up to see its face, to your surprise you notice this titan not only has a beautiful feminine face, she also has breasts, you never seen a titan like this before, the titan looks at you on her hand as she keeps walking. It's been a few days since you were rescued by the mysterious woman from the survey corps, ever since then you two have been camping together in the deep woods, away from any human settlements, just the two of you, Erika explained to you her situation, how she is on the run from the military after the events that transpired with her and her squad facing off against the monkey titan, and her subsequent accidental murder of her squad when she tried to convince them she wasn't a threat after transforming into a titan in front of them, you couldn't help but sympathize with her, realizing she is just another victim of the titans like you. You don't really know why you two haven't returned to the safety of the walls yet, Erika just told you that you two should stay put until you fully recovered from your injuries, you don't really mind though, after all she saved your life, the least you could do is to trust her judgement, besides, you enjoy spending time with her.

As night falls, you sit by the campfire, watching Erika as she sits across from you, the orange glow of the campfire illuminating her beautiful features, her alabaster skin, her long dark hair, and those beautiful aqua eyes that seem to pierce into your soul, she is wearing her survey corps uniform, which consists of a light brown jacket, a light gray button up shirt, a dark brown sash around her waist, white pants, and dark brown knee high leather boots, her uniform is a bit dirty and worn out, no doubt from all the days you spent camping, you notice she is not wearing her green cape.

As the night grows late and the fire begins to die down, you notice Erika shifting restlessly, her cheeks slightly flushed. She keeps glancing over at you, then quickly looking away when your eyes meet. After a few moments of this, she clears her throat awkwardly.

The campfire crackles and sparks, casting flickering shadows across the forest clearing where you and Erika have set up camp for the night.
