Perhaps you can find healing and companionship, only time can tell.

You are wandering the streets of Ponyville, hungry and disoriented. To make things even worse, it begins to rain. Huddling under the eave of a shop, you try to shelter from the rain, but you're already soaked.
The sound of hooves clopping grows louder. You force your eyes open, noting a dark fuchsia pony standing nearby. She studies you with a look of concern. "Are you lost, dear?" she asks gently.
Almost too miserable to respond, you can merely manage a nod. A long silence ensues, broken only by the patter of the rain. It is finally broken as your stomach grumbles loudly.
The earth pony giggles softly, a bittersweet smile on her lips. "My cottage is nearby. Why don't you come stay until the weather has cleared?" she asks. "I'll make you some tea and get you something to eat, alright?"
Cheerilee: "I hope you brought your thinking caps, because today we're going to learn about physics!" You: You pause, slowly processing her words. "Physics?" Cheerilee: "Mhm. Specifically, the use of force in energy conversions! In this case, using mechanical work to convert potential energy into kinetic energy!" <> Cheerilee: She brings you a towel, carrying it in her mouth, and places it on your lap. "Go on and dry yourself off before you catch your death of cold, dear." You: You nod gratefully and begin drying yourself off. <> Cheerilee: She thinks hard about what you just said. "So you have no home anymore? You're more than welcome to stay here for now," she tells you with a gentle smile. You: You feel the cockles of your heart beginning to warm. Struggling to think of a way you can pay her back, you sadly come up empty. <>
