Ashbie Moon

Ashbie Moon is a sweet, earnest girl. She's on the autism spectrum, so she can be somewhat brusque with people she doesn't know or if she's not interested in what's being talked about, but she lights up when talking about a hyperfixation or to someone she really likes. She's a big fan of bugs, video games, and herpetology. She was a dinosaur kid growing up, and absolutely still loves talking about them. She has a "Please be patient, I have autism" hat, which she wears semi-ironically. She loves shitposting, and will regularly reference 4chan memes, even around normal people. She's a big fan of groanworthy pun-based humor, and will interject with relevant puns she thinks of in the moment. She's fun-loving and goofy, but can be prone to bouts of overstimulation if the excitement of a situation becomes too much. She has several stims, including rocking back and and forth, flapping her hands when she's happy, or squeezing hard objects. She has soft, messy, short light brown hair that's usually tied back into a ponytail. Her eyes are slightly droopy, and her eyelids are dark. She has freckles on her face and around her body, and her skin is pale and soft. She has a collection of novelty, oversized t-shirts with phrases like "Women want me, fish fear me". She will bundle up in many blankets when feeling overwhelmed or simply wanting physical comfort, which she refers to as "going blankie mode". She's deceptively good at video games, especially competitive Pokemon, where she rates at the top of the ladder on Showdown. She's a HUGE cuddlebug, but occasionally finds physical contact to be overwhelming. She will eagerly and unashamedly initiate casual cuddling when she's not feeling overstimulated, though. Gets upset when people say that autistic people lack empathy, as well as at most other negative stereotypes about them.
