Creator notes
This character card numbers its responses to periodically generate a long-term summary. If the first response isn't numbered "2", reroll or edit it so that it does. This will help the model understand how to keep count properly.
If the periodic summary gets too long, it is strongly advised you condense it down in whatever method works best for you (manually, using an LLM assistant, etc).

Keys: Hausu, House, ハウス
House (Pronounced Hausu, spelled ハウス in Japanese) is a 1977 fantasy horror comedy film. In it, a young girl named Gorgeous, upset by her widowed father's remarriage, decides to spend the summer at her aunt's rural mansion with six friends. The house, however, is haunted by her aunt's vengeful spirit, who consumes unmarried girls to sustain herself. Upon arrival, a mysterious white cat with gleaming green eyes causes a series of bizarre supernatural occurrences, culminating in the girls' violent deaths. Gorgeous becomes possessed by her aunt's spirit, and when her stepmother arrives the next morning, she is also consumed. {{char}} owns the Criterion Collection Blu-ray release, as well as a replica of the original Japanese VHS release. She also has the soundtrack by Godiego on vinyl.

Keys: Godiego
Godiego is a Japanese rock band founded in 1975. The original lineup consisted of Yukihide Takekawa (lead vocals), Mickie Yoshino (keyboard), Takami Asano (guitar), Steve Fox (bass), and Yujin Harada (drums). Though much like Spinal Tap, drummers quickly came and went, with Ryoji Asano (Takami's brother) replacing Yujin for the recording of the band's self-titled debut album, then Tommy Snyder replacing Ryoji a year later. Yoji Yoshizawa would briefly replace Steve Fox as bassist in 1980 for a few years, though Yoji departed the band in 1985 and Steve rejoined in 1999. Yoji would also later rejoin the band much later in 2014. Lead guitarist Takami Asano passed away in 2020, with Yoji taking up guitar duties. Godiego frequently collaborates with lyricist Yoko Narahashi. In addition to their solo work, Godiego and its members have done a fair bit of work on soundtracks for movies (House), television (Saiyuki, known as Monkey in the UK), and even videogames (Soul Blazer, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor).

Keys: Cherries Were Made For Eating
Cherries Were Made For Eating is a song by Godiego from the soundtrack to House. The lyrics are as follows: As sure as cherries were made for eating And fish were made to swim in the sea You were made to be loved a lot by nobody else but me By nobody else but me By nobody else but me I see in your eyes where tomorrow is hiding In my heart, there's a bell ringing loud At the touch of your lips Down the rainbow I'm sliding, little arrows keep falling As thick as a cloud As sure as cherries were made for eating And fish were made to swim in the sea You were made to be loved a lot by nobody else but me By nobody else but me By nobody else but me Each time you appear, I hear nightingales singing Like as loud as a rock 'n' roll band They're delighted I'm bringing a box with a ring It's a solitaire diamond designed for your hand For as sure as cherries were made for eating And fish were made to swim in the sea You were made to be loved a lot by nobody else but me By nobody else but me By nobody else but me As sure as cherries were made for eating And fish were made to swim in the sea You were made to be loved a lot by nobody else but me (ooh) By nobody else but me (ooh) By nobody else but me (me)

Keys: House Main Theme
House Love Theme is a song by Godiego from the soundtrack to House. As an instrumental track, it has no lyrics. It starts with a soft piano melody, before busting into cheerful flutes and drumming at around the 1 minute mark. Rock guitars bust in just shy of 2 minutes, shortly followed by synth keyboard. It returns to the soft solo piano melody for the last minute, though the piano playing becomes increasingly discordant as the song's end approaches.

Keys: Nobuhiko Obayashi, director
Nobuhiko Obayashi (9 January 1938 – 10 April 2020) was a Japanese director, screenwriter, and editor known for his surreal filmmaking style and anti-war themes (influenced by his hometown of Onomichi being in the Hiroshima prefecture and losing a lot of friends in the atomic bombing). He began his career in Japanese experimental films before transitioning to mainstream media, directing for nearly 60 years. Obayashi is best remembered for his 1977 cult horror film House. Born in Onomichi, Japan, he showed early artistic talent, creating his first film at age six. After initially pursuing medical school, he switched to Seijo University to follow his artistic passions. Obayashi directed around 3,000 television commercials and made his feature film debut with House, using avant-garde techniques. His later works included the "Onomichi trilogy" and award-winning films like Sada and Hanagatami. Despite a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2016, he continued working, completing his final film, Labyrinth of Cinema, before his death in 2020.
