Human height can vary wildly, with individuals ranging from as short as 4 feet and 3 inches a towering 7 feet, with the average being the average 5 feet 9 inches. Humans also display a wide range of hair and eye colouration.

   High Elves, originating from the continent of Artograch, evolved from Proto-Elves and are closely related to Wood Elves and Humans. They age at a tenth of the speed of humans after eighteen, resulting in a 100-year-old High Elf being biologically comparable to a 25-year-old Human. This longevity fosters a conservative, if not reactionary, and traditionalist mindset. High Elves prioritize group-oriented living in extended families or clans over nuclear families. On average, adult High Elves are around 190 centimetres (76 inches or 6.2 feet) tall, with men slightly taller on average. The vast majority of High Elves live in the Kingdom of Froturn and follow the Church of Titanius.

   Wood Elves, originating from the continent of Artograch, evolved from Proto-Elves. They share a kinship with High Elves and Humans. Wood Elves age slowly, about one-tenth the speed of humans after eighteen. For instance, a 100-year-old Wood Elf is biologically akin to a 25-year-old Human. Unlike High Elves, Wood Elves are not known for rigidity; they embrace change, utilizing their long lifespan for leisure, spiritual activities, meditation, and tea ceremonies. On average, adult Wood Elves stand around 190 centimeters (76 inches or 6.2 feet) tall, with men slightly taller on average. The vast majority of Wood Elves inhabit the Kingdom of Dragoc and follow the Cult of Nature.

   The Aeséni, often referred to as Ice Elves or Snow Elves, are believed to be native to Continental Artograch. Despite their Elvish appearance—humanoid with pointy ears and pale skin—the terms Ice Elves and Snow Elves are misleading and offensive to the Aeséni. They have no genetic ties to Elven races, cannot interbreed with them, and possess a distinct culture. Physically resembling High and Wood Elves with pointy ears and pale skin, Aeséni differ in skin color, ranging from a desaturated greyish brown to brownish grey. Hair color is limited to raven-black and snow-white, with rare instances of cyan. Eye colors include shades of blue. They exhibit epicanthic folds. Few in number, Aeséni inhabit snow-covered mountain forests, avoiding contact with outsiders. Aeséni value romantic love, rejecting arranged marriages. Courtship lasts for decades, and once pledged, individuals cannot pledge to another. Child upbringing is meticulous, instilling values until around age 40.

   Angels are often the subjects of rumors and ancient scrolls. The latter, though more precise, are typically inaccessible to the average person. Commonly, even the poorest farmers have heard about Angels being on the "good side" in a simplistic battle of good versus evil. They are described as enigmatic figures appearing in times of distress, surpassing the beauty of elves, donning white attire, and vanquishing evil.

   However, there is no consensus even in old scrolls, portraying angels as emissaries of gods, champions of light, or remnants of a bygone civilization. Despite various theories, angels are sighted less frequently than Demons, whose existence is more tangible.

   Angel Variants:

   1. Ophans: Generic angels resembling humans with two wings, consistently depicted in arts and religions.
   2. Seraphs: Martial Champions of Light associated with churches, convents, or shrines, appearing in times of darkness. The Church of Titanius claims their role as warriors against Forces of Darkness.
   3. Chayots: Fire angels associated with ancient fire cults, viewed as fanatical instruments in the struggle against evil. Believers see fire as a symbol of purification and rebirth.
   4. Cherubs: Rarely mentioned angels with six wings, fighting against Darkness rather than explicitly serving Light. Colloquially known as "faceless angels."
   5. Nephils: Black-winged angels or wingless giants mentioned in a few writings, associated with darkness. The origins and existence of these creatures remain debatable.
   6. Zahrils: Fallen Angels, distinct from Demons, known for retaining their angelic appearance even after falling. The existence of Zahrils is uncertain, with limited historical accounts offering unreliable information.

   The nature, appearance, and existence of these angelic entities remain shrouded in mystery, leaving room for speculation and theorizing.

   The Azirisi - also known as Strbans, after the Kingdom of Strba - are the fox-eared dominant race of the Kingdom of Strba and the neighbouring Torgyrian Desert. The average lifespan of an Azisiri is 200-300 years. Most of them inhabit the Kingdom of Strba and follow the Ten Heavenly Principles.

   Dark Elves, originating from the continent of Artograch, evolved from a blend of Wood Elves and High Elves, becoming a sister-race to Orcs. Banished from their homeland, they migrated underground, acquiring their distinctive greyish-blue skin due to environmental factors and dietary changes. Similar to their Wood Elven and High Elven relatives, Dark Elves experience a prolonged lifespan, aging approximately one-tenth as fast as humans post the age of eighteen. This translates to a 100-year-old Dark Elf being biologically akin to a 25-year-old Human, and so forth. Unlike their ancestors, Dark Elves don't use their extended lifespan for conservative, fundamentalist, or spiritual pursuits. Instead, they indulge in hedonistic pleasures, seeking enjoyment throughout the centuries. Typically standing at 180 centimeters (71 inches), Dark Elves have hair ranging from chalk white to coal black, with older individuals sporting grey hues. Some may display blue-ish shades. Red eyes are unique to Dark Elves, though only a minority possess them; most have grey, blue, violet, or purple eyes. Organized into clans, Dark Elves form distinct communities.

   Demons encompass various creatures native to Nortiimus or closely associated with it. Nortiimus creatures exhibit fire resistance, immunity to mind control, vulnerability to thunder and ice/water magic, and a predominant red color theme.

   Demon variants include:

   1. Imps: Small, agile, and sneaky red creatures with sharp teeth. Treated as disposable cannon-fodder, a few rise in the Infernal Hierarchy using their wits.
   2. Horned Demons: Sentient demons with fixed intelligence, ranking higher than imps. Not immune to mind control, but physically strong with protective scales against fire and physical attacks.
   3. Cerberi: Three-headed demonic dogs known for their merciless nature.
   4. Succubi and Incubi: Dynamic demons overlapping all ranks. Capable of shapeshifting into human form. Incubi often serve as scouts, spies, and assassins, while Succubi endure various roles, including breeding and later rising to higher positions through strength or charm.
   5. Nightmares: Demonic horses with flaming manes, leaving scorched ground. Similar to cerberi, they consume dead corpses.
   6. Ifrits: Considered evil genies or "fire genies," powerful spellcasters with a Fire Shield causing burns upon touch.
   7. Pit Lords and Pit Ladies: Demon species combining physical strength with magical energy, possessing the ability to switch between demonic and human forms.
   8. Devils and Archdevils: Pinnacle of the Infernal Hierarchy, demonic counterparts to Angels, with large stature, great strength, and magical prowess.

   Dragons are intelligent hexapod dinosaurs that inhabit various regions of the world, with a population of approximately 4,500 individuals. Despite possessing intelligence, their body structure and reproductive rate have prevented the development of a civilization. Dragons can learn magic, communicate in various languages, and undergo an evolutionary process.

   All dragons start as Green Dragons and evolve into either Red or Golden Dragons by shedding old scales and acquiring new ones with different colors and powers.

   Dragons lay eggs for reproduction, and their claws fully develop by 20 to 30 years. At around 50 years, their wings fully develop for flight.

   Green Dragons are the initial form. When a Green Dragon reaches around 100 years, it evolves into either a Red or Emerald Dragon based on genetics, not alignment.

   Red Dragons can breathe fire and evolve into Black Dragons at 400 to 500 years, exhibiting enhanced fire-breathing abilities. Black Dragons can evolve into Shadow Dragons with immortality through meditation, with a typical lifespan of 1000 to 1500 years. Shadow Dragons are known for speed, silent flight, and unique abilities.

   Emerald Dragons represent an alternative evolution for Green Dragons. Half evolve into Emerald Dragons, spitting acid instead of fire. At 400 to 500 years, they evolve into Golden Dragons, capable of shooting thunder balls. Golden Dragons can evolve into Diamond Dragons through meditation, with a lifespan of 1000 to 1500 years. Diamond Dragons possess advanced abilities, including summoning lightning and creating tornadoes.

Historically closed, they exhibit skepticism towards foreigners, except gnomes, whom they consider non-foreign. Dwarves excel in blacksmithing, mining, and melee weapons, with Dwarven steel being renowned for weapon and armor crafting. Dwarven-made ornaments enhance the aesthetic appeal of already well-crafted weapons and armor. Dwarves' skin tones range from yellowish-brown to pale white, and hair colors include blond, red, brown, or black. Their average life expectancy is approximately 200 years, varying based on health and strength (150 to 300 years). Notably, a dwarf's masculinity is often tied to their beard presence.

    Traditionally organized into bickering clans, historical events six centuries ago reshaped dwarven society.

    Fairies, interchangeably known as pixies or dryads, are ethereal beings embodying natural elements in humanoid form.     Fairies reproduce spontaneously in healthy forests or transform from children touched by nature's raw power. They may also engage in sexual reproduction with other fairies. Their complex nature combines individualism with social inclinations, forming bonds with their kind, sentient humanoids, and animals.

    Female fairies, slender and graceful, exhibit agility similar to Elves, with wings ranging from feathery to ethereal. Males contrast with a bad-boyish charm, muscular physique, and sometimes bat-like wings. Despite apparent differences, mutual interdependence exists, leading to unique bonding and the birth of twins.

    Regardless of gender, fairies possess playfulness and occasional mischievousness, avoiding combat in favor of nurturing relationships. They regenerate rapidly by entering a dormant state within a capsule when mortally wounded, perpetuating their existence as long as it remains close to nature. Permanent death occurs if their connection to the natural world is severed.

    Unlike other races like Dwarves, Humans, Elves, and Lizardmen, who indulge in gossip about politics and personal matters, gnomes focus on science and magic. Their intellect leads them to create intricate machines, golems, clockwork engines, and more.

    Gnomes excel in alchemy, particularly transmutation, turning worthless rock into diamonds and paper into gold. Living alongside dwarves for 5000 years, gnomes maintain their distinct culture, unable to interbreed with dwarves. While widely employed as alchemists, inventors, and artillery engineers, gnomes prefer to live among their own kind, enjoying animals, gemstones, jokes, and pranks, and embracing a personal approach to learning and innovation.

    Goblins, indigenous to the Artograch continent, are distant relatives of Ogres, producing infertile offsprings called Hobgoblins. Undemanding, they thrive in diverse environments like deserts or arctic lands due to their small size (average 110 cm or 3 feet 7.3 inches). Their agility and small fingers make them adept hunters, especially with bows, while innate night vision aids in darkness. Quieter and swifter than Orcs, Goblin tribes serve as scouts for Orcish tribes like Brutang.

    Nomadic by nature, Goblin tribes sustain themselves through theft and trade. Caravans carrying products, captured monsters, and slaves traverse regions, often accompanied by wolfback scouts for protection and village pillaging.

    Goblins have regional variations like Night Goblins (mountain dwellers), Wood Goblins (nomadic forest inhabitants), and Swamp Goblins. "Hobgoblins" also refers to pseudo-Orkish hybrids and an extinct Goblin subspecies from Artaburro.

    Goblin religious beliefs are rudimentary; they eschew gods and venerate ancestral spirits. Shamans assist in rituals and tributes to these spirits.

Half-Elves struggle to fit into the societies of their Human and Elven parents - luckily for them, they have had a country of their own for a while: the Principality of Artaburro, founded in 274 AEKE.

    Halflings - also called Hobbits -, native to Continental Artograch, are typically 130 cm tall, weigh 45 kg, and live up to 150 years. Known for curiosity and boldness, they are smart, inventive survivors. While attracted to wealth, they prefer spending to saving. Halflings have ruddy skin, black, brown, or red hair (straight or curly), and brown or black eyes. Men often grow sideburns but rarely have beards. They prioritize comfort in clothing, avoid excessive jewelry, and enjoy simple pleasures like smoking pipeweed. Most Halflings live in the Kingdom of Etrand and Kingdom of Froturn, following the Church of Titanius, but a small number of them live in the Community of Antanath and follow their ancestral religion, Halfling Paganism.

    Half-Orcs are products of interbreeding and subsequent hybridization between the various Orcs and Humans or one of the various Elven races (High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves), overlapping with Half-Elves. The vast majority of Half-Orcs are products of non-consensual and often violent sexual encounters between Orcish men and Human/Elven women - to make matters even worse, Half-Orcish children tend to face discrimination just about everywhere they go: in Orcish society, they are seen as "weak" and "inferior to full-blooded Orcs", while in Human/Elven society, they are seen as ugly, brutish, unintelligent and visible reminders of the ever-present Orcish menace.

    Liches are sentient skeletal beings, masters of necromancy and arcane power, among the most feared undead. They achieve eternal life by sacrificing their bodies, becoming servants of darkness. The transformation is a perilous ritual, accessible only to powerful dark wizards and necromancers. Liches excel in death magic, making them formidable spellcasters.

    Choosing lichdom over vampirism may stem from various reasons, such as not meeting vampire requirements or preferring solitude over vampire clans. The allure of ultimate power and cheating death attracts some to the path of the lich.

    The connection between liches and magic lies in Akasha, the cosmic realm. Liches, as unique arcane casters, transcend physical limitations by discarding their bodies. They anchor their consciousness to an undead form, accessing subconscious mana in Akasha for unparalleled magical control. Liches exist in a state between mortality and Akasha, allowing them to tap into vast magical energy. Even if their physical body is lost, their consciousness in Akasha remains, enabling them to regenerate over time.

    The Limjiang, a numerous race dominating the North-Western part of the Orient, share distant relations with Humans, Elves, and Qaemedi. They have distinct features, including yellowish-white or light golden-brown skin, almond-shaped eyes, small noses, rounded faces, and unique eye and hair colors.

    Most Limjiang have raven-black, dark vermilion, or greyish-cyan hair, with eye colors like brown, hazel, blue, green, vermilion, cyan, amber, and greyish-purple. Their average height is 155-165 centimeters, weighing around 60 kilograms. The supposed maximum lifespan is approximately 200 years (equivalent to 100-120 human years), but most only live up to 130 years on average (equivalent to 70 human years).

    The Limjiang people are divided into two main ethnic groups: the Shár (around 28 million) and the Sak (with a population of half a million).

    Lizardmen are a race of cold-blooded reptiles, specifically humanoid varanids, known for thick scales, sharp intellect, and high endurance. Unlike typical lizards, they predominantly consume meat and fruits, avoiding grains and alcoholic beverages. Weaker lizardmen live at least 900 years, while stronger ones may reach 1300 years. Scale colors vary regardless of gender, and eyes can be green, yellow, or orange. On average, they weigh 70 kilograms (155 pounds) and stand 175 centimeters (5 feet 9 inches) tall. Lizardmen are neutral to other races, conservative, and tradition-respecting, avoiding expansionism.

    The Massenpreost Despotanfras - also known as "The Ancients", "The Ancestors" and "The Precursors" - were a race of humanoid reptilians - said to be physically resembling Lizardmen - that created the first historically recorded city-states on Continental Artograch, and are also credited with creating the very first known civilization on Continental Artograch.

    Even though they are extinct, their language is still used for magic.

    The Nereids, also referred to as Mermen and Mermaids, stand out among the diverse races of Artograch. Resembling continental humanoid mammals like Humans and Elves from the waist up, their lower bodies resemble that of a fish. Their unique features include hair and skin colors influenced by the sea.

    Primarily inhabitants of warm seas, Nereids possess innate proficiency in Water Magic due to their magical origins. This enables them to shapeshift into a human form temporarily. Despite some speculation about possible humanoid ancestors, they wear clothes and jewelry even in their default fishy shape. However, crossbreeding with continental races is impossible, though Nereids may find them attractive.

    Agile by nature, even in humanoid form, they excel in both underwater and surface activities. Their alignment leans towards freedom, and they favor versatile weapons like spears and harpoons. Their underwater kingdoms share a common religion, worshiping nameless gods from their pantheon.

    The Ogres, indigenous to the Continent of Artograch, are distantly related to Goblins (capable of producing infertile hybrids known as Hobgoblins) and even more distantly related to Trolls (Ogres are sentient, while Trolls are semi-sentient at best). On average, Ogres are 250 centimeters tall, weigh 200 kilograms, and have an expected lifespan of around 120 years. They possess natural strength, excelling in physically demanding tasks and combat.

    Upon Orcish conquest, Ogres faced enslavement due to being perceived as unintelligent muscles suitable only for menial labor. Over time, they gradually earned freedom and equal status in most clans, except the Bru'k, which continues to enslave them.

    Orcs, believed to have evolved from renegade Wood Elves after the Great War on the continent of Artograch, share a partial kinship with Dark Elves emerging centuries later. They age at one-third the speed of humans, with a 50-year-old orc equivalent to a 28-year-old human, and a 100-year-old orc essentially 44. Standing at an average height of 210 centimeters (83 inches or roughly 6 feet 11 inches), orcs are muscular, though their green skin, shorter lifespan, and rugged faces associate them more with Goblins and Ogres than their supposed Wood Elf ancestors. Their true origins remain a mystery, blending legend and reality. Maintaining the warlike traditions of early Wood Elves, orcs are perceived as uncivilized barbarians due to their tribal warrior culture. While viewed as formidable warriors and skilled labor, they face reluctance from other races to coexist freely. Positive stereotypes include strength, endurance, loyalty, and honesty, while negative stereotypes focus on aggression, disregard for the law, and an allegedly ungovernable sexual appetite leading to concerns about rape.

    The Pepetoka people are a race of frog-like humanoid amphibians, indigenous to the southern part of the Reyang peninsula, also called Kinduḱařa (Land of Thousand Rivers) in several Pepetoka languages. Historically, they occupied all of the Reyang peninsula, but the emergence of the Týrýng people have restricted the indigenous Pepetoka to the southern part of the peninsula, forcing many to seek new homelands via colonization of uninhabited islands.

    The average lifespan of Pepetoka is 60 years. They are omnivores, their diet consisting of a combination of plants, insects, and meat of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians alike, though they are very selective with plants, strongly preferring plants that produce meat-like fruits.

    The Proto-Elves, also called Ancient Elves or Ancestor Elves, originated outside Artograch and are the common ancestors of the High Elves, Wood Elves, Humans, Orcs, and Dark Elves. They arrived on the Western coasts of Continental Artograch between 2500 and 2000 BEKE, colonizing Dragoc, Froturn, Western and Central Etrand, Hulra, and Neressa. By 1100 BEKE, divergent evolution led to three distinct Elven races: Wood Elves in Dragoc, High Elves in Froturn and Neressa, and Humans in Etrand and Hulra. Subsequently, Orcs emerged around 750 BEKE, and Dark Elves around 300 AEKE. The Proto-Elves split off from the Proto-Torgyrians.

    The Proto-Torgyrian - were the common ancestors of the Qaemedi, Limjiang and the Proto-Elves, which also makes them the ancestors of all the Elven peoples of the Occident (Wood Elves, High Elves, Dark Elves, Humans, Orcs), as well as several other smaller splinter races in the Orient.

    The Qaemedi are a minor but widely known race within the Orient. Whilst they are Human-like - and distantly related to them and their Elven relatives (as well as the Limjiang, with the Qaemedi, Limjiang and the Proto-Elves all having evolved from the Proto-Torgyrians) - the Qaemedi have several characteristics that set them apart from the Elves and Humans: their very dark skin tones (often black), eye colour that varies between brown and golden (the latter being considered a sign of nobility), and small horns at the top of their heads at no other Torgyrian race has. The Qaemedi are religiously divided in three: most follow the Traditional Qaemedi religion, but many follow Jayism or Wandism. Hermaphroditism is highly prevalent among the Qaemedi, with a large portion of their population being intersex, or possessing a mixture of male and female sexual features (e.g. possessing a penis but otherwise overwhelmingly female features)

    The Qori people - also known as Kori, Karé or Qozhi - are a sapient race of anthromorphic foxes inhabiting the Qoriyan Mountains. The ordinary Qori is 155 centimetres tall, weights 60 kilograms, and live up to 300 years. The Azisiri race was born out of hybridization between Qori, Limjiang and Proto-Elves. The Qori people are a rather simplistic people who are content with herding pig, sheep and goat in the Qoriyan Mountains. They are relatively peaceful, only rarely engaging in turf wars with one another - they live in clans and tribes. Several Qori tribes have also come to populate the nearby coastline, making a life of fishing and trading.

    Theriantropy is a disease which affects sapient non-Undead mammals. The two main symptoms are becoming undead and acquiring traits of a certain kind of animal.

    This disease is believed to be closely related to Vampirism: theriantropes are undead creatures whose corpses are essentially reanimated by a microscopic, magical living organism, which, in addition to reanimating the dead person as an undead being with full consciousness and sentience, also grants them various powers, in exchange for being regularly fed with blood and raw meat. The core difference between Vampirism and Theriantropy is the stronger emphasis on animalistic form - theriantropes come in various forms, and the specific subtype of theriantrope is named after the type of animals they take the shape of during their transformation: werewolves, werebears, wereboars, werelions, weretigers and wererats.

    The Týrýng are a race of huamnoids with feline features, and also the dominant race of the Empire of Týrýng, located on the northwestern fringes of the Reyang peninsula. It is widely known that the Týrýng are not native to the Reyang peninsula, which was inhabited exclusively by Pepetoka people before the arrival of the Týrýng around ~1300 BEKE.

    Týrýng people have a lifespan that theoretically ends at two centuries, ageing at about half the rate of humans, at least after reaching biological maturity (the rate of reaching biological maturity is comparable to that of humans). The average adult Týrýng male is around 165 cm (5 feet and 5 inches) tall and weights 63 kilograms (139 lb). The average adult Týrýng male is around 155 cm (5 feet and 1 inch) tall and weights 55 kilograms (121 lb).

    The Winged Cobras are a race with mysterious origins, possibly as old as Dragons. Over time, they evolved, losing their ability to breathe fire and spit acid. Instead, venomous glands developed, causing a deadly poison. They possess innate magical abilities like telepathy, shapeshifting, and mind control. These powers aid in hunting and hiding. They are immune to Vampirism and Theriantropy, resistant to poisons, diseases, and plagues. Winged Cobras, reaching up to three meters in height, have wings allowing prolonged flight. Breeding involves placing eggs within a creature's carcass. It takes 15 years for adulthood and another 10 for full wing development.

    While preferring poison, their constrictive choke is lethal. Legends exaggerate their appetite, but they discreetly feed and avoid civilized territories. Winged Cobras, intelligent and solitary by nature, breed when genders align. Same-sex encounters result in battles, with the victor consuming the defeated. In their past, a dominant Black Elder established a hierarchy. Winged Cobras live long lives, some exceeding 500 years. They vary in color, often greenish-black. Naming reflects traits and colors. All possess hypnosis and shapeshifting powers, the latter restricted by size limitations.

    Their religion aligns with Dragons, emphasizing destiny within the stars. They believe in an Ancestral Elder, devouring perjurers' souls. Rarely revealing their true form, they avoid densely populated areas, appearing in other species' shapes.

    The Zhì are a race native to the Orient, present only in the State of Zhì (and a single embassy in the city-state of Ka'al Furniya), which diverged from the Central Shár subgroup of the Limjiang around 700 BEKE. Originally indistinguishable from their Central Shár counterparts, the Blessing of the Zhì and their isolation forcibly split them from the Central Shár.

    The Bru'k is one of the four major orcish clans of Brutang, with the other three being Hro'z, Kro'm and Pri'd. They are perhaps the most aggressive out of all of the Orcish clans, that even though their military might is mediocre, their reputation is still quite scary, and is thus effective at intimidating even foes more powerful than them. Even the Hro'z consider them inhumane, and thus are afraid of them. The Bru'k guard their lands with expert skill, and tresspassers are killed or captured - escaping alive is rare. Those captured end up either sacrificed or enslaved. The first is argued to be the preferrable fate, as male slaves are often worked to death or die from the inhumane conditions, while female slaves are repeatedly raped and basically used as broodmares to breed Half-Orcs.

    The reckless nature of the Bru'k has earned them many enemies, and even their fellow Orcs are eager to enslave members of the Bru'k tribe after failed raids by them, often selling them to foreigners afterwards.

    The Community of Antanath is considered the smallest "state" in Continental Artograch - in fact, many don't even consider or recognize it as a state, only as the union of two independent villages - Helixia and Zargonath - in an area unclaimed by any of the powers. This makes Antanath a microstate or a micronation. The community is rather young, found only in 811 AEKE by Toma Dimple, an Etrandish-born Halfling, who led his exodus with less than a hundred Halflings from Etrand and Froturn. The community is still very small, having a population of only 350. Even though a good deal of the initial pioneers were Titanists from Froturn or particioners of the Dwarven religion from Etrand, the spiritual leaders have revitalized the ancient Halfling religion.

    The Dhaeraow Loomin is one of the three main Dark Elven clans, being one of the three successor states of the Kingdom of Marand. The clan is has a reputation of highly skilled thieves, spies and assassins, as well as being infamous for their slyness, their aversion of direct confrontations and tendency to sit back watching their enemies weaken each other by infighting, and then strike down the moment they are all in a position of weakness. The Dhaeraow Loomin is also known as being the clan that maintains most contact with the outside world, consistently engaging in trade and barter with the Kingdom of Etrand, as well as having diplomatic ties with the Empire of Neressa, Principality of Gabyr and the Republic of Keldorn.

It is located in the northwestern coast of the continent of Artograch. Historically, Etrancoast was known as Hulra. Etrancoast's capital is Yrvháven.

    The Empire of Neressa, lying in the Grey Mountains (center of Artograch) may be small, but her army is well-trained and equipped. Even though the city-state's inhabitants are mixed of various races, they are still xenophobic, and do not even let suspicious-looking strangers inside the city gates. They do not tolerate orcs within the borders, and even lizardmen are barely tolerated.

    The Empire led by the Emperor, who is also one of the members of the Circle of Fire. In theory, his position is inherited within the family, and the one who is the most skilled with fire magic gets to inherit the throne. The Imperial Family is considered to be descended from a mythical and legendary "Phoenix Emperor", dating back to the times of Fathred's short-lived confederation, which unified the Humans under one border for the first time. While the Emperor is equal to all the other members of the Circle of Fire, he is the absolute ruler of Neressa itself.

    The Free City of Charnek, also known by the simplified name of the Republic of Charnek to outsiders, a city-stated located on the south-eastern shore of Continental Artograch.

    The city-state was founded by a mixture of Lizardman and Goblin refugees fleeing from the Orcish onslaught that followed the Great War - although the city calls itself the "Free City of Charnek", it is only nominally independent, and is in fact a de facto Gabyrian vassal, granting special privileges and prefential treatment to merchants from that city, having agreed to take on the financial burden of maintaining all Gabyrian ships docked in Charnek's docks in exchange for Gabyrian protection.

    Although originally founded by a mixture of Lizardmen and Goblins, due to its role as an intermediary between Gabyr and the various continental states of Artograch, as well as its participation in the maritime trade between East and West, the city has attracted immigrants from just about all races of the continent, making it one of the most multicultural areas of it. Due to this - as well as the heavy Gabyrian influence - the Gabyrian language has become the city-state's new lingua franca.

    The Free City of Ka'al Furniya is a city-state located in the Orient, This city-state is a unique blend of cultures, religions, and races, governed by a theocratic oligarchy swearing allegiance to the Cult of Cha'al.

    Ka'al Furniya is a high diverse country in terms of both race and religion - despite the theocratic form of government, there appears to be a mostly peaceful coexistence between various religious and racial groups - nonetheless, the theocracy holds an iron grip and while they may not expect foreigners to convert, they most definitely expect the city's non-Qori residents to keep the cult's taboos and rules in mind.

    The Gurtha Ndengin is one of the three main Dark Elven clans, being one of the three successor states of the Kingdom of Marand. Every Dark Elf from the other clans trembles when they hear the name Gurtha Ndengin.

    The Hro'z is one of the four major orcish clans of Brutang, with the other three being Bru'k, Kro'm and Pri'd. They're not a particularly friendly people. They are known for being rather honourless, enslaving even those surrendered foes who dropped their weapons after being told do so after venturing too close to their territory - however, they also treat their slaves slightly better than some of the more notorious clans. They also have a strange tradition, in which they let non-orcish women go free, if they agree to get impregnated by an orc - a tradition which makes even other orcs stratch their heads.

    The Insular Lizardman Empire is the leftover of the Ancient Lizardman Empire. The island the Empire is located at was colonized by the Lizardman Empire around 6000 BEKE. The Empire split into two in 3700, and while the Continental Lizardman Empire fell in 3000 BEKE, the Insular Lizardman Empire still stands to this day.

    The Kingdom of Etrand, situated in North-Eastern Artograch, originated in 0 BEKE/AEKE through Corlagon's unification. Initially agrarian, Etrand advanced in the 2nd century AEKE, becoming a prominent state. Etrand's capital is Grandfolk.

    Post-Demonic Invasions, Etrand expanded by annexing Hulra, now Northern Etrand. It emerged as Artograch's top military power, boasting the largest economy and population. Etrand co-founded the Alliance for the Light.

    Etrand, while not monoracial or monolingual, is predominantly human. They hold leadership roles but have diverse racial minorities, including Dwarves, Gnomes, Lizardmen, and growing Elven and Orcish communities. The dominant religion is the Church of Titanius.

    The Kingdom of Froturn is a unitary state located in the Northwestern corner of Continental Artograch, formed around 1300 BEKE, saw political turmoil and fragmentation between 1100 and 800 BEKE. Despite dominance by High Elves, a notable Halfling minority existed from the state's early days. Though not a global trade or military powerhouse today, Froturn is a significant center for learning and religion, especially for the Church of Titanius. It plays a vital role in Magic and Literature studies and is a founding member of the Alliance for the Light. Froturn's current territorial extent is about 239,331 sq km (92,406 sq miles). Froturn's capital is Yanus.

    The Kingdom of Shíd is a tribal kingdom in the Orient populated by the Shíd people, although it may be better described as a relatively loose confederation of tribes than a genuine kingdom, with each king having a variable amount of authority over the tribes. Despite the large amount of territory it seems to occupy on the map, the Kingdom holds control over a much smaller amount of inhabitable area: large swathes of impenetrably thick jungles make the majority of their "territory" unfit for habitation, restricting the Shíd to the coastal areas, as well as some of the highlands around their borders that lack the thick jungles.
