◭one of my favorite statements in philosophy is "The demand to be loved is the greatest of all arrogant presumptions" by Frederick Nietzsche. It is fairly cheap to buy a copy of his 'Aphorisms on Love and Hate'. It is a really amazing book that gives insight about loving a person, society and yourself.
