I don't blame people for relying on CHUB or APIs if they only have a smartphone, Chromebook, or a really old (Pre 2016) PC running Linux. I mostly post here for those people.
But even an early Ryzen CPU and Kobold CPP can comfortably run SicariusSicarii's "Impish LLAMA 4B" these days, with all the same features as CHUB free.
Edit: NOW I blame people for using Chub rather than local. The only reason people came to Chub for remote AI was to escape Janitor AI and Novel AI's censorship. Now it's creeping in here too? I hope the administration realizes they're just making Chub as irrelevant as JAI and NAI. Your company has no future now.
